Management One Word, thousands functions

Nowadays, every humans activity cannot be irrespective from the term of

management. For thousands years, management has become a powerful tool of
change used to make what is being managed to be better.
The directors or managers who have the power and responsibility to
make decisions and oversee an enterprise always try to take part in order to make
what they control of will be running well. I strongly agree with the term of Sir
Thomas More (1478-1535) about the definition of management. It is said that
management consists of the interlocking functions of creating corporate policy and
organizing, planning, controlling, and directing an organizations resources in order
to achieve the objectives of that policy. Moreover, from those functions as long as
the procedures are done correctly and in the great state, then we can see the outcome
about how useful management is seen at least in four our life point of view such as
in religion, economy, politic, and society.

First of all, it is about religion. We surely have no doubt that God has decided
the best for humankind through His management so we can be able to apply based
on His order. As the result, the outcomes such as we know the knowledge covers
the rules about what is allowed and forbidden. For instance, say in Islam, we cannot
eat pork or something which is not slaughtered by the name of Allah because not
only it will give bad effect for physical and mental problem but also we will get sin
and punishment in hereafter. That means we must eat the allowed one. Furthermore,
as a form of His management, Allah send His messenger such Prophet Muhammad
SAW on earth as guidance so that humankind can be guided to the straight path, we
can implement our best through the His revelation, thats Allah has managed by
creating paradise which will be entered only by believers while hell is for
disbelievers so we at last has been given chance to do the good deeds. In short, those
examples in religion point of view done by Allah are the results of His best
management.
 Second, we continue to the worldly matter that is in economy point of view.
As the backbone of a country, economy has been becoming the main factor how a
nation can be acknowledged by other nation in this competitive era and as a tool to
facilitate welfare to the citizens. To strengthen the economic mobility so it needs
great leaders who can manage the system well both in micro and macro sector. In
addition, management shows its advantages to achieve the goal. There are so many
outcome of good management about this point of view: First, it will create both
effectiveness and efficient in job performance by organizing the competent worker
based on their professionalism. For example, a skillful computer technician should
be put on IT division instead of office kitchen, talent speaker should be placed as
marketing person instead of ordinary worker, etc. Second, making everything easier
to move forward by example is by planning where the suitable place for selling is
because it also gives significant good effect to attract the buyer, and many more.

Third, in politic. It is highly related to the system of government. The better

the management of a country is, the more that country will be developed soon.
Nevertheless, that wont be enough without the actor inside the government system.
When those two meet, The law conceiver through their management ability in
creating corporate policy and organizing, planning, and connecting to make it sense
for human life then it will create good product such as justice in law and its fair
human right application which will make an equal status between the rich and the
poor without any diversity, not only justice but also welfare among citizen will be
completed.

Forth, in society. Management is able to develop environment, organize the

citizen, and built their character to love both environment and other citizens. In the
way of managing environment, a leader who has invited his followers to clean the
rubbish in each house and cycle the ordinary thing like remain bottle, plastic, and
paper then they try to make it worth and create creative products. In managing
through organizing the citizen well, it will increase solidarity, togetherness, and
respect, mutual help among the citizens. Meanwhile, to manage them loving both
environment and citizens. A leader by his management can instruct them to
understand to the condition of nature and lack of other peoples needs such as home,
education, food, clothes by planning to help and donate them money, as a
consequence they can love and respect each other.

In conclusion, from those outcomes representing the examples above, we need

management in every situation in our daily life because it is essential to make
something which individual or group do in order to make it planned, organized, and
controlled well to achieve the main goal in every our life point of view.
