The

Emulsions

Exactly your chemistry.

Welcome to the
world of emulsions.
Our emulsions are water- The world of emulsions is an extremely varied one. After all,
based and to a large extent today emulsions are essential for numerous applications, and
require no solvents. For this
reason they are particularly thats why we encounter them everywhere in our day-to-day

improve the properties of many products and are important
components in everyday items. In addition, emulsions are
water-based and to a large extent require no solvents. For this

Whether its for packaging food or for leather clothing,
emulsions often play an essential role. In road surfaces for
example, they help to bring about a significant reduction in dis-
turbance from traffic noise, or they provide concrete floors
with a high degree of impermeability, thereby helping to protect
ground water from hazardous substances. We also encounter
them in our homes as components in paints for indoor and out-
door use, wood varnishes, and varnishes for parquet-floors and
furniture.
Flexibility is our strength.
Our products are geared
entirely to your needs.

worldwide.
One of the most important aims at Clariant is to identify and respond to your needs
quickly and accurately. Our representatives in 90 countries provide the regional force to
achieve this. You can rely on us for emulsions. Production sites in 27 countries always
guarantee you short supply routes and minimum delivery times. Our local technical staff
will be there quickly to help you in the event of any problems or for joint developments.
Our scientists are in close contact with each other internationally and maintain an
intensive transfer of know-how. Thus you are able to benefit from know-how and exper-
tise acquired at the other end of the world.

We employ an unusually broad range of monomer systems for our emulsions. In this
way we are able to respond equally directly to our customers production requirements
and the different market requirements in the various regions across the world. This Clariant Venezuela
