In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Preface

The material in this document is the culmination of years of debate with Christians, attendance of
various dawah training workshops and watching hundreds of online videos from the worlds most
renowned daees. All of these arguments/techniques have been tried and tested in the field of
dawah, over a period of many years, with Christians of varying knowledge, sects and ages. In short,
only those arguments/techniques that have been found to be effective and difficult to refute have
been included.

I have endeavoured not to include any supporting Biblical quotes which have been taken out of
context. I hate it when non-Muslims do this with the Quran and therefore do not wish to be a
hypocrite. If anyone, Christian or otherwise, can prove to me that anything in here is completely
mistranslated, out of context or distorted then I shall remove it without hesitation. If, however, the
verse is reasonably open to interpretation then that is fair game.

What is the Bible?

The word Bible comes from the Koine Greek ta biblia meaning "the books". The Bible is divided into
two parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament represents the books that
the Jews believe to be their revelation from God and are also acknowledged as such by the
Christians. These books consist of a mixture of the Law revealed to Moses, history of the Israelites,
wisdom and prophesy. The New Testament represents the books that the Christians believe to be
their revelation from God which represent the continuation and fulfilment of the Old Testament.
They consist of various Gospels which are believed to be the personal accounts of the life and
teachings of Jesus by his close disciples (Mark, Matthew, Luke and John). There are also various
writings by Paul, one of the earliest Christian Missionaries. His writings form a considerable portion
of the New Testament and have shaped many of the beliefs and practices of the Church.

What is Christianity?

Although not all Christian sects adhere to the same doctrines, they do share the following common
beliefs which represent the essence of Christianity:

Sin crept into the world when Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree. As a consequence, every
human being from the moment of birth is tainted with this sin. Sin takes us away from God so it can't
just be forgiven by God because He is too holy to have any fellowship with sin. God, out of his love
for mankind, sent a saviour as a means of cleansing us of our sins. This saviour is Jesus, Gods only
divine son. His death by crucifixion redeems us before God because he is the sacrificial lamb whose
sinless blood being spilt washed away our sins. They believe that we have to accept Jesus as our
saviour for his sacrifice to count in our favour and make us deserving of the kingdom of heaven.

What are the Christian doctrines that should be tackled when giving dawah?

From the above summary of Christianity we can derive the following doctrines:

1. Divinity of Jesus.
2. Original sin.

3. The Crucifixion.

4. Faith alone earns you salvation.

Do we have to tackle every doctrine with every Christian we meet, or can we prioritise them? The
answer is that they can be prioritised because doctrine 1 is clearly the biggest obstacle to Tawhid, the
essence of Islam, and so is a logical starting point. Also, there is clear dependency between the
different doctrines:

As can be seen above, doctrine 4 depends on doctrine 3 because the crucifixion is the only means by
which Christians achieve salvation. Doctrine 3 depends on 1 and 2 because without the disease of
Original Sin there is no need for the cure of the crucifixion, and without the divinity of Jesus there is
no fitting sacrifice to accomplish the crucifixion. Doctrines 1 and 2 have no dependency. From this we
can deduce that one should focus on doctrines 1 and 2, because dispelling these automatically
dispels doctrines 3 and 4. By adopting this approach you are putting Tawhid at the forefront of your
dawah efforts and also reaping maximum benefit by exerting minimum effort.

The above doctrines are 100% incompatible with Islam. Dispelling them one by one will insha'Allah
take the person away from Christianity and closer to the true teachings of Jesus, thereby bringing
them closer to Islam. My general tactic is as follows:

A Christian might make a reference to one of the doctrines. I use the following four techniques to
refute the doctrine:

Q uran use verses from the Quran.

A uthenticity demonstrate why the authenticity of the Bible is questionable.
L ogic use logical arguments/questions from outside the Quran and Bible.
B ible use verses from the Bible.
In this document I will apply these four techniques to each of the false Christian doctrines. An easy
way to remember the four techniques is to memorise the abbreviation QALB, the Arabic word for
heart. Note that the 2nd technique, Authenticity, is the same for all doctrines and will therefore be
found in Appendix A. The remaining techniques (Quran, Logic and Bible) must each be tailored to the
specific doctrines.

How does one know which techniques to adopt for any given situation? Like any tool, if theyre
applied incorrectly they can do more harm than good. Unfortunately there is no short cut to
becoming proficient with these techniques, like any skill they require practice. Al-hamdulillah though,
as a starting point you can follow these general guidelines for each technique:

Quran this should always be your first port of call. As Allah says in the Quran, Every time
they come to you with an argument, We bring you the truth and the best of explanations.
[25:33]. The only issue one may run into is a Christian that refuses to accept anything from
the Quran, because they dont yet acknowledge it as a book of God. Youre now forced to use
the remaining techniques.

Authenticity this is a very powerful, as you can use it to prove that the Christian religious
sources (New Testament, Old Testament, Church dogma etc) are of dubious authenticity.
Convince them of this and you now have a means of dismantling any argument of theirs by
pointing out that their sources are not reliable, therefore neither you nor they should accept
it as a means of guidance. Dont just criticise the Bible, also point out why the Quran is
superior in this regard as it is the only ancient religious text that stands up against textual
criticism. Be careful with this technique however, as it may cause offence if they are of a
fragile disposition or easily offended.

Logic the human being is a logically thinking creation of Allah, so this is a universal
technique that can be used with anyone (one would hope!). Its very surprising how many
individuals act and think logically in all facets of life except when it comes to religion, so this
technique can bring a fresh perspective for an individual that has never made use of their
logical faculties in their religion.

Bible since theyre Christian there should be no problems accepting the Bible as a source
for discussion. A minority may not like you using their own book against them, however
point out that you do not take verses out of context and only use those that are reasonably
open to interpretation. There can be more than one meaning to verses of the Bible, as
testified by the plethora of denominations within Christianity which have sprung up as a
result of differing interpretations, and they as an individual or specific sect dont have a
monopoly in this regard.

Throughout this document, for each doctrine I include a section entitled Potential rebuttal by
Christians. Here I list the most common arguments put forward by Christians in order to support the
false doctrine. I then provide responses in blue so that you can counter their arguments.

Remember that the golden rule is to always bring the discussion, whatever the topic, back to Islamic
Tawhid. Our aim is not to destroy their faith in religion altogether but rather to bring them closer to
the straight path, insha'Allah.
How not to give dawah to Christians

Before diving into detail about how to give dawah to Christians, I think its important to spend some
time covering how not to give dawah to Christians. So lets start with some basic etiquette:

1. Dont take verses of the Bible out of context.

As an example, many Muslims claim this is proof of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Bible because
this verse contains a word which sounds like Muhammad:

His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely [Hebrew: Machmaddim]. This is my
beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem. [Songs of Solomon 5:16]

When you read the earlier verses in the same chapter you quickly realise the proper context, its
poetry about two lovers and nothing to do with the prophet. It just so happens that the Hebrew
word Machmaddim sounds like the name Muhammad:

I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice. I have
eaten my honeycomb and my honey; I have drunk my wine and my milk

I slept but my heart was awake. Listen! My beloved is knocking

My beloved thrust his hand through the latch-opening; my heart began to pound for him

His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely [Hebrew: Machmaddim]. This is my
beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

In fact the Christians can play the same game with the Quran. This verse is commonly taken out of
context to prove that the Quran commands Muslims to kill all non-Muslims:

And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and
persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they
fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the
unbelievers. [2:191]

2. Dont take the metaphorical Biblical verses literally.

As an example, many Muslims claim that this verse is proof that the Bible states that the world is flat:

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world
and their splendor. [Matthew 4:8]

In fact the Christians can play the same game with the Quran. This verse is commonly interpreted in a
literal sense to prove that the Quran is unscientific because it states that the sun sets in a muddy
spring inside the earth:

They will ask thee of Dhu'l-Qarneyn. Say: I shall recite unto you a remembrance of him. Lo! We
made him strong in the land and gave him unto every thing a road. And he followed a road Till,
when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring, and found a
people thereabout. We said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness. [18:83-86]

The verse is obviously not literal, it is describing what Dhu'l-Qarneyn saw from his own point of view,
much like what we would see if we were to go to the beach at dusk and observe the sun setting into
the sea on the horizon. It doesnt say the sun sets in a muddy spring, rather he found it setting in a
muddy spring, notice the multiple use of the personal pronoun he in the verse.

