IN HIGH SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCE OF NORTH SUMATRA (STIKESSU)

I. INTRODUCTION
A. BACKGROUND
The development of science and technology and global information, especially in the
health sector requires every element of the nation's working to improve ourselves in order to
be able to answer every challenge in improving the quality of service to the community. In
order to improve the quality of health human resources are highly competitive and on par
with other nations, the quality of education for health is a very important thing that should not
be abandoned. For this to happen need to be given proper education and on par with the times
by not looking at the economic level of society. This is in accordance with the mandate of the
Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945 that all Indonesian citizens are entitled
to a decent education and adequate.
The HKBP hospital Balige is one referral hospital in Toba Samosir that required to be
able to provide optimum service. One of the services that exist in the HKBP hospital Balige
is nursing services. Optimal nursing care requires the professional health personnel in
addition to adequate facilities and infrastructure. In this context, I as one of the nation's
children who act as health workers feel compelled morally and functionally to continuing
education to improve the quality of service that I've agreed in HKBP hospital Balige.

B. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

My purpose and objective to carry out the education in Nursing Study Program of
Nursing at the High School Of Health Science Of North Sumatra (STIKESSU) is to improve
the human resources professional, reliable and have sufficient knowledge, skills, and attitudes
to carry out the profession nursing accountable in a system of public health services
appropriate policies in HKBP hospital Balige particular care and basic nursing care up to a
certain level of complexity independently to individuals, families, and communities based on
the principles of nursing.

C. TIME AND PLACE AND DURATION OF STUDY

 Based on the academic calendar, Nursing Studies Program at the High School Of
Health Science Of North Sumatra (STIKESSU) that the education system is divided into 2
(two) stages in an inseparable package, namely:
1. Academic Stage, with a Bachelor of Nursing (S.Kep) for 4 (four) Semester.
2. Phase Profession, with a degree nurses (Ns) for two (2) Semester
The lecture will take place starting in september 2016 and will end in December 2019
with a 2-year study period for S.Kep degree and 1 year for proesi nurses (Ns).

D. CONCENTRATION
The Options concentration that selected in following studies at the High School Of
Health Science Of North Sumatra (STIKESSU) is Nursing Study Program with a profession
Nurses.

E. FUNDING
Funds needed for his education at the High School Of Health Science Of North
Sumatra (STIKESSU) is Rp. 37.700.000 with the following details:
1. Education Cost : Rp. 30.2 million,
2. Cost of Living Rp. 7.500.000,
Details of the cost of each semester as well as an attachment in the form of physical
data can be seen in this proposal attachment.
