Long Term Evolution (4G) mobile phone systems and networks

Abstract
abstract (italic font, 200 words in length);

Cellular mobile networks have been evolving for many years. Several cellular systems and networks have
been developed and deployed worldwide to provide the end user with quality and reliable communication
over the air. Mobile technologies from the first to third generation have been quickly evolving to meet the
need of services for voice, video, and data. Today, the transition to smartphones has steered the users
interest toward a more mobile-based range of applications and services, increasing the demand for more
network capacity and bandwidth..
LTE is an abbreviation for Long Term Evolution. LTE is a 4G wireless communications standard
developed by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) that's designed to provide up to 10x the
speeds of 3G networks for mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, netbooks, notebooks and wireless
hotspots.
4G systems and relevant advanced features have the capabilities to keep up with todays widespread use
of mobile-communication devices, providing a range of mobile services and quality communications.