3. Dont claim that the Bible contains scientific errors without proper research.

As an example, many Muslims have long ridiculed the science of Biblical creation. In the following
verses, how could there be light before the stars (sun, moon, etc) were created:

And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. [Genesis 1:3]

And God said, Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let
them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years [Genesis 1:14]

If we do just a bit of research we discover that many Christians use these same verses as proof of the
Big Bang theory being mentioned in the Bible, because at the point of the explosion of the Big Bang
there would be very bright light, followed by the formation of the stars.

4. Research all verses which relate to an issue before drawing conclusions about the issue.

For example, many Muslims mock the Bible because they believe it states that Jacob defeated God in
a wrestling match:

And he said, Thy name shall not henceforth be called Jacob, but Israel; for thou hast wrestled
with God, and with men, and hast prevailed. [Genesis 32:28]

This is not the case, as another verse clarifies that it was in fact an Angel that he wrestled:

In the womb he took his brother by the heel, and in his maturity he contended with God.
Yes, he wrestled with the angel and prevailed [Hosea 12:3-4]

As ridiculous as the concept of a human wrestling an angel may seem to be, resist the urge to mock
as a similar concept exists in Islam:

The angel of death came to Musa and said to him: Respond to the order of your god! Musa
slapped the angel of death on his eye and gouged it [Bukhari, Muslim]

There are many reasons why I advise you not to commit any of the above acts. Its intellectually
dishonest and it can also harm your dawah, because you will quickly lose credibility with them if they
suspect you are committing these acts. It also weakens your own position because they can easily
play the same games against the Quran.
False doctrine #1 Divinity of Jesus.
Across all the different sects of Christianity, three general claims are made about the divinity of Jesus:

i. Jesus is God himself and should be worshipped as such,

ii. He is the literal Son of God but not worthy of worship,

iii. The Trinity.

Some of these concepts overlap within certain sects of Christianity however I will address them all
individually:

1.1 Jesus is God.

Technique #1 Quran.

"And behold! God will say [i.e. on the Day of Judgment]: 'Oh Jesus, the son of Mary! Did you say
unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of God?' He will say: 'Glory to Thee!
Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would indeed have
known it. You know what is in my heart, though I know not what is in Yours. For You know in full
all that is hidden. Never did I say to them anything except what You commanded me to say:
'Worship God, my Lord and your Lord.' And I was a witness over them while I lived among them.
When You took me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a witness to all things'"
[5:116-117].

The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before
him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make
clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded. [Quran 5:75].

Technique #2 Authenticity.

See Appendix A.

Technique #3 Logic.

Question if Jesus is God, then who is he worshipping in the Bible when he prays? Are you saying
that God is worshipping himself?

Question Why is it that Christians even amongst themselves dont unanimously agree that Jesus is
God? Some sects, like Jehovahs Witnesses, deny this fundamental pillar of Christianity and yet all
sects follow the same book. Contrast with Islamic Tawheed, no matter how deviant any Muslim sect
is, we all agree on this core pillar of Islam!

Technique #4 Bible.
Ask the Christian the following questions:

- Would you say that God is all powerful?

- Would you say that God has complete authority?

- Would you say that God is all knowing?

They will answer yes to all of the questions. Then give the following Biblical quotes by Jesus which
show he was none of the above:

- How can Jesus and God be one and the same when they have different wills - [John 5:30] -"... as I
hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father
which hath sent me.

- How can Jesus be God when his power comes from God - [John 5:30] -"I can of mine own self do
nothing... and [Acts 2:22] - Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested
to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs which God did through him in your midst,
as you yourselves know....
- [John 13:16] - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he
that is sent greater than he that sent him".

- [John 14:28] - " ...My father is greater than I".

- When asked when the Day of Judgement is - [Mark 13:32] - "No one knows about that day or hour,
not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father".

- He didn't know that a particular tree wasn't bearing fruit - [Matthew 21:18-19] Now in the
morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came
to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee
henceforward forever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

In fact throughout the Bible other people are referred to as being a god, it is purely metaphorical:

- [2 Corinthians 4:4] - "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which
believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine
unto them".

... here the devil is said to be the god of this world. No Christian would argue that the devil is God. So
why attribute that to Jesus? Moses is also referred to as a god:

- [Exodus 7:1] - "And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and
Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet".

As is Paul:

- [Act 28:6] Howbeit they looked when he (Paul) should have swollen, or fallen down dead
suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed
their minds, and said that he was a god.
The rebuttal sometimes used is that the Devil and Moses are called gods with a small 'g' and Jesus is
called God with a capital 'G'. Point out that in the Semitic languages (Hebrew, Arabic and Aramaic)
there is no such concept as capital letters.

Also point out the fact that he prayed to God. Why would God pray to himself:

- [Matthew 26:39] - "And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my
Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt".

And Jesus acknowledges that he has a God:

- [John 20:17] - Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go
instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and
your God.'"

And here he says the only true god is God almighty:

- [John 17:3] - "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus
Christ, whom thou hast sent".

Potential rebuttal by Christians:

a. [John 20:28]- Thomas kneels at his feet and says to Jesus my lord, my god.

They may use the above verse to support the notion of Jesus being God. Again the context is missing.
The context is that Thomas wasnt there when Jesus went to the upper room for the first time after
his apparent crucifixion (when he was proving to his disciples that he wasnt a spirit / spook). The
disciples told Thomas that they saw Jesus alive in the upper room. He didnt believe them (as he
wasnt there). However when Thomas eventually sees Jesus when he comes to the upper room for
the second time, Jesus tells him to come and feel him as proof hes still alive. Thomas then realises
this and responds with the above verse. And my lord, my god is not meant literally! It is meant in
the context when you are shocked or relieved and say thank god or my god.

b. [John 10:30]- I and my father are one.

They may use the above verse to support the notion of Jesus being God. They will say that this shows
that Jesus and God are one and the same. What it actually means is that they are one in purpose,
NOT one person or entity. Similar language is used in another part of the Bible:

[John 17:30] - "that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they
also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me".

Here Jesus is asking that his disciples be made one like him and the father. Note that the original
Greek word used for one is identical in both verses. Does this mean that the 13 disciples are one
person? Of course not, it's purely referring to them all being one in purpose!

Moreover, when the Jews accused him of claiming divinity based on that statement, Jesus himself
responded with:
- [John 10:34] - Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

He clarified for them, with a scriptural example well known to them, that he was using the
metaphorical language of the prophets which should not be interpreted as ascribing divinity to
himself or to other human beings.

c. Jesus had no father, so he must be God!

Well, Adam had neither father nor mother and Melchizekdek was "without father or mother or
genealogy, and has neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God"
[Hebrews 7:3].

d. Jesus accepted worship as God

They will quote a passage like the following in order to show that people worshipped Jesus as God
and he accepted it (or didnt reject it):

-[Matthew 28:17] - When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.

