community! Festival Learning will offer many popular classes such as
Astronomy, History of Del Webb and Survival Spanish.

Our new Festival Learning Coordinator, Lori Pierson has done a great job of
recruiting new teachers and some exciting new classes.

Sandy Shipman, B.A., M.Ed., is a Sun City Festival


resident. As a Washington state educator for 27 years,
Sandy taught K-6 and led teachers as an Instructional
Coach and Adjunct Professor. She loves nature, writ-
ing, and the contemplative life, and looks forward to
sharing these interests with the residents of Sun City
