GUIDELINES/MECHANICS FOR STORY TELLING CONTEST {in cooperation with BASA-Pilipinas) 1. The contest is open to all public and private grade 2-3 pupils in the division of Bohol, Each school is allowed to send only one (1) contestant to the district level. Only the first place winner in the district level will advance to the higher level of competition. The same mechanics will be used in the succeeding or higher competitions until it reaches to the finals in the division level. All contestants are required to submit their tale or story to be used in the competition to the contest committee in the respective levels of competition (district, sub cong. , cong.,& division) on Ad paper, using Times Roman (14 pt font size), 4. Each contestant is given 3 to 5 minutes for the presentation of the story. 5. Time shall officially start when the contestant utters the first word of the presentation. And a penalty of 1 point deduction every 30 seconds in excess.
