Two Reindeer Friends
About this pattern Materials and tools (amount for 1 deer only).
Toy is crocheted in continuous Yarn: Fingering / 4 ply (14 wpi); 231 yards (211 meters) per 50 gr skein.

Prepare wire frame (use thin wire)


Measure the prong number 1 and multiply it by 14 (in
my case prong is 2 cm x 14 = 28 cm). The number you

Eyes Thread a needle with white yarn and make a "shine" on

not sew top part of the ear to the head.

Insert the wire ends of the antlers into the head 2


rounds from the top of the head. Pin and sew.

Attach the fringe of white yarn pieces. Brush it.

Cut two ovals of the matching size from fleece or felt


for the eyes. Height of the eye is 6 rounds. Width of the
eye - 5 stitches. Distance between the eyes at the
bottom is 3 stitches; at the top they are close to each
other. Attach eyes to the head. Paint or embroider the
eyes on the fleece ovals. Use the photo as a guide.

Sew the tail.


Position the legs and the hands as required (use the
photo as a guide).

Final assembly

Wind polyester padding around the ends of the legs


frame, fasten it with a thread or sticky tape, and insert
them into the legs.
Sew the legs to the body.
Insert the hands' wire ends into the body, pin, and sew.
Sew the head to the body (insert the wire frame into the
head).
