William Sanderson & Son 2016.
Colour: Enchanting antique gold.
Nose: Lovely balance of matured wood and rich
malt touches the senses. Smoothness of vanilla and
butterscotch are skillfully embedded on layers of
honey, creamy caramel, cinnamon and marzipan
with a subtle hint of citrus fruits. Delicate aromas of
spiced pepper are perceived even in the rich
complexity of the blend.
Taste: Elegant wood flavours caress the palate as
they slowly unfold. Sweet whispers of caramelized
peaches and vanilla add to the complexity of wood
elements. Even in its intriguing complexity, all
flavours are wonderfully balanced with a delicate
spread of medium sweetness at the end.
FINISH: Complex and long, great warmth with silky
smoothness.

Colour: Amber with golden highlights.

Aroma: Matured wood, toasted malt, mild
honey sweetness, delicate butterscotch
bordering on cream, with floral nuances that
emerges at the end.

oak and sherry sweetness, spreads warmly in
the mouth like silent sea waves.
Finish: Balanced, long, intense and bright.

sparkling water and 2 cubes of ice.
THE BLEND
With a 130 year old legacy Black Dog comes in 2
variants, Black Dog Black Reserve and Black Dog
Triple Gold Reserve. Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve
is the first and only Triple Matured Scotch in its
class, as all other scotch whiskies are matured only
twice. It is expertly crafted and matured and
married for the third time in Oloroso Sherry Butts.
This triple maturation is what lends this exquisite
blend complexity and depth of character. Black Dog
Black Reserve is an aged and rare liquid with a
unique blend of malt and grain scotch whiskies
from various regions of Scotland, for a warm and
luxurious flavor.

THE LEGACY
In 1883, Sir Walter Millard, a connoisseur and
globetrotter returned home to Scotland to pursue
his two passions Angling and Scotch Whisky. His
quest for the perfect Scotch ended with the
creation of Black Dog - a unique, exceptionally
smooth whisky crafted with the finest ingredients
from all over Scotland. In a flash of inspiration,
Millard christened the new blend in honour of his
favourite fishing fly The Black Dog an elegant,
feathered tackle that still endorses every pack.
