Introduction and Overview
Thank you for purchasing Styles Disk #29 with 22 great new Top 40 Country styles for Band-in-a-Box.

Note: As these styles use some of the newer Stylemaker features, you must have Band-in-a-Box Version 10.0 (or
higher) for these styles to work properly.

Nashville session player Mike Harrison has once again assisted us with these great new Top 40 Country Styles.
This set features 22 Country styles with a modern contemporary sound focusing on slower and medium tempo Pop 8 th
and Pop16th grooves. All of the instruments are played by real musicians for a live human feel. For the Guitars and Bass,
Mike uses his guitar MIDI controller to record the style patterns which explains why the guitars sound authentic. All of
the styles use 5 instruments.

Theres a wide variety of styles and instrumentation, from Slow Ballads with a strong pop influence to acoustic Folk
styles, medium tempo power ballads, up-tempo Country Rock, Alternative Country sounds, modern Bluegrass feels, Soft
Rock and many other influences.

The instrumentation varies from acoustic guitar to piano, organ, mandolin, synth pads, strings, fiddle, and electric
guitar. The drum parts range from brush drum kits, rock drum kits and percussion in styles as varied as R&B, Rock, Pop,
Soul, and Folk. All have the contemporary, cutting edge sound of modern Country. These styles emulate such artists as
Brooks&D, JoDeeM, FaithH, LeeAnnW, SaraE, DiamondR, MartinaMcB, HalK and many others.

One of the easiest ways to explore the new styles is from the select style window (press the STY button). If you
scroll to the end of the categories list on the left, you can select the Top 40 Country 29 category, then highlight the
individual styles and press the Load song demo button. Its a good idea to un-check the Auto-change Melody instrument
so that youll hear the correct demo melody instrument. More detailed information about each style is available by pressing
the Memo button of the Demo tune. The Demo tunes for these styles follow the same naming convention as the styles
themselves. For example, the DEMO song for C_LEANN.STY is C_LEANN.MGU.
