The Bureau of Indian Affairs has been pulling what can only seem as SHADY moves in filling Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. Genealogist Emilio Reyes is fighting back with lawsuits that the Justice Department has to defend.
This is from the 1940 census. We see redactions here, for no reason. There is no private information than cannot be shared.
What is redacted on page 28 is the HANDWRITTEN changes made well after the 1940 census, which is evidenced on the 2nd page. HOW can additions to the 1940 census INCLUDE people born in the 1960's? Remember these were from the BIA's OWN files, which were different from what the NATIONAL ARCHIVE HAS.
