Dear General
RE: REQUEST FOR DONATION OF MATTRESSES AND BEDS
The school management of Putuavanga Senior Secondary School, would like to thank the government of the
Republic of Namibia for recognising our school to host the SADC Air Force through Operation Blue Kunene. We
are equally delighted and thankful that Ministry of Defence assisted our school hostel with minor renovation in
the kitchen and one of the girls blocks.
The Principal and his entire staff would like to attest that Operation Blue Kunene was infact a resounding
success as our people witnessed how the defence officials helped with providing medical services and foodstuff
to our people around the mountainous Kunene Region.
Putuavanga Secondary School is the only Senior Secondary School that accommodate close to 600 learners
every year from previously disadvantaged Namibian groups such as Ovatue, Ovahimba, Dhimba. We are
experiencing the shortage of mattresses and beds for hostel learners for the past 9 years now.
Therefore, we are pleading and requesting your good office to donate/assist us with mattresses and beds after
Operation Blue Kunene is done.
Thanks in advanced and hope to hear a response as soon as you can.
Regards
Mr Uatokuja MK
