1) Nineteen (19) Terrain Hexes (Tiles).

The nineteen (19) terrain hexes are distributed as follows:


Four (4) Fields (Grain Resource) Hexes.
Four (4) Forest (Lumber Resource) Hexes.
Four (4) Pasture (Wool Resource) Hexes.
Three (3) Mountains (Ore Resource) Hexes.
Three (3) Hills (Brick Resource) Hexes.
One (1) Desert (No Resource) Hex.

2) Six (6) Sea Frame Pieces.

The six (6) sea frame pieces interlock with each other to form the frame for the 19
terrain hexes.
Each frame piece has one end with a rounded tab (with a number), and the other end
with a blank cut (with a number) to receive
the tab of the corresponding number. The sea frame pieces also have 1-2 Harbors.
The following is the composition of the sea frame pieces in the form: (Tab#|
Blank#):

1|6: One 2:1 Wool Harbor, One 3:1 Generic Harbor.


2|1: One 3:1 Generic Harbor.
3|2: One 2:1 Brick Harbor, One 3:1 Generic Harbor.
4|3: One 2:1 Lumber Harbor.
5|4: One 2:1 Grain Harbor, One 3:1 Generic Harbor.
6|5: One 2:1 Ore Harbor.

3) Nine (9) Harbor Pieces.


The nine (9) harbor pieces are used to cover the printed harbors on the sea frame
pieces in a Variable Setup.
The following is the composition of the harbor pieces:

One (1) x 2:1 Wool Harbor.


One (1) x 2:1 Lumber Harbor.
One (1) x 2:1 Brick Harbor.
One (1) x 2:1 Ore Harbor.
One (1) x 2:1 Grain Harbor.
Four (4) x 3:1 Generic Harbors.

4) Eighteen (18) Circular Number Tokens (Chits).


The eighteen (18) circular number tokens are placed onto the eighteen (18) resource
terrain hexes
(the desert hex does not get a circular number token). They represent the outcomes
of two (2) six-sided dice (sum of two dice).
Each circular number token has a large number (the sum of two dice), a letter over
the number (used for a Variable Setup),
and a number of dots (pips) under the number that represent the number of
combinations the sum can be obtained with two dice out
of the 36 possible combinations of two dice (IE: 2: One combination, 6: Five
combinations). The tokens are as follows
("Number" (Letter: Pips)):

One x "2" (B:*).


Two x "3" (D, Q:**).
Two x "4" (J, N:***).
Two x "5" (A, O:****).
Two x "6" (C, P:*****).
Two x "8" (E, K:*****).
Two x "9" (G, M:****).
Two x "10" (F, L:***).
Two x "11" (I, R:**).
One x "12" (H:*).

5) Ninety-five (95) Resource Cards (Bearing the Symbols for the Ore, Grain, Lumber,
Wool, and Brick Resources).

The ninety-five (95) resource cards are distributed as follows:


Nineteen (19) Brick Resource Cards.
Nineteen (19) Ore Resource Cards.
Nineteen (19) Wool Resource Cards.
Nineteen (19) Grain Resource Cards.
Nineteen (19) Lumber Resource Cards.

6) Twenty-five (25) Development Cards (14 Knight/Soldier Cards, 6 Progress Cards, 5


Victory Point Cards).

The twenty-five (25) development cards are distributed as follows:


Fourteen (14) Knight Cards.
Six (6) Progress Cards (2 x Monopoly, 2 x Road Building, 2 x Year of Plenty).
Five (5) Victory Point Cards (Chapel, Library, Market, Palace, University).

7) Four (4) Building Costs Cards.


One building costs card for each player color:
One (1) Blue.
One (1) White.
One (1) Red.
One (1) Orange.

8) Two (2) Special Cards: Longest Road & Largest Army.

9) Sixteen (16) Cities (4 of Each Color Shaped like Churches).


Four cities for each player color:
Four (4) Blue.
Four (4) White.
Four (4) Red.
Four (4) Orange.
10) Twenty (20) Settlements (5 of Each Color Shaped like Houses).
Five settlements for each player color:
Five (5) Blue.
Five (5) White.
Five (5) Red.
Five (5) Orange.

11) Sixty (60) Roads (15 of Each Color Shaped like Bars).
Fifteen roads for each player color:
Fifteen (15) Blue.