First, we have to understand what is meant by the word 'worship'. Often in the original manuscripts
the Greek word used for worship is proskyne'o. Ungers Bible Dictionary says that this word literally
means to kiss the hand of someone in token of reverence or to do homage. An Expository
Dictionary of New Testament Words, by W. E. Vine, says that this word denotes an act of reverence,
whether paid to man or to God. The context determines whether proskyne'o should be rendered
"revere" or "worship."

Consider the parable Jesus gave of the slave who was unable to repay a substantial sum of money to
his master. A form of this Greek word appears in this parable, and in translating it the King James
Version of the Bible says that the servant therefore fell down, and worshipped [form of
proskyne'o] him [the king], saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all [Matthew
18:26]. Was this man committing an idolatrous act? Not at all! He was merely expressing the kind of
reverence and respect due the king, his master and superior. Another example is that Jacob bowed
down seven times upon meeting his brother, Esau [Genesis 33:3], or when Josephs brothers
prostrated themselves, or did obeisance, before him in honour of his position at the Egyptian court
[Genesis 42:6]. Clearly, then, the word proskyne'o, rendered worship in some Bible translations,
is not reserved exclusively for the type of adoration due to God. It can also refer to the respect and
honour shown to another person.

Moreover, if it can be shown that Jesus explicitly told people to worship God alone then it nullifies
any of the above linguistic disagreements:

-[John 4:21-24] - Jesus declared, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the
Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know;
we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now
come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of
worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

Here Jesus is telling a non-Christian that what she currently worships is a false deity and that in order
to be a true worshiper she needs to worship the thing that Jesus worships, God almighty.
He also tells the Devil (as a response to being invited to worship the Devil):

-[Luke 3:8] - And Jesus answered him, It is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him
only shall you serve.

e. The miracles of Jesus prove he was divine

Remember that he gets his miracles from God:

-[Acts 2:22] - Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God
with mighty works and wonders and signs which God did through him in your midst, as you
yourselves know....

Add to that the fact that other prophets performed miracles, a lot of which were identical to the
miracles of Jesus:

Jesus raised the dead. Elijah did the same (I Kings 17:22). So did Elisha
(II Kings 4:34). Even Elishas bones could restore the
dead (II Kings 13:21).
Jesus caused the blind to see. Elisha caused the blind to see (II Kings 6:17&20).

Jesus healed lepers. Elisha cured Naaman the leper (II Kings 5:14).

Jesus fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread Elisha fed 100 people with twenty barley loaves and a
and two fishes. few ears of corn (II Kings 4:44)

f. Jesus existence predates his birth on earth

They may quote and interpret the following verse to mean that Jesus existed before his birth on
earth therefore proving that Jesus was divine:

- [John 8:58] - Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am.

This does not prove that Jesus was divine, because the concept of the pre-existence of the prophets,
and of man in general, exists in the Old Testament:

- [The Book of Jeremiah 1:4-5] Now the word of the Lord came to me saying, Before I formed you
in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet
to the nations.

- Prophet Solomon says [Proverbs 8:23-27] - Ages ago I was set up at the first, before the beginning
of the earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no springs
abounding with water, Before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills, I was brought
forth; before he had made the earth with its fields, or the first of the dust of the world When he
established the heavens, I was there.

g. Jesus has the father in him

They may use this verse to prove that Jesus is God because it was his response to being asked to
show them God:

- [John 14:11] - "Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least
believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves".

These phrases would imply Jesus divinity, but only if the remainder of the same Gospel is ignored.
Jesus goes on to say to his disciples:

- [John 14:20] - "In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

Thus, if Jesus statement I am in the Father and the Father is in me means that he is God, then so
were his disciples. This symbolic statement means oneness of purpose and not oneness of essence.

h. "I am the Way"

-[John 14:6] - "... I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except
through me".

They interpret the above verse to mean that Jesus is God and that no one shall enter into heaven
except if they worship Jesus. This is not the case, as the full context of this statement is given just a
few verses earlier:

- [John 14:2] - "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am
going there to prepare a place for you".

He said that in God's mansion there are "many" rooms. Jesus was sent to guide to only one of them.
The countless other rooms were reserved for other tribes and nations if they would obey their
messengers. However, Jesus was telling his followers that they need not worry themselves about the
other rooms. Anyone from among his people who wished to enter into the room which was reserved
for them could only do so if they followed Jesus and obeyed his command. So Jesus confirmed that
he was going to prepare "a" mansion and not "all" the mansions in "my Father's house". Further, the
verse clearly states that Jesus was the "WAY" to a mansion. He did not say that he is the
"DESTINATION" which would be the case if he were God. This is indeed confirmed in John 10:9 where
Jesus tells us that he is "the door" to "the pasture."

i. Jesus was sinless so he must be God

They will quote the following verse to show Jesus was sinless:

-[John 8:46] Can any of you prove me guilty of sin?

The preceding verse gives the full context:

-[John 8:45-46] Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me
guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me?

In short Jesus was telling the Pharisees to believe his claims because they could not provide any
evidence of him being guilty of lying in the past. Hes not referring to all sins, just the sin of lying!
j. In the beginning was the Word

Perhaps the most commonly quoted evidence for Jesus divinity is the following:

- [John 1:1] - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God.

There is a certain level of deception in this translation. The Greek word for God used in the phrase
and the Word was with God, is the definite form 'ton theos', meaning The God. However, in the
second phrase and the Word was God, the Greek word used for God is the indefinite form 'theos',
which means a god. Consequently, John 1:1 should more accurately be translated:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.

If we look at some different verses, 2 Corinthians 4:4 and Act 28:6, we find the exact same word
(theos) that was used in John 1:1 to describe Jesus is now used to describe Satan and Paul. However,
now the system of translation has been changed:

- [2 Corinthians 4:4] - "the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe
not."

- [Act 28:6] Howbeit they looked when he (Paul) should have swollen, or fallen down dead
suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed
their minds, and said that he was a god.

This exposes inconsistency in the translation of the Greek word theos. Jesus, Satan and Paul are all
referred to as theos, however only the reference to Jesus has been translated as God. The Greek
used for all is the indefinite article and should therefore be translated as "a god" for all of them. We
are now starting to get a glimpse of how the "translation" of the Bible took place.

Furthermore, in Biblical language, the term god is used metaphorically to indicate power:

- [Psalms 82:6:] - "I have said, Ye (the Jews) are gods; and all of you are children of the most High"

- [Exodus 7:1] - "And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made you a god to Pharaoh"

- [2 Corinthians 4:4] - "the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe
not."

In the West, it is common when one wishes to praise someone to say "You are a prince," or "You are
an angel", etc. When someone says this do they mean that that person is the son of the King of
England, or a spiritual being? There is a very slight grammatical difference between saying "You are a
prince" and "You are THE prince," however the difference in meaning is quite dramatic.

1.2 Jesus is the Son of God.

Technique #1 Quran.
They said, "The Most Gracious has begotten a son"! You have uttered a gross blasphemy. The
heavens are about to shatter, the earth is about to tear asunder, and the mountains are about to
crumble. Because they claim that the Most Gracious has begotten a son. It is not befitting the Most
Gracious that He should beget a son. Every single one in the heavens and the earth is a servant of
the Most Gracious. He has encompassed them, and has counted them one by one. All of them will
come before Him on the Day of Resurrection as individuals. [19:88-95].

"He [Jesus] said: 'I am indeed a servant of God. He has given me revelation and made me a
prophet; He has made me blessed wheresoever I be; and He has enjoined on me prayer and
charity as long as I live. He has made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable. So
peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life
(again)!' Such was Jesus the son of Mary. It is a statement of truth, about which they (vainly)
dispute. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) God that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him!
When He determines a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is" [19:30-35].

