LESSON REFLECTION:
This lesson went smoothly, and there were no problems. I was able to read the book to my
student and ask her questions. I learned that there is only so much I can do ahead before I see my
student on Wednesdays. The only difficult part for me is coming up with questions to ask my
student while I am reading to her. This is because I ask questions when I notice her looking
closely at a word. In the future, I will have to think about every page in the book when I am
looking for questions to ask. I love how Maritza was able to keep our students attention and help
her brainstorm ideas. I love doing lesson plans with a partner because it is a fun and positive
environment. I would change how we presented the lesson in the beginning. I would introduce
PERSONAL REFLECTION:
I enjoyed this lesson plan. I need to improve on speaking louder because I noticed my partner and our
student struggling to hear me at certain points in the book. This is something I have struggled with since I
was younger, but I am working on it. I also need to work on having a fun conversation with Eryn because
