Senior Class Council Chair Descriptions

The following positions available are: Media/Web Master, Marketing, and Design Chair
No pay
Benefits:
o Sitting on stage during Commencement
o VIP tickets for family/friends for Commencement
o Discounts on class apparel/merchandise
Minimum time commitment during fall semester, picks up in spring semester
Expected to attend 80% SCC Events including:
o Senior Week Events
o Senior Formal
o Commencement
o General Meetings
o Leadership Team Meetings

Media/Web Master

Establishes and maintains a clear and easy to understand club & apparel website,
including keeping the website up to date with news and updates.

Create at least one innovative project using technology to increase Senior Class
cohesion

Establishes and maintains easy to understand social media relations

Marketing Chair

Researches and brainstorms possible marketing strategies to use to increase

awareness and turnout of SCC events.

Publicizes club events per directions of the Cabinet

Publicity duties may include:

o Flyering

o Establishing tabling on Sproul

 o Producing/distributing posters for the purpose of advertising the Senior Class
Council (on tables)

Organizes and selects Marketing Committee

Chairs the marketing committee and presides over meetings

Design Chair

Oversees and assists in the drafting and creation of different designs for the Senior
Class Council

o These may include:

Flyers

Posters

Apparel

Commencement Banner

Social Media Cover Photos/Banners

Works together with Media/Web Master to improve quality of SCC websites

Chairs the design committee and presides over meetings
