worldwide.
One of the most important aims at Clariant is to identify and respond to your needs
quickly and accurately. Our representatives in 90 countries provide the regional force to
achieve this. You can rely on us for emulsions. Production sites in 27 countries always
guarantee you short supply routes and minimum delivery times. Our local technical staff
will be there quickly to help you in the event of any problems or for joint developments.
Our scientists are in close contact with each other internationally and maintain an
intensive transfer of know-how. Thus you are able to benefit from know-how and exper-
tise acquired at the other end of the world.
We employ an unusually broad range of monomer systems for our emulsions. In this
way we are able to respond equally directly to our customers production requirements
and the different market requirements in the various regions across the world. This Clariant Venezuela
overview shows, in a summarised form, the wide range of possibilities in relation to our Maracay Plant
current product range.

Product preservation
Even though our emulsion products have been treated to be protected
against attack by microorganisms, the usual recommended preservatives
for polymer emulsions should be used; the compatibility and effectiveness of these
preservatives must be tested beforehand. Here emulsions used for the food sector
are an exception, as they do not contain any preservatives.
