Project work:

Name of the Project: SAFE TRAJECTORY PATH AT ZEBRA CROSSING AND

OBSTACLE DETECTION FOR BLIND.

Description: The main aim is to present service for blind and people with low vision to assist them
to cross the road independently to some extent. Present approach provides the user with significant
information about crossing the signal without human help to some extent. There is a RFID reader
which is placed on the walking stick. The user knows it by voice processer. The signals generate
through RF transmitter which is placed at traffic signal sends the signal status to the user. Based
on this information received, he can decide whether to wait or cross the road. In addition to this an
ultrasonic sensor will be placed on the stick to assist the blind person regarding his surroundings.
Ultrasonic sensor scans the environment for obstacles continuously. If it senses any obstacle,
microcontroller gives this information through voice processer.
