Documentation plays a dynamic role in international marketing as it enables the smooth flow of
goods and expenditures thereof crossways national boundaries. Documentation forms a uniformity
and is a finalized process it also act like a documentary proof whether the goods entered or exit in
the country. It becomes the data for government.

Import documentation is, however, difficult as the number of papers to be filled in is large, and the
number of concerned consultants to whom the related documents are to be handed over.

Commercial invoice is one of the important set of document when it comes to import as it consists
of record of official transaction of import and export which has taken place.
