2015 Vedic Astrology Forecast

There are 8 major astrological influences in 2015 that I will be paying close
attention to. You should also be paying attention to them.

Below I outline each one.

I. Jupiter Retrograde - January 1 - April 9

Jupiter is the planet of philosophies, principles and

hopes. When he turns retrograde we reflect upon
these things. What inspires us gets called into
question. This is why we are always reevaluating our
life purpose and direction. These things are based on our inspirations.

II. Saturn Retrograde - March 15-August 2

Saturn is the planet of our long-term commitments, responsibilities,

duties and pressures. The great things in life come from the
commitment of Saturn and the willingness to persevere through
difficulty. However, life might just seem like duty and obligation if
we are not aligned with love, rather than fear.

III. Solar Eclipse - Mar 20, 2015 - Uttara Bhadra |

Jupiter aspect

This solar eclipse in Pisces is the first for this current Rahu / Ketu
placement in the Virgo/Pisces axis. There's a lot of mysticism
implied with this eclipse, especially when we consider Jupiters
aspect and retrograde motion. The conjunction of Mars gives
discipline and emotional courage.

This eclipse happens in Uttara Bhadra Nakshatra, ruled by the
serpent deity Ahi Bhudnya, the celestial serpent, digging deeply
for alternative answers.

IV. Jupiter enters Leo - July 14, 2015

Jupiter in Leo is very inspired, uplifting placement. It is reminiscent of

ancient times when great spiritual leaders were also the Kings. High-
minded virtues and ideals should predominate the next year. Now is
a good time for you to really focus on what inspires you the most,
especially in a spiritual sense.

V. Venus Retrograde - July 25-September 6 Leo
Cancer

Venus is the planet of love and happiness, and especially where we

find those things. When Venus goes retrograde our pleasures and
desires "backup" on us, forcing us to look internally for the source
of happiness. This retrograde cycle goes from Leo to cancer,
showing transformation related to disappointment and high
sensual expectations and appetites.

VI. Solar Eclipse - Sep 13, 2015 - Purva

Phalguni

This is a unique eclipse, in that the sun is being eclipsed in

Leo, but the North node is in Virgo. This shows an
emphasis being put on our personal power, and seeing
beyond just personal confidence - which actually
precedes the detail oriented/task driven qualities of
Virgo.

This eclipse happens in Purva Phalguni, the Nakshatra ruler is Bhaga, the God of delight.
Showing how important it is to share the bounty of our kingdom.

VII. Rahu / Mars Conjunction - November 5/1 - Uttar Phalguni

This placement could lead to a lot of conflict and contentiousness if were not careful. Yet, there
is a lot of promise for strengthening the mind and seeing through the illusions of the mind.