"Certainly they disbelieve who say: "Surely Allah He is the Messiah, son of Maryam". Say: "Who
then could control any thing as against Allah when He wished to destroy the Messiah, son of
Maryam and his mother and all those on the earth?" And Allahs is the kingdom of the heavens
and the earth and what is between them; He creates what He pleases; and Allah has power over
all things." [5:17].

Technique #2 Authenticity.

See Appendix A.

Technique #3 Logic.

Question the Bible teaches that there were thousands of years between the creation of Adam and
the sending of Jesus, during which time God sent numerous prophets. Why did God bother to send
his son thousands of years later, this seems very inconsistent, why not just send him in the
beginning? Doesnt it make more sense that Jesus is just one prophet in a long line of prophets?

Technique #4 Bible.

Angels are also referred to as sons of God:

- [Job 1:6] - "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the
LORD, and Satan came also among them".

Adam is called a son of God:

- [Luke 3:38] - "Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam,
which was the son of God".
In fact just about any pious person is a son of God:

- [Romans 8:14] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Jesus calls all peace makers the children of God:

- [Matthew 5:9] - "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God".

Here Jesus tells us that we all have the same father:

- [John 20:17] - Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go
instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and
your God.'"

It should also be noted that nowhere in the Gospels does Jesus actually call himself Son of God.
Instead, he is recorded to have repeatedly called himself Son of man (e.g. Luke 9:22) innumerable
times.

The only rational conclusion from all of the above verses is that the term "son of God" is a title which
means "righteous person" or "holy man" of God, it does not literally mean God's one and only son.

Potential rebuttal by Christians:

a. Jesus is the only begotten son of God

They may quote the following verse to prove he is unique because he is the only begotten son of
God:

- [John 3:16] - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Often Muslims use the following two verses to respond to Christians in order to prove that Jesus isnt
the only begotten son of God in the Bible:

- [Psalm 2:7] - "I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day
have I begotten thee".

- [Exodus 4:22] - "And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my
firstborn".

The first verse does not refer to David according to the NT but rather Jesus:

[Act 13:33] God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus
again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

Therefore it is better not to use this as a rebuttal just in case the Christian catches you out. Similarly,
the second verse does not refer to Jacob (as is often interpreted by Muslims) but rather it is a
metaphor referring to the nation of Israel.
A better rebuttal is as follows. Point out the implications of the word begotten by explaining its
dictionary definition:

Adj. 1. begotten - (of offspring) generated by procreation; "naturally begotten child".

Therefore the implication of the word begotten, audhu billah, is that God procreated with Mary in
order to bring about Jesus. If they have any sense of shame they will realise that the word begotten
is wrong, and admit that Jesus was not begotten. In which case Jesus is now just a non-begotten son
of God, like many other sons of God in the Bible, meaning hes righteous before God which we as
Muslims can agree with as all prophets are righteous before God.

If they stubbornly insist that the word begotten is correct then you can dive into the original Greek
word that begotten was translated from. This word is monogenes, which literally means "one kind",
mono (one) and genes (kind)...or more appropriately, "only kind" or "unique". Monogenes does not
accurately mean "only begotten", nor does it mean "born" or "only born". If this were the case, then
Abraham's monogenes son Isaac in Hebrews 11:17 would mean that Abraham had only one-
begotten son, Isaac:

[Hebrews 11:17] By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had
received the promises offered up his only begotten [son].

Yet Isaac was not the only son of Abraham, he also had Ishmael, so if we take the meaning of
monogenes as begotten then we have a contradiction. However, Isaac was Abraham's "unique"
son, the son of the promise. So, the correct way to translate John 3:16 is as follows:

[John 3:16] - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his unique Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

This is the correct translation which we Muslims have no problem accepting, because Jesus as a
prophet was most definitely unique in many senses, such as the fact that he had a mother but no
father and that hes the only prophet coming back to this world just before the Day of Judgement.

1.3 The Trinity.

The concept of the Trinity is that God is made up of three parts (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) which
are all equal and in one substance.

Technique #1 Quran.
"and say not, "Three". Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one God; far be it from His glory
that He should have a son; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; and Allah
is sufficient for a Protector." [4:171].

"Certainly they disbelieve who say: "Surely Allah is the third (Person) of the three"; and there is no
god but One God,. The Messiah, son of Maryam is but an apostle; apostles before him have
indeed passed away; and his mother was a truthful woman, they both used to eat food. See how
We make the signs clear to them, then behold how they are turned away." [5:73-75].

Technique #2 Authenticity.

See Appendix A.

Technique #3 Logic.

Question why would God support a trinity concept that no one can fully understand or explain, and
then make your salvation in the hereafter dependent on accepting that concept? Contrast this with
Islamic tawheed, which even a child can understand and is the basis of our success in the hereafter.

Note that the concept of a Trinity is not unique to Christianity, in fact one of the most common
beliefs among ancient Pagan cultures (some of which predate Christianity by many hundreds of
years) was that of a trinity of gods. We find this among the following ancient cultures:

Egyptians (gods Osiris, Isis, Horus)

Hinduism (gods Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva)

Babylonians (gods Nimrod, Semiramas, Tammuz)

Greeks (gods Zeus, Athena, Apollo)

Sumerians (Anu, Enlil, Enki)

Romans (gods Jupiter, Juno, Minerva)

Although all these religions had many minor deities, they distinctly acknowledged that there was one
supreme God who consisted of three persons or essences.

They may also try to use analogies to explain the unexplainable. The most common ones are:

- The Trinity is like an egg. There are three main parts of an egg that make up the whole egg, namely
the shell, the white and the yolk. But the shell is NOT the egg, it's only a third of the egg, but it's not
the whole egg. Hence the analogy is false, because the Trinity states that Jesus is God, etc.
- The Trinity is compared to water as ice, liquid, and steam. Liquid water, ice and steam are different
in nature; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are identical in nature. Also liquid turns into ice and steam.
Father, Son, and Spirit do not turn into each other. Hence the analogy is false.

- The Trinity is like a man, who is simultaneously a son, a husband, and a father. But in this illustration
we have only one person. Also, a man can become a brother or an uncle. Do we then have 4 or 5
parts to God?

- The Trinity is like an apple. There are three distinct parts: skin, pulp, and core, but only one apple.
This is like the analogy of the egg.

- A human being is like Trinity in microcosm, with a body, soul, and spirit. Again, this is like the
analogy of the egg.

There are no analogies that you can use for the Trinity, because the Trinity makes no sense.

Technique #4 Bible.

- [John 14:28]- " ...My father is greater than I".

If they are equal why would one part pray to another, this indicates subservience. Also, why would
they have different wills:

- [Matthew 26:39] - "And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my
Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt".

Why would one part abandon another:

- [Matthew 27:46] - "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama
sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?".

In fact the term Trinity is nowhere to be found in the Bible, it is an alien concept that has been
imposed by the Church (see Appendix B, section Modern Christianity has Pagan Roots, for more
information about this).

Potential rebuttal by Christians:

They may say that this is the verse which proves the concept of a Trinity in the Bible:

- [1st Epistle John 5:7]- "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the father, the word, and
the holy ghost: and these three are one".

This is in fact the closest that the Bible comes to the concept of a Trinity. However there is a problem:
this verse used to be in all Bibles, however the Revised Standard Version (RSV) took it out as a
fabrication in 1952! For more info see Appendix A, section A.5 Corruption of the Bible.
False doctrine #2 Original Sin.
This means that every human being is born in a state of sin. This sin can be traced back to Adam/Eve
when they were deceived by Satan into eating the forbidden fruit. This sin has since been passed
down to every descendent of Adam/Eve, so we are all stained by it.

Technique #1 Quran.

"Whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of his ownself. And whoever goes
astray, then he goes astray to his own loss. No one laden with burdens can bear anothers
burden"[Surah Al-Isra, verse 15].

"And no bearer of burdens shall bear anothers burden, and if one heavily laden calls another to
(bear) his load, nothing of it will be lifted even though he be near of kin" [Surah Fatir, verse 18].

Technique #2 Authenticity.

See Appendix A.

Technique #3 Logic.

Point out the absurdity of Original Sin:

Christianity stains you with sin for something you didn't do (sin committed by Adam/Eve) and
rewards you for something someone else did (Jesus sacrifice). It doesn't make any sense!

Technique #4 Bible.

These verses show that everyone will be held accountable for their own deeds, just like Islam:

- [Ezekiel 18:20] - "The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the
father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall
be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him".

- [Ezekiel 33:20] - "Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you
every one after his ways".

- [Deuteronomy 24:16] - "The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the
children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin".

- [Romans 2:6] - "Who will render to every man according to his deeds".

Children are born innocent and of the Kingdom of God, not tainted by Original Sin:
- [Matthew 19:14] - "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me:
for of such is the kingdom of heaven".

If children were born with sin then he wouldn't have said they are of the kingdom of heaven. In other
words children are pure.

False doctrine #3 The Crucifixion.

Christians believe that Jesus, being pure and sinless, had to be sacrificed to cleanse/redeem mankind
of our sins so that we can enter the kingdom of heaven. The means of sacrifice was crucifixion, a
painful and humiliating death. This elaborate sacrifice was necessary to pay the price of our sins
because God is incapable of forgiving sins.

Technique #1 Quran.

And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of
Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of Jesus was put over
another man, and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge,
they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not. But Allah raised him up unto
Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise. [4:157-158].

"Say: O My servants who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and
sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving,
Most Merciful. And turn in repentance and in obedience with true faith to your Lord and submit to
Him." [39:53-54].

Technique #2 Authenticity.

See Appendix A.

Technique #3 Logic.

Question why would God, the most just and merciful, torture and kill an innocent party for the sins
of the guilty?

Point out the absurdity of the Crucifixion:

Christianity stains you with sin for something you didn't do (sin committed by Adam/Eve) and
rewards you for something someone else did (Jesus sacrifice). It doesn't make any sense!

Also point out the logical fallacy of the Crucifixion:

You claim that Jesus, a uniquely sinless individual, is the only one that can wash away the sin of
mankind. Consider, the very act of crucifying an innocent person is a sin, so how can the Crucifixion
wash away our sins? Sin cant wash away sin! Only repentance and the forgiveness of God can
wash away sin.

Technique #4 Bible.

Here God says sincere repentance is all that is required to be forgiven for sins:

-[Ezekiel 18:21] - "But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all
my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die".

-[2 Chronicles 7:14] - "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and
pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will
forgive their sin, and will heal their land".

And here He says good deeds are better than sacrifice:

-[Samuel 15:22] - "And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and
sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to
hearken than the fat of rams".

And here it says that God can forgive sins if a person forgives the sins of another:

-[Mark 11:25-26] And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your
Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither
will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

The fact is that Jesus did not want to be crucified:

-[Matthew 26:39] - "And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my
Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt".

This is further proved by the different precautions he took so that he would not be arrested:

1. Jesus orders his disciples to acquire swords to protect himself:

- [Luke 22:35-36] - "When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye anything?" And
they said, "Nothing" Then said he unto them, "But now, he that hath no purse, let him take it, and
likewise his bag; and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one!"

2. His disciples acquire two swords:

- [Luke 22:38] - ". . . Lord, behold, here are two swords." And he said unto them, "It is enough".

3. He commands his disciples to take up tactical positions in the garden of Gethsemane. He deploys 8
of the 11 disciples at the gates of Gethsemane, commanding them:
- [Matthew 26:36] - "... Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder."

4. Jesus then takes the strongest of his men (Peter, John and James) further into the Garden. For
them all to pray? No, to make an inner line of defence he had put eight at the gate, and those with
him are told to "wait and watch" in other words to keep guard:

- [Matthew 26:37-38] - "And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee... Then saith he
unto them... tarry ye here and watch with me.

5. Now, all possible earthly preparation has been done by Jesus. It is now time to supplicate to God
and ask for his assistance:

- [Matthew 26:39] - Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My
Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.

It is very clear from this verse that Jesus had no intention of dying. In this verse it is shown that Jesus
was praying strongly (Matthew mentions that Jesus repeated the prayer three times) to have this
death removed from him. Had Jesus Christ been sent to be crucified he would not have hesitated to
be killed at all.

Potential rebuttal by Christians:

The only possible rebuttal they can give is that the hesitation comes from the human flesh side of
him (in other words he was tempted), and that his soul which is godly does not have this hesitation
at all.

Actually this is not the case, as Jesus says:

-[Matthew 26:38] - "My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death".

He himself says that it really his soul that is hesitating and not his body. These are Jesus' own words.

False doctrine #4 Faith Alone Earns you Salvation.

Apparently faith alone is enough to earn a Christian salvation in the hereafter.

Technique #1 Quran.

And strive hard in the Way of God, such a striving as is due to Him! [22:78].

"To those who believe and do deeds of righteousness hath Allah promised forgiveness and a great
reward" [5:9].

Technique #2 Authenticity.

See Appendix A.
Technique #3 Logic.

Not applicable.

Technique #4 Bible.

Jesus said:

- [Matthew 5:20] - "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the
righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven".

Which is backed up by what the disciple James said:

- [James 2:19-20] - "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe,
and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?".

- [James 2:24] - "Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only".

Appendix A Authenticity of the Bible.

The content for most of this section has been taken from the book The true message of Jesus Christ
by Sheikh Bilal Philips. As such all credit belongs to him and may Allah reward him for giving me
permission to use his material.

A.1 Authenticity of its manuscripts.

There are more than 5000 manuscripts which contain all or part of the New Testament. No two
agree on all particulars. In other words no single manuscript contains the original, unaltered text in
its entirety.

A.2 Different versions of the Bible.

These are just three examples of different versions:

- King James Version (KJV)

- Revised Standard Version (RSV)
- Roman Catholic Version (RCV)

These aren't differences in translation. The RSV has removed some verses which are found in the
KJV. The RCV has seven extra books which are not included in either the KJV or RSV.

A.3 Authorship of the Bible.

Old Testament.

The first five books of the OT are traditionally attributed to Moses. However, there are many verses
within these books which indicate that Moses could not possibly have written everything in them.
For example, Deuteronomy 34:5-8:

So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the
LORD. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man
knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he
died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. And the children of Israel wept for Moses
in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

It is quite obvious that someone else wrote these verses about Mose after he died. Scholars have
come to the conclusion that a great many of the authors of the books of the OT are unknown:

Judges Possibly Samuel

Ruth Perhaps Samuel

1st Samuel Unknown

2nd Samuel Unknown

1st Kings Unknown

2nd Kings Unknown

1st Chronicles Unknown

Esther Unknown

Job Unknown

Ecclesiastes Doubtful

Jonath Unknown

Malachi Nothing known

The above information can be found in the appendix entitled "Books of the Bible" of the Revised
Standard Version of the Bible.

New Testament.

Aramaic was the spoken language of the Jews of Palestine. Consequently, it is believed that Jesus and
his disciples spoke and taught Aramaic. The earliest oral tradition of Jesus' deeds and sayings
undoubtedly circulated in Aramaic. However, the four gospels were written in an entirely different
language, common Greek. Traces of Aramaic survive in the Greek gospels e.g. Mark 5:41 and Mark
15:34. The authors of the gospels are also in doubt, as all the gospels originally circulated
anonymously. Authoritative names were later assigned to them by unknown figures in the early
Church.

