Greetings from the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Islamabad and Usman
Institute of Technology (UIT), Karachi.

NUST is implementing an HEC funded research project titled Valuing Health Loss in Karachi City
from Water Contamination and Household Defensive Behavior and UIT is collaborating with NUST
in this project.

To have a comprehensive discussion on the topic, we are organizing a seminar to be held on 22nd
August, 2017 at the UIT Auditorium, Karachi from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. The subject interactive and
consultative meeting aims to share the key findings of this study with the key stakeholders and to take
their valuable input in order to identify the nature and intensity of the problem and its cost effective
solutions.
