**Important Points**
Controller Firmware:
The firmware was developed in 2 Stages
Stages.
* Initially, the firmware Version 5.0 was having limited features. The Protocols and other settings were
assumed at early stage to start the work. It needs to upgrade the same with latest Version before
Actual Use.

*A New Version of Firmware 7.7.6 were Developed Later as per actual requirement.
Before commissioning, the Controller Should be Upgraded with Firmware Ver. 7.7.6. Although the same can
be done even after commissioning through SNOC (at RJIL NHQ), but right now it is mandatory to get it done
@ field only.

In field, some of the sites are Upgraded with Latest Firmware Vesion and Some are Still to be up graded.

**Commissioning and Integration with SNOC (at RJIL NHQ)**

**During Commissioning and firmware up gradation to 7.7.6, A Specific IP Address is to be assigned to
controller and further to be integrated with SNOC.

**All Access Cards are supposed to be assigned through SNOC Only.

**Main Purpose of this Document**

** In order to avoid any mistake during Firmware Up gradation and IP Configuration
* This is important to be noted that in any of condition, if the Controller get Configured with Non Confirmed
IP Address, will result in -Controller Stop responding. Neither it will respond to Local Computer nor to
SNOC. In such Condition the Controller need to reset to its factory Settings with help of a Electronic
Hardware +Software Tool. So' Even during any experiment - the controller Last Updated IP Must be
known .

* In case of Controller having Firmware Version - 7.7.6 , makes the resetting very easy by simple
procedure of less than one Minute. So Better to Upgrade the Firmware Firstly in order to save time in case
of Lost IP Addresses. (Procedure Given)

4.1 Power off the Controller and Connect RFID Reader.
Press the Exit Switch and keep the switch in PRESSED state and Power it ON by using 12Volt DC supply for next 10 sec or a next BEEP sound

By Above process the Controller will come at its Default IP/Factory Setting, as given below-

ST Programming tool and Computer, 3rd Programming tool to Controller and Power12VDC

and "Press Start"

Wait for until a "Beep" Sound comes from Computer

5.8 again In "Target Menu", go to "Program & Verify"

Browse and This time Choose
"Ethernet_IAP_v2_4_1.hex"

5.9 Press "Start" and wait till process get complete.

Go to "Option Bytes" and change

"Level 3" from Level "OFF"

Ensure all three Checkboxes are unmarked/ unchecked

come to FM Version 7.7.6 and up gradation Step Version 5.0 to 7.7.6 would not be required)

5.17 Press Upload Button and Reset MCU

** If, IP and Gateway, DNS of controller are not known or does not match with previously used when configured it, in such condition it will not
connect to the utility so be sure about the IP used in the controller before. Reset by tool is the only way to bring the same on Factory Setting.

** Many times Cisco Router Address found Changed by some technical reasons. one need to be sure while SNOC integration.
Now open the Radiante Tester and change the value of "Lock Box IP" Pressthe"Start" button ,commandokmessagewillappearafter

6.9 Go to Explorer and Write Controller IP in Address Bar. > Login Page will appear. <
6.10 Login to page by Entering the USER ID as < user > and PASSWORD as < Acs_13 >
6.11 Click on Browse and select the .bin file "Access_Control_System_V7_7_6"
6.12 Press "Upload Button" and Reset MCU
6.13 Enter the Access control IP in IE again You can see the Firmware version 7.7.6 is there
6.14 Copy the Mac Address from web page and Open the Radiante tester and go to "Wipro Tab"
6.15 Paste the Mac Address in the given field and change the value of Lock Box IP and Laptop IP
according to the Static IP and Gateway resp. of the site and press the respective given buttons and
confirm it.

6.16 Press the "Start Button" and it will show connected instead of Status Now and check Beep Test and
Door Operate 1 again .

6.17 Press the button "Update
