Full IP Nokia 3G procedure

First step is to put the Node B in Maintanace Mode so that it does not generate alarms.

Then from the Information menu write down the actual IP, the WBTS id and the RNC
name.
The new IP and the new data may be found out from the .xml file
ip_wbts_1553yyyy.xml

Connect to the Node B through the WBTS site manager from the Element
Management menu.

And introduce the actual IP, the user Nemuadmin and the password nemuuser and
click connect and then accept.
In the menu Configuration --> Licence management

The licenses which are installed and active on the node B can be seen:

For a Node B which is working over IP we need to install the licenses:

- VLAN Traffic Diferentiat. for Flexi LK for all node Bs over IP and
- Timing over Packet for Flexi BTS LK for node Bs which are not having a separate
source of synchronization (you can see if TOP is necessary or not in the IP
wbts_ftm_1553yyyy.xml).
Now we have to install the licenses with the license manager from the Administration
menu for this see the License installation procedure:

Now check again on WBTS site manager in License management if these 2 licenses
are installed: VLAN and TOP.
Next step is to go to the RNC and connect to RNC Element Manager from Element
Management menu - in this case the RNC is 15520004 so in the element manager is
necessary to connect to EM_FT4R
Here we block the WCELL s of the Node B:
Now we go back to WBTS site manager and it is VERY important to create a back
up file with the actual configuration of the Node B. For this go to menu: File -->
Backup commissioning files and save the file on your C:// drive location.
After the backup file is saved go to commissioning TAB, deselect from the Target -->
BTS and select the IP_wbts_ftm_1553yyyy.xml file from your C:// drive

And press next -->, next -->, next--> until you receive the error:
This must be corrected by changing the last 4 into 0.

Then go with next-->, next--> until the end when you press: Send parameters and
Dont save.
After the activation of the parameters has been done go to Configuration menu and
connect to CM Operations Manager and open it:

Here go to File--> Import--> Import file and open from your C:// drive the file
IP_RAC_WBTS_RAML2_1553yyyy.xml. At parameters select Internal Values and
then Start.

Wait untill the file is processed and then Close.

Refresh the CM Opeations manager window and select your new file, make right
click and select Provison.

Deselect Prepare plan and push Start.

After the RNW Activation finished you can check now in RNC Element Manager if
the new IPNB has appeared in the IP Iub menu and if the O&M link is enabled and
the node B has the new IP.
Now everything that needs to be done is to unlock the cells, deactivate the
Maintenance Mode and set the Daylight statuses and Maxwell.
