invasion
Ca. 6th century BCE

Greece
in 546 BCE it attacked Persia and was easily
beaten by the new Persian king, Cyrus the Great

Greece is made up of independent city-states who
cant seem to get along or agree on anything
..but Greeks may be okay

tactics and weapons are superior
(thank Lycurgus the Spartan!)
leaders are very good
