From the DVB-2042, the system drinking water main & branches lines of villas shall be flushed
thoroughly with fresh water to remove loose debris and other foreign materials that have entered
during construction and installation. ( Open DVB 2038, DVB-2040, DVB-2041, DVB-2043, DVB-
2044 to pass through the water).

Accumulated water is drained. ( In any cases there is 100% filled up water inside, drain
completely including the networks inside the villas )

While the system is draining, set up the Chlorination skid in DVB-2042 as the injection point
serving the Area 01 Villas.

Open DVB 2030, DVB-2029 (Zone 2), DVB-2026 (Zone 1), DVB-2028 (Zone 5), DVB-2063
(Zone 3), DVB-2044 (Zone 4)

Set up the hose of the water tanker in the Chemical Tank of the Chlorination Skid

Wearing PPE, slowly fill the chemical tank with the initial 100 kg of Berkobio 369. At the same
time adding fresh water from the water tanker at the same flow rate 1 liter/min ( Make sure the

injection line valve is open and the discharge valve after the transfer pump of the Chlorination
Skid )

Continue injection until the initial 100 kg is finished.

Once finished, Continue filling fresh water with chlorine injection pump to pressurize the
system until 2 bars, 50% filled up system lines.

After 2 bar is reached, again inject the remaining 100 kg Berkobio 369 same time adding
fresh water continuously.

Once the solution is injected, supply with fresh water to pressure the system. While doing this,
open the Drinking water faucets in end point of villas in each zone. This to make sure the
chlorinated solution will reach the end point in all villas.

During this period, M/s. Wetico Service Engineer will go to the drinking water faucets of end
villas in each zone to conduct chlorine test to confirm if the chlorine have reached.

Once confirmed that the all chlorinated solution is in the system. Drinking water faucets will be
closed. And continue pressurizing the lines until 4 bars, 100% completely filled.

WETICO Service engineer will now conduct Chlorine test to check the concentration of the
chlorine in end villas of each zone.

The chlorine residual should 100 ppm. Any villa found to have less than 100ppm
concentration, the lines shall be injected with additional required Berkobio 369 in the nearest
valve box. Relocate the Chlorine Skid equipment to the injection line. (Zone 1 DVB 2026,
Zone 2 DVB-2029, Zone 3 DVB-2063, Zone 4 DVB-2044, Zone 5 DVB-2028)

After checking all villas in Area 01 drinking water network has 100 ppm Chlorine
concentration, start retention time of 24 hrs.

After 24 hours, shall start for neutralization.

Wearing PPE, First check the residual Chlorine concentration in the system network.

Using sterilized sampling bottles, take samples at each discharge point inside the villa (drinking
water faucet)

Using Wetico Chlorine test kits, check for the residual chlorine.

After getting the residual Chlorine, calculate for the quantity of Berkoclean 553 to be used for
neutralization.

Make sure chemical tank of chlorination skid is cleaned and free of Berkobio 369. If still have
traces of chlorine, rinse with Berkoclean 553 solution @1% solution and final rinse of water.

From the injection point DVB 2042 fill the chemical tank with the required quantity of Berkoclean
553
(Note: At the worksheet above, the quantity of Berkoclean 553 is only estimated when the chlorine
residual is 50-70 ppm after 24hrs. retention time . This is based on the chlorination projects Wetico
carried out earlier. However actual quantity can be determined after getting the actual residual Chlorine
on-site )

Start injection of Berkoclean 553 with the required quantity in the DVB-2042 pressurizing the
system. At some point, drinking water faucets in end villas shall be opened for 5 10 minutes to
pull the neutralizing solution at the end to de-chlorinate the system.

After 10 minutes, closed all Drinking water faucets, and continue injecting the neutralizing solution
until finished.

Retention time for neutralization is at least 2hrs.

Wearing PPE, check the residual Chlorine concentration in the system network. It should be zero
ppm Chlorine.

Using sterilized sampling bottles, take samples at each discharge point (drinking water faucet)

Using Wetico Chlorine test kits, check for the residual chlorine. (If in case, there is >0ppm chlorine
detected. Inject additional required Berkoclean 553 at location where the chlorine is above 0ppm)

After all system is found to have zero ppm Chlorine flush out directly to drain line the waste
solution or neutralized solution shall be collected by a tanker. Place the suction pump in DVB-
2042.

Refill the system networks (main & branch) and all villas with fresh water. Open the
source from main lines passing the DVB-2042. Open all valve box DVB 2038, DVB-2040,
DVB-2041, DVB-2043, DVB-2044 to pass though all fresh water. Open also DVB 2030, DVB-
2029 (Zone 2), DVB-2026 (Zone 1), DVB-2028 (Zone 5), DVB-2063 (Zone 3), DVB-2044
(Zone 4)

While filling up, open the raw water faucets of all villas or end villas of each zone.

Wetico Service Engineer will make some test if neutralizing solution has totally discharge.
Presence of residual chlorine 0.5 ppm 1.5 ppm is an indicator that the system is disinfected

Wearing PPE, water samples will be taken using non-reactive sterilized sampling bottles by
random (villas at the end and beginning per zone).

Water samples collected are shipped to Subcontractor laboratory and Aramco accredited
laboratory within 24hrs. for analysis. Standard method of sampling Water for Microbiological
analysis is followed.

Subcontractor will submit the completion report along with bacteriological analysis results

The system maybe placed to service or standby.

5. Outline of Significant Hazards and controls

1. Slips, trips and falls
