Rationale and Background of the study

Rationale
Death is part of our journey in life. It is unavoidable circumstance and uncertain to

determine when will it happen. The researcher choose this kind of study because the

researcher noticed that other families who have been left by their love ones find it hard to

find a funeral service that will match their budget.

This study is the answer for their problem. This may also help them to get immediately a

funeral service for their love ones.

This study is an offer to help them negotiate and arrange the papers needed to avail a funeral

service. An easy way to link them for their desired service.

Background of the study

The funeral services industry -- a subsection of the miscellaneous services industry, which

is tucked within in the miscellaneous business sector -- is a niche with a small but constant

presence in federal affairs.

A Funeral Service is a service held to memorialize a deceased person with their body

present. A Memorial Service is a service held to memorialize a deceased person with their

body not present.

Composed of funeral homes, cemetery owners and related trade associations, the funeral

services industry seeks to exert federal influence chiefly in the realm of taxes, social

security, health care and veterans affairs.

The word funeral comes from the Latin funus which had a variety of meanings, including

the corpse and the funerary rites themselves. Funerary art is art produced in connection

with burials, including many kinds of tombs, and objects specially made for burial with

a corpse.

The industry's contributions to federal candidates and political committees have generally

increased during the past two decades, hitting the million-dollar mark four times. Since the

mid-1990s, these donations lean Republican. During the 2012 election cycle, contributions

totalled a shade more than $1 million, but were cut in half in the 2104 cycle.

The National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) represents 19,000 individual

professionals in the business and regularly contributes the most during each election cycle;

it spent just under $1 million in the last decade. For the most part, the rest of the contributors

are funeral homes, which vary in their political leanings. Some of these facilities have

routinely given 100 percent of their contributions to Democrats and some have given 100

percent to Republicans.

The funeral services industry continues to face opposition from environmentalists who

argue that the chemicals used in traditional burial practices negatively affect the

environment. Group such as NFDA respond that environmental regulations on their

industry are unnecessarily burdensome and costly, but many now include a 'green funeral'

option.

The funeral usually includes a ritual through which the corpse of the deceased is given

up. Depending on culture and religion, these can involve either the destruction of the body

(for example cremation or sky burial) or its preservation (for example, by mummification

or interment). Differing beliefs about cleanliness and the relationship between body and

soul are reflected in funerary practices. When a funerary ceremony is performed but the

body of the deceased is not available, it is usually called a memorial service or celebration

of life.
