I am currently looking for an entry level position that will help prepare me for a career in film,
television, and media related industries. Im looking to improve my writing skills, understanding of the
industry, and ability to use my creative skills in a business environment.

Blue Horizons Program: Nine week environmental documentary filmmaking
course taught by documentarian Michael Hanrahan and former Vulcan
Productions VP Richard Hutton. Course resulted in a short documentary on the

FAMST 188B: Advanced screenwriting course taught by Robo Cop writer
Michael Miner. Course involved instruction on theme, tone, narrative, character
development, and formal screenwriting skills. Resulted in completion of feature
length screenplay.
FAMST 96: Advanced film analysis course. A study of the basic formal
dimensions of cinema with a heavy emphasis on analyzing narrative structure.
Intensive writing course that resulted in completion of five papers on formal
narrative and cinematic analysis.
FAMST 101E: International history of electronic media from the 1960s through
the present day. Emphasis on broadcasting, cable, and satellite systems as
social and economic institutions. Resulted in term paper analyzing impact of
HBOs business model on professional boxing programming.
