The founder and chairman of AOE
Over 34 years in the offshore industry, involved in all phases of offshore engineering design
and analysis (from conceptual, FEED, DED/EPCI) & Installation support) specifically in the
areas of deepwater floating production, riser and mooring systems in worldwide projects.
Developed the wave equation model for driving 2,200 feet conductor casing below the mud-
line in GOM (Gulf of Mexico) the deepwater environment.
Served as a Chief of IDD (Indonesian Deepwater Development) project at the Executive Agency
for Upstream Oil and Gas Regulator, BPMIGAS, 2009-11.

Dr. Amin Gunawan

Director, Technology and Business Development (Singapore Office)
He has more than 25 years of comprehensive experience in the offshore and marine industry.
He was a production engineer at Batam fabrication yard, McDermott Indonesia, and a
structural, pipeline and project engineer at McDermott Singapore (1992-97).
He has worked as a senior engineer at ABS Pacific Division on the guide development of
offshore floating structures and the setup of offshore technology centre (2006-08).

Director Technology
Project Principal with hands-on experiences in FPSOs, SPARs, Subsea Pipelines, Platforms and
Polypropylene Plant projects. In those projects he found that he loves to explore in various
disciplines to have clearly understanding about the total picture of the product to proceed and
guide all project phases by systematic creative innovation solutions.
Dr. RS Trijana Kartoatmodjo
Senior Expert Advisor in Petroleum Engineering
Worked as a field engineer, technical, engineering and project manager in PERTAMINA, for
more than 37 years.
Served as a Chief Investigator in the committee appointed by the government to examine
the disaster of the mud eruption at Banjar Panji, Sidoarjo.

Senior Technical Advisor in Floating Production Systems
Over 45years working experience in deep ocean system development including the deep ocean
mining and floating production systems.
One of the original architects for the very successful Spar concept for deep water oil
production.

Deep Ocean Gas Storage (DOGS)
Deep Ocean Gas Storage (DOGS) is a method
for storing the gas on the seafloor, using a
simple pressure equalized gas storage device
that is similar in nature to the Multi Column
Floater ballast tanks. They are anchored using
gravity (fixed ballast) or vertically loaded
anchors. Options can be built into the system
for discharge and hydrate prevention. The gas
is stored and then offloaded to either a
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) tanker or an
LNG tanker.

of approximately 10.2 km for crude import and export in Midia, Romania, to
