The Saint John Police Force will be hosting a Cops For
Cancer concert on Wednesday, August 18th, 8:00 pm at
Saint John High School. The concert will include

½ tsp each vanilla and grated lemon peel 1 tsp / 5g salt

It’s been a fun-filled adventure at the Kennebecasis Public
Library this summer, but our Summer Reading Club still has
one stop left to make - our end of year party! If you’re a
member of the SRC, like to have fun, and think cake tastes
just great, then we want to see you! Our party is today, August

The SRC’s end of summer party is always a blast, and this

performed by Abegail and Eden Llego who will be
accompanied by guitarist Doug Boyer, an ECMA nominee.

SUMMER SPEC THE 140 PENINSULA ARMY CADETS
One Cadet, Noah Klotz-Mosher, who earned the Duke of
Edinburgh (bronze) in May 2010 was selected to spend six
weeks at the base in Whitehorse, Yukon. His activities
included going on a 200 kilometer Canoe trip and a
Tatshenshini Expedition. Way to go Noah!
Other Cadets were off to Camp Argonaut an extension of
DRIVER We Train Base Gagetown for two, three, and six week programs. Their
courses included physical fitness, marching, ceremonial drill,
EDUCATION For Life sports, marksmanship and general training with many other
fun activities thrown in. All cadets have returned after having
successfully completed their respective programs.
CLASSES WILL BE HELD AT: At the beginning of the summer the entire Cadet Unit also

be found along public roads, near streams, on private
