Additional requested information:

1. PRICE BASIS: Quotation shall be made on FOR Destination/ free delivery at site basis inclusive of all taxes,
duties, levies, packing, forwarding, freight charges, etc. each indicated clearly and separately
2 (a). EXCISE DUTY: Excise Duty (ED) is required to be mentioned both in terms of percentage of quoted
basic unit price + packing & forwarding and in terms of fixed value.
2 (b). If excise duty is not mentioned as prescribed or ED is quoted as inclusive/ not applicable, the evaluation
of bid will be done without considering any cenvat credit.
2 (c). Incase ED is indicated as not applicable, the reason must be mentioned in the offer along with the tariff
head. The bidder should quote actual amount of ED applicable, where excise duty is quoted as inclusive in
their quoted rate.
2 (d). In case the ED amount in excise invoice is found to be lower than the quoted rate due to reasons other
than statutory variations, the differential ED amount shall be recovered from your invoice.
3 (a). GUARANTEE: The materials shall have a guarantee against defective design, faulty materials of
construction, poor workmanship & unsatisfactory performance for 18 months from the date of supply or 12
months from the date of use whichever is earlier.
3 (b). The guarantee certificate to this effect shall be submitted by you along with the dispatch documents while
claiming payment.
3 (c). The Fitment guarantee certificate shall be submitted by you along with the dispatch documents.
4. TEST CERTIFICATES: manufacturers standard test certificate / test certificate from govt. / nabl approved
test house shall be submitted by you along with the dispatch documents.

5. PAYMENT TERM: 100% payment shall be made within 30 days of receipt and acceptance of the material at
our site.
6. PRICE FIRMNESS: Prices quoted shall remain firm and fixed till complete execution of order.
7. DELIVERY PERIOD (REALISTIC): You are requested to please specify realistic delivery period.
8. OFFER VALIDITY: Offer should be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of tender opening. If required,
NALCO may request for extension for further period of 90 days.
9. PACKING: Standard & secure roadworthy packing with environmental friendly material shall be given by you
for the above material to avoid ingression of moisture & dust, damage during transportation.
10. A bidder may seek clarification regarding the bidding document provisions, bidding process and/ or
rejection of his bid which shall be responded within a reasonable time.
11. Please confirm that you have gone through the tender document in total and have understood it
completely.
12. The standard terms and condition of Purchase (domestic) of Nalco is available in our SRM website (home
page) as a link. Please confirm your acceptance in toto.
13. Please mention your internal offer reference no. for future correspondence.
14. We advise you to go through the BID DEMO and FAQ available in the home page of the E-procurement
in SRM-7 link for better understanding.
