Este ibro de ejercicios, el primero de una serie de cuatro que complementan nuestra obra Gramtica
Inglesa Bsica, se realiz con la Licencia para Investigacin (proyecto titulado, "Investigacin para combatir la
masificacin y el desnivel lingstico de los alumnos de ingls") concedida a la autora por el Ministerio de
Educacin y Ciencia.
Los captulos tanto de ste como de los siguientes niveles, se corresponden aproximadamente con los
de la citada obra, lo que oportunamente indicamos en el ndice. Naturalmente, la correspondencia no puede ser
total debido a que la obra abarca los contenidos de los cuatro aos de ingls de la enseanzan secundaria y existen
en ella captulos o aspectos que no se dan en los primeros cursos y por tanto, no proceda incluir ejercicios de
ellos a esos niveles. Recprocamente, en los libros de ejercicios de Tercero y COU tampoco pareca necesario
insistir en ejercicios suficientemente trabajados en los cursos anteriores.
Las soluciones a los ejercicios de los cuatros libros, y algunas orientaciones, aparecen en una sola
publicacin que esperamos facilite su labor a los profesores a quienes, una vez ms, agradecemos de antemano
sus valiosas sugerencias y la atencin que dispensen a este nuevo trabajo de la Profesora Parkinson.