A.5 Corruption of the Bible.

1 John 5:7.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the father, the word, and the holy ghost: and
these three are one. [1 John 5:7]

This verse contains the only clear reference to the Trinity in the New Testament, and yet does not
appear in any manuscript before the year 1600. In other words it is a fabricated verse that was
inserted into the New Testament over 1500 years after Jesus.

This verse used to be in all Bibles, however the Revised Standard Version (RSV) took it out as a
fabrication in 1952! 32 scholars of the highest eminence backed by 50 cooperating denominations
produced this RSV. In the preface of this version, they state that the King James Version has grave
defects, and that these defects are so many and so serious as to call for revision (hence why they
produced the RSV).

Even other versions, like the New International Version, have removed it. Compare some different
versions to the King James Version (which still contains the fabricated verse):
A.6 The Canon of the Bible.

The canon of the Bible refers to the definitive list of the books which are considered to be divine
revelation and included therein. A canon distinguishes what is revealed and divine from what is not
revealed and human. "Canon" (Greek kanon) means a reed; a straight rod or bar; a measuring stick;
something serving to determine, rule, or measure.

For the modern day Bible, the process of recognising and collecting its books began in the first
centuries of the Christian church. Very early on, for example, some of the New Testament books
were being recognised by Paul. In A.D. 363, the Council of Laodicea stated that only the Old
Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament were to be read in the churches. The Council of
Hippo (A.D. 393) and the Council of Carthage (A.D. 397) also affirmed the same 27 books as
authoritative. In summary, it wasnt until nearly 400 years after Jesus that the contents of the New
Testament was finalised!

A.7 The Bible is not 100% the Word of God.

Now concerning virgins I have no command of the Lord, but I give an opinion as one who by
the mercy of the Lord is trustworthy. [1 Corinthians 7:25]

As the above verse states, Paul is giving his own personal opinion on a matter because he does not
know Gods judgement, so this alone is sufficient to prove that the Bible is not 100% the word of God.

A.8 The Bible is not 100% inspired by God.

I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, so no one can say
that you were baptized into my name. Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond
that, I don't remember if I baptized anyone else. [1 Corinthians 1:14-16].

If you examine the verse, you will notice that Paul made the following three statements:

1. I baptized no one else but Crispus and Gaius.

2. Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas.
3. I do not know whether I baptized anybody else.

So the first statement was a mistake, the second statement is a slight correction to the first and the
third statement is an admission that the correction is not complete. Does this seem like inspiration
from God?

A.9 The Bible is not complete.

What happened to Paul's first letter to the Corinthians? The Bible doesnt have it. What the Bible does
have is the follow up letter that he wrote. In this letter, Paul reminds the Corinthians that he had
already written to them in an earlier letter:

I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people, not at all
meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In
that case you would have to leave this world. But now I am writing you that you must not
associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an
idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
[1 Corinthians 5:9-11]
Appendix B Miscellaneous.

B.1 - Paul twisted the teachings of Jesus.

Many of the New Testament issues that Muslims find contentious (such as divinity of Jesus, Original
Sin, etc) originate from Paul. Im going to demonstrate how he twisted the original teachings of Jesus:

Jesus says to fulfil the Old Testament law until heaven and earth pass:

-[Matthew 5:18-19] - "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle
shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these
least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of
heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of
heaven".

The above verse is crystal clear, Jesus says that every Old Testament law must be upheld by his
followers until heaven and earth pass, meaning the end of time. In one fell swoop Paul completely
nullifies everything that Jesus had taught and practiced during his lifetime:

- [Romans 3:28] - "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the
law."

B.2 - Jesus was a Muslim.

Jesus prayed like Muslims:

- [Matthew 26:39] - Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My
Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.

Jesus fasted like Muslims:

- [Luke 4:2] Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and
when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

Jesus greeted his disciples with an Islamic greeting:

- [John 20:21] - "... Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you".

Jesus submitted his will to that of God, i.e. linguistically he's a Muslim (Islam = submission to God's
will):

- [John 5:30] -"... because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father ...".

Clearly, it is Muslims that are following the Biblical teachings of Jesus, not todays Christians.
B.3 - Test of a true Christian.

Ask them if they think they qualify as a true believer, according to the following yardstick of the New
Testament:

- [Gospel of Mark, Chapter 16 verse 17 & 18] And these signs will follow those who believe: In
my name they will cast out demons: they will speak with new tongues, they will take up serpents
and if they drink anything deadly it will by no means hurt them, they will lay hands on the sick and
they will recover.

Potential rebuttal by Christians:

They will refuse to do these things because we should not tempt God. Make the point that many
priests tempt God on a weekly basis by speaking in tongues, performing exorcisms and healing the
sick, so why not attempt the rest of the challenges (holding serpents and drinking poison)? This
proves that the issue isnt to do with tempting God, but rather their willingness to perform only
those deeds which have no risk of harm in other words its down to a weakness of faith.

B.4 - Modern Christianity has Pagan Roots.

The Trinity doctrine, to take one example, is not unique to, nor original with, Christianity. It has deep
Pagan roots, dating back to at least two centuries BC, and has been prominent in many Eastern
religions ever since. One of the most common beliefs among Pagan cultures was in a trinity of gods.
We find this among the ancient Egyptians (gods Osiris, Isis, Horus), Hinduism (gods Brahma, Vishnu,
Shiva), the Babylonians (gods Nimrod, Semiramas, Tammuz), the Greeks (gods Zeus, Athena, Apollo),
the Sumerians (Anu, Enlil, Enki) and the Romans (gods Jupiter, Juno, Minerva). Although these
religions had many minor deities, they distinctly acknowledged that there was one supreme God
who consisted of three persons or essences.

The Bible does not teach the doctrine of the Trinity. Neither the word Trinity itself, nor such language
as one in three, three in one, one essence or substance or three persons, is Biblical language. Since
the doctrine is unscriptural, you have to ask the question where did it come from? One theory is that
it took an emperor to make Christianity start embracing the concept:

The world around the early Church was changing. The Roman empire began to crumble and
Constantine came to power. He wished to unify the Empire.

Rome, the seat of emperors for the Roman Empire and the power base of political popes, was
heavily influenced by the philosophy and paganism of the former Grecian Empire, which took in
much more territory than the Roman Empire ever achieved. Greek literature, sociology, religion,
and superstitions played a great part in the formation of Roman government, philosophy, and
religion. Therefore, it is no wonder that the Romans incorporated much of their custom and
culture into Christianity.

Up until the rule of Emperor Constantine, the Christians of the Roman Empire were persecuted.
Constantine, however, in the early fourth century saw a chance to help restore the former glory of
the Empire by bringing about religious unity. In exchange for the cooperation of the Roman
Christian Bishops he made Christianity the official state religion. This suited the Church as well, for
in the desire to grow, the Church compromised truth, which resulted in confusion as pagans
became Christians and intermingled beliefs and traditions. However, this came at great cost to the
true gospel of Jesus Christ. From this time forward Christianity became a mixture of the teachings
of Jesus and Paganism.

To summarise, the concept of the Trinity is recycled from other Pagan religions, some of which came
thousands of years before Christianity. The Church simply adopted these ideas and applied them to
Jesus.

The Christmas tree is Pagan symbol, Old Testament even warns against it:

"Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the LORD,
Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are
dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest,
the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they
fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. [Jeremiah 10:1-4].

Easter is a Pagan symbol:

The name "Easter" originated with the names of an ancient Goddess of fertility, known variously as
Ostare, Ostara, Ostern, Eostra, Eostre, Eostur, Eastra, Eastur, Austron and Ausos. Her name was
derived from the ancient word for spring: "eastre."

B.5 Pornography in the Bible.

