Touch Football League

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DIVISION
Eligibility: 4th and 5th grade boys who live in Rockville Centre or attend RVC Schools

Season: Games are played on Wednesday or Friday afternoons either 4:00pm or 4:45pm start time
First game on Sept. 20 or (St. Agnes only) Sept. 22
Recreation staff referees will guide players for a safe an enjoyable game.

Location: All games played at Veterans Park (located behind the Rec. Center - east of Tennis Courts)

Equipment: All players must supply and use a mouth guard. No cleats or spiked shoes, sneakers only.
Mouth Guards may be purchased at the Recreation Center Main Office for $2

Fee: $25 per player, plus a valid recreation card $24

Note: Rec. membership card is included in Summer Playground or Summer Rec. Program

BASIC RULES: One hand touch.

Ball is advanced by running or passing plays.
First down is earned by surpassing the first down line within four (4) downs.
NO TACKLING - PASSIVE BLOCKING ONLY.

ANY UNNECESSARY ROUGHNESS WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION

IMPORTANT NOTE:
I certify that I have read and understand the above notification and that all registrants in my family are in good health and capable of participating in the
recreational activity for which I am registering. The Village of Rockville Centres Recreation Dept. recognizes its obligation to make our members aware of
the risks and hazards associated with such activity. Participants may suffer injuries, possibly minor, serious or catastrophic in nature. By its very nature,
physical activities carry a risk of physical injury and this risk cannot be eliminated. Parents should encourage their children to follow all the safety rules and
the leaders instructions. I give permission for the Recreation Dept., its staff members to take whatever emergency measures are judged necessary for the care
and protection of my child should I become unable. In case of a medical emergency I understand that my child may be treated by the local emergency
resources (police, rescue squad) if deemed necessary. I waive and release all rights and claims for damages that my child or I may have against the Village of
RVC or its representatives. With all the above in mind, and being fully aware of the risks and possibility of injury involved, I willingly choose to participate in
the program offered by the Recreation Dept. I am signing this waiver of liability, consenting and releasing the Village from all liability, claims and causes of
actions arising out of activities at the Rec. Dept.
