External Wireless Repeater Setup Guide (Windows)

Purpose: To connect a wired network printer to a wireless router.

Steps:
(1) Connect the Repeater to the Computer by using a network cable (network cable comes with the
Repeater). Connect the AC Power Supply and turn ON the Repeater.

(2) Define an IP Address for your Computer (Eg. 192.168.0.88).


NOTE: The Repeater uses the default IP Address of 192.168.0.254.

For Windows XP: Go to [Control Panel] [Network Connection] [Local Area Connection]
[Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)] [Properties]

For Windows 8: Go to [Control Panel] [Network and Internet] [Network and Sharing
Center] [Change adaptor settings] [Ethernet] [Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP)]
[Properties]

(3) Launch any web browser (Eg. Internet Explorer). Input the Repeaters default IP Address as
192.168.0.254. When prompted for Username/Password, input the default Username=admin
and Password=admin.

(4) Select [Quick Setup] and click on [Next]. Select the option as [Repeater]. Click on [Next].

(5) Select [Survey] and choose your Wireless Router SSID (auto-detected). Click on [Connect].

(6) Input the addition network information as follows and click on [Next]. Reboot the Repeater.

Input the Router Password

(7) On your computer, change the [Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)] to its original setting.

(8) Unplug the network cable from the Repeater and plug it into the Printers network port.

(9) Reboot the Printer and the Printer is now on the wireless network. Proceed with the Printer Driver
installation as usual.