- [Ezekial 23:19-20] - "Yet she turned to even greater prostitution, remembering her youth when
she was a prostitute in Egypt. She lusted after lovers with genitals as large as a donkey's and
emissions like those of a horse."

What moral teaching or spiritual benefit can we derive from this filth? Would any decent Christian
dare to read this to their children? Clearly, these are the words of corrupt men and not almighty God.

B.6 The Holy spirit.

You often find that during discussion, when you have them on the defensive or feeling vulnerable
because they cant respond with logic/evidence to the points raised throughout this document, they
are forced into a position whereby they emotionally respond with the Holy Spirit as the reason that
they are correct. It is often used by Christians (for non-Trinitarian Christians a guiding force of God,
for Trinitarian Christians a third of God) in the following way:

- As proof that their religion is the truth, because it guided them to Christianity
- As proof that the Bible is the word of God, as it inspired the writers of the New Testament

These are wrong ways to respond to these claims:

- Accuse them of lying, as this is an attack on their character and will sour your dawah

- Ask them to prove it, as they may then respond by telling you a miraculous story of their
experience of the Holy Spirit (which they genuinely believe they experienced or may have
just invented on the spot). How do you now disprove their personal experience without
accusing them of lying, very tricky!

I find the best strategy is to point out that across different denominations of Christianity, many of
which believe in opposing doctrine, all claim to have had these miraculous experiences with the Holy
Spirit. Surely it cant be the Holy Spirit, otherwise theyd all have been guided to the same
denomination and have identical beliefs. These different groups even call one another disbelievers,
and yet at the same time claim to have been guided by the same force. Make the point that as an
outsider to Christianity, you cant use this personal emotional experience to distinguish truth from
falsehood. We must engage our logic, intellect and evidence.

For their claim that the Bible must be the word of God because of inspiration from the Holy Spirit,
point out that the different writers of the Gospels were often inspired to write conflicting accounts
of the same event, for example the resurrection, therefore it cant be from God as Gods word is
perfect. Also point out that there are many different versions of the Bible, theres no way to tell
which (if any) have been inspired by the Holy Spirit. The only rational conclusion is that it is the word
of man!

B.7 Accusation that Quran is from Satan.

In the face of amazing evidence put forth by us Muslims that the Quran is a miracle (free of
contradiction, only one version of Quran, memorised by millions, scientific facts, inimitable nature,
etc) you often find that a knee jerk reaction by Christians is to make the claim that it is Satan that has
created the Quran which is why it has these amazing features, ultimately to trick us into believing it is
from God so that we go to hell. You can respond with the following:

1. Ask them how they can be sure that Satan hasnt played a similar trick on Christians with the
Bible. They will most likely respond by referring to the Holy Spirit, in which case see section
B.6 above for how to respond.

2. Point out that we both agree that Satan is evil, and yet the Quran forbids all evil and
commands only good, and also advises us to shun Satan throughout, so it must be from a
source of goodness and not evil.

3. Point out that the Quran speaks of the creation of the universe, verified by modern science,
an event which pre-dates the existence of Satan. Therefore, its impossible that Satan could
have written about an unseen event because no living thing was in existence to witness it.
Dont just state point (1) in isolation, as it leaves you both at a stalemate. All the points combined
form a comprehensive rebuttal to this most lame of accusations, which only serves as proof against
themselves that they have no response of substance against the miracles of the Quran.

If they still stubbornly insist that the Quran is from Satan, then make the following point: according
to you the Quran is from Satan, in spite of its miraculous features. Since you believe the present
day Bible is from God, who himself is capable of far greater miracles than Satan, then surely you
can describe to me many miracles of the Bible which far exceed the standard of those in the
Quran. I assure you that there is not a single amazing feature of the Bible which is absent in the
Quran. For example, if they mention prophesy in the Bible then point out that the Quran also
contains many prophesies which have come true, so they cant use this feature to distinguish the
Bible, it must be a feature unique to the Bible to prove that it is from God and the Quran from Satan.
On the contrary, there are many miracles which are unique to the Quran and not present in the Bible,
for example its inimitable eloquence. The only avenue they have is to retort that the Bible is inspired
by the Holy Spirit and the Quran isnt in which case see section B.6 above for how to respond.

B.8 Christian missionary slanders against the prophet Muhammad (phuh).

When discussing the prophethood of Muhammad (pbuh) with Christian missionaries theyll often
raise the following objections as reasons why they reject him as a prophet:

His marriage to Aisha when she was young.

The violence he committed, for example the execution of the Jewish tribe Banu Qurayza.

Adopting a standard apologetic stance in refuting these accusations with the average non-missionary
Christian has a good chance of working as they tend to be open-minded and have a natural curiosity
about Islam. However, missionary Christians are different beasts because they are very familiar with
Islam (due to their experience of proselytizing to Muslims) and agenda-driven (theyre just as intent
on trying to convert you to Christianity as you are in giving dawah to them). Therefore a different
strategy is advised, one of attack rather than defence in order to put them on the back foot:

With regards to Aisha

Point out the following verse of the Bible:

[Genesis 34:4] - And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife."

The above is taken from the King James Version of the Bible. The word damsel is translated from
the original Hebrew word yaldah which I have highlighted below:
According to the Hebrew language this word means child or young girl. This same Hebrew word
is used in only two other places in the Bible, and in both instances the context is referring to children:

[Zechariah 8:5] And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets
thereof.

[Joel 3:3] And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a
girl for wine, that they might drink.

Many Jewish scholars estimate her age to have been around 12 years old, and many Christian
scholars estimate her age to have been around 14 years old.

This chapter of Genesis is a story about one of the daughters of prophet Jacob, called Dinah. She
leaves home and ends up having an illicit relationship with a pagan, non-Jewish prince called
Shechem. Shechem falls in love with her and asks his father to approach Jacob with a marriage
proposal. Jacob and his sons accept this proposal, however the sons set the condition that the prince
and his people must become circumcised in order for the marriage to be acceptable. They get
circumcised, and whilst they are recovering the sons of Jacob betray them and slaughter the prince
and all the other men in his kingdom. They then retrieve their sister Dinah from Shechems house
and take her back to her family. This proves that it was culturally acceptable in those days for girls,
much like Aisha, to get married at a young age.

In summary, if the missionary rejects the prophethood of Muhammad (pbuh) because of his
marriage to Aisha, then they must be consistent and also reject the prophethood of Jacob. If they
accept the situation with the family of prophet Jacob in the Bible, because they realise it was
culturally acceptable to marry younger girls in those days and in that culture, then they must be fair
and apply the same standards to prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

If they reject this response, then you can use this approach as an alternative. Point out these two
verses of the Bible:

[Genesis 22:1-2] - Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, Abraham! Here I am,
he replied. Then God said, Take your son, your only son, whom you loveIsaacand go to the
region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.

[Exodus 2:3] And when she could not longer hide him [Moses], she took for him an ark of
bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid [it] in
the flags by the river's brink.

The first verse tells us of the command given by God to Abraham to sacrifice his only son. The second
tells us of the story of Moses mother, who hid Moses in a basket and put him in the river. Now, if
both of these acts were to be performed by a person other than a prophet then they would be
considered evil acts, because they would likely result in the death of an innocent child. However,
because it was god that gave the commands, or inspiration behind the acts, then it is OK because he
knows the future and therefore knows that the results would be good. Similarly, the marriage to
Aisha was not from the desires of Muhammad (pbuh) but rather a command from God. He had a
dream about marrying Aisha, and in both the Bible and Quran the dreams of prophets are a form of
direct revelation from God. If a person was to marry a young child in this day and age then it might
be considered bad, however this specific marriage was sanctioned by God, and he knew the benefits
that would happen from it in the future, so it cant be evil.

