I. Company Background
d

RSIGCI was formed on July 17, 1997 by Mr. Nanding Bancoro and Engr. Marieta A. Bancoro as a

single proprietorship. Due to the intensive and rapid growth of both the sales and project teams, on

September 26, 2008, the company became a corporation and was named REIGN-NAN
NAN Sales Industry

(RSIGCI), with the main objective to engage in trading of electrical and

and General Contractor, Inc. (RSIGCI)

mechanical equipment and parts for industrial use. Further, it is the Companys secondary objectives to

engage in installation and commissioning, which is part of after

after-sales services. Industrial
rial painting works

also added in the services along with cladding works for steam pipe lines. RSIGCI specializes in

sourcing, supply and maintenance of products for industrial and commercial applications imported

directly from Europe, North America, Austr

Australia,
alia, Singapore and other Asian countries. Mr. Nanding

Bancoro is the CEO of the company. Her wife Mrs. Marieta Bancoro is the Executive President. The

president is their eldest, Mr. Marc Allen Bancoro while their youngest son, Mr. Mike Anthony Bancoro is

the Accounting and Finance Manager

Manager. The other staffs in the Accounting Department are:
are Mr.

Fersantoval Matta - an Accounting Officer, Mr. Michael Gabriel - the Payroll Specialist, Ms. Katherine

Joyce Medrana - the Collection Specia

Specialist, and Ms. Rose Ann Galano - the Petty Cash Specialist. While

the HR Department is being managed by Mr. Albert Bondoc - the manager together with his staff Ms.

Reinalyn Dacillo, Mr. Jiovannie Alcaraz and Mr. Darwin Dela Cruz.

II. Situational Analysis

In my one month stay at RSIGCI, I had encountered few problems that I, together with the other staff

resolved it immediately. Out of those instances, I chosen two problems were I find it more difficult than

the others. The first one is the compilations of their records. They have this stock room where they put all

their files. It is not separated by department. Each box does not have proper labels in order to identify it

right away. And our first task on our very first day is to file the DTR of the workers in different projects.

What we have done is first separate the DTR per project and then we arrange it by dates. We put labels on

top of each file and put it inside the box. With that it became more presentable. We also did the same
thing with their Expense Report. Just like the DTR, those documents are not properly filed. What we did

was, we separate the reports by employee names. We provide a folder for each employee and then we

used fastener to file it. We also put the name of the employee at the side of the folder so that it can easily

be seen when we put the folders in the box. I can say that it help a lot in the company since those

documents were used especially during the audit. With that also, missing documents will be avoided and

it will also help in computation of the monthly reports. With that, if anyone will need to look for those

documents they can easily locate it. Another problem that I had encountered was those incomplete

biometrics. Some do not have in, out, and in & out. With that it is hard to identify if they are late, if they

incurred over time or they are really absent on that day. As I approached Sir Darwin with my problem, he

told me that he will asked the employees the reasons why they do not have In and Out. Their reasons are:

some are in official business, in site for visitation, have meeting outside the company with customers and

some are absent. He gave me the approved forms such as the Leave Form, OB Form, and OT Form of

those employees. With that information I was able to accomplis

accomplishh my task. I can easily compute for the

number of tardiness, absences and overtime including their leaves.

II. Accomplishments

My 150 hours of stay here at RSIGCI is truly a great experience for me. With them, I was
w able to prepare

pay slip, was able to interpret biometrics

biometrics, was
as able to know the requirements in applying for a job,
job was

as able to compute for the 13th month

able to post the remittances such as SSS, Phil health, and HDMF, was

pay even though it is just up to the month of June

June, was able to interact with the staff of the company and

feel the ambiance

ance of working like a regular employee, was
as able to compute the progress billings of their

projects and was able to prepare an expense report. All those tasks I had done were such a big help on

how I would deal on my future work. They really gave me the satisfaction base on my objective in this

OJT which is to enhance my knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom, feel and experience the

actual world of work and develop the value of professionalis

professionalism. To the entire RSIGCI Family, thank you,

God bless and see you soon. I hope that the next time our path will cross, I am already a professional.
