WRITING OUTLINE

1. A TEXT A DAY

Collecting recipes of different places is my favorite hobby. I cut out recipes from
magazines and newspapers. I carefully remove labels from cans and bottles which contain
recipes. I even write product manufacturers to ask for their recipes. The most special
recipe among my collection is humba which is a native Visayan recipe.

The Human Body

Our body is made up of parts that work together in perfect harmony. Each part carries a
precise function and interacts with the others. The human body is made up of more than 50
billion living organisms called cells. There are several types of cells. Cells that carry out the
same function group together to form tissues. Tissues group together to form organs.
Organs that work together make up systems and are controlled by the brain.
The human body is composed of the following systems: Skeletal, Muscular, Digestive,
Circulatory Nervous, Respiratory, Excretory, Reproductive and Endocrine System.

Our body needs proper care for it to be healthy and strong at all times. We should
nourish it with the right amount of food. We should give it enough rest and sleep. Exercise
will be of great help for the muscles and bones. We should protect it from too much heat or
cold by wearing the proper clothing and shelter.