With regards to violence

Point out the following verse of the Bible:

[Numbers 31:17] Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman
that hath known man by lying with him.

This is a command by prophet Moses to his soldiers, after conquering their Midyanite enemies in
battle he tells them to kill every young male child and every adult woman that is not a virgin. The
women that were virgins were to be taken into captivity. This is after having killed every adult male
and burning their cities.

Ask the missionary, if they reject prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his message because of the
execution of the Jewish tribe Banu qurayzah after battle, then they must be consistent and also reject
prophet Moses and his message the Old Testament. What Moses did (according to the Bible) is
actually much more severe, because Muhammad (pbuh) executed only the adult males that were
guilty of treachery and took the children and women into captivity, whereas Moses executed all the
adult males that fought as well as innocent children and even women that were not virgins. The only
ones spared were the women that were virgins.

B.9 Giving dawah to Jehovahs Witnesses.

Jehovah's Witnesses receive some of the best possible training on the use of psychological
techniques in dealing with their prospects. They will come to you trained and prepared to succeed in
every meeting. Here are just a few examples of their techniques:

Jehovah's Witnesses are instructed to use the following strategy when dealing with Muslims:
Whenever a Muslim says what Islam teaches; they will ask them to show exactly where in
the Quran this teaching can be found. They know that most of us dont know our Quran as
well as they know their Bible, so when you struggle to find the specific surah and ayah
numbers it undermines your argument and you may then be more willing to let them speak.

When they ask for your opinion about some matter and give you time to speak they are
preparing you to listen to them. Psychologically, once you have spoken you will feel that just
as they listened to you with patience you must now return the courtesy. You will then have
to listen to them telling you what the Word of God says about the matter. By this time, your
position appears weak. You gave your personal opinion and they reply with God's teachings.
Ever wondered why they always come in pairs? If one of them shows inclination to agree
with you, the other one will report him back at their kingdom hall as one who is now
wavering in his faith. The elders will then deal with him to undo any dawah you gave them.

When you disagree with any of their points, they never say what do you disagree with, but
rather what dont you understand. Sneaky or what!

If you are to get anywhere with them you have to be willing to seize control of the conversation. The
first step is for you to realise that you don't have to give your opinion when they ask for it. So, when
they inevitably ask you a question or ask for your opinion on some issue what you must do is reply
with a question. That's right, a question. That will certainly break the conversation out of the mould
which the Jehovah's Witnesses expect it to fit into, and help you to proceed on the track you are now
being trained to follow. Say something like this:

I am glad you asked. But I think the answer should come from God. Do you know where we can
find God's answer to your question?

They must now tell you where God's answer is to be found. If they say, "The Holy Bible," or whatever
else they choose to call their Bible, you are ready to ask a whole series of questions about the Bible.
If they turn the question back to you, do not reply with the Quran, or at least not yet. You are
certainly going to discuss the Quran, but not straight away. So, if they ask you the same question,
then respond with something like Thats a shame, I was really hoping you would know where I can
find Gods answers. They will surely start to speak about the Bible now, and this is your cue to ask
some questions about the Bible. You dont have to ask all of them, use as many as time permits. Each
question is designed to lead them down a specific path and youre going to use their own Bible to
trap them:

Question 1 Is your Bible the word of God?

Their answer

They will say, Yes! or It is the inspired word of God and provide some proof from the Bible. If they
respond with the latter then they have led themselves onto our second question so proceed to
question 2, however if they respond with the former then proceed with the following:

The truth

Now concerning virgins I have no command from the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who had
mercy shown him by the Lord to be faithful. [1 Corinthians 7:25]

Note that I have taken the above verse from their version of the Bible, the New World Translation. As
the above verse states, Paul is giving his own personal opinion on a matter because he does not
know Gods judgement, so this alone is sufficient to prove that the Bible is not 100% the word of
God, at best it is Gods word mixed with the personal opinions of men. At this point they will try to
rescue the situation by saying something like actually, its not the word of God but rather inspired by
God. Proceed with question 2:

Question 2 Is your Bible 100% inspired by God?

Their answer

They will say, Yes! and provide some proof from the Bible.

The truth

I am thankful I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, so that no one may say that
you were baptized in my name. Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. As for the
rest, I do not know whether I baptized anybody else. [1 Corinthians 1:14-16].

If you examine the verses, you will notice that Paul made the following three statements:

Does this seem like inspiration
from God? This alone is sufficient to prove that the Bible is not 100% inspired God. They may
disagree with you but it doesnt matter, I assure you that inside themselves they have been shaken
and therefore you have succeeded. They may try and divert the conversation or even quote you
other verses from the Bible to try and prove it is 100% inspired by God. Ignore them and reiterate
your position, you have just proven that it is not 100% inspired by God. Then proceed onto your final
question about the Bible:

Question 3 Is your Bible complete?

Their answer

They will say, "Yes (although perhaps with not as much gusto as before, as by now they are
expecting you to prove them wrong).

The truth

In my letter I wrote you to quit mixing in company with fornicators, not [meaning] entirely with
the fornicators of this world or the greedy persons and extortioners or idolaters. Otherwise, you
would actually have to get out of the world. But now I am writing you to quit mixing in company
with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a
drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man. [1 Corinthians 5:9-11].

What happened to Paul's first letter to the Corinthians? The Bible doesnt have it. What the Bible does
have is the follow up letter that he wrote. In this letter, Paul reminds the Corinthians that he had
already written to them in an earlier letter. This alone is sufficient to prove that the Bible is not
complete but is in fact missing at least one part.

You must do your best to restrict all discussion of the Bible to the points above. Please try to avoid
discussing other areas of the Bible or Christianity because they are very well trained and you will be
relinquishing control of the discussion. No matter how good you think your knowledge and
arguments of the Bible are, it is highly unlikely that you will undo a lifetime of brainwashing by their
church in the space of a single discussion. They have been conditioned to view all Bible
interpretations outside of their own as being inspired by the Devil, so even if you are speaking the
irrefutable truth they will stubbornly stick by their own understanding of the Bible. And even if they
believe you are correct they will not openly admit it for fear of their partner reporting them back to
their elders. Just stick to the questions above, as they are designed to take them out of their comfort
zone and make them lose some of the confidence they were charged up with when they left their
kingdom hall. They were not expecting to encounter a situation where their target did not fall for
their tricks, nor were they expecting to be confronted with so many issues about their holy book. To
use boxing terminology you have succeeded in stunning them with a few jabs, now you are going to
deliver the knockout blow, the Quran. Make the following statement:

I think a better source for Gods answer to your question can be found in the Quran

You now have to justify your reasoning. You can use any of the following verses:

Regarding the words of God, show them the Quran: This is the revelation of book without doubt
from the lord of the worlds. [32:2]

Regarding Gods inspiration, show them the Quran: Have they not considered the Quran with care?
Had it been from other than Allah they would surely have found therein much discrepancy. [4:82]

Regarding preservation, show them the Quran: Surely We have revealed the scripture (the Quran)
and surely We are its guardian. [15:9]

You can now take the conversation in any direction you like, as long as you talk about Islam and link
your points to the Quran. Do not be concerned if they disagree with you about Islam or the Quran,
the point is that you are controlling the conversation by restricting the discussing to Islam and
therefore fulfilling your obligation of delivering them the message. If they agree with you then thats
a bonus - its a win-win situation, you cannot lose! They will most likely feel very uncomfortable
discussing the Quran because the tables have been turned on them as they are now on the receiving
end of your dawah. Ive found that one of two things now occurs. One is that they will make an
excuse to leave and then flee from your doorstep, because this is what they have been instructed to
do by their elders in order to safeguard their faith. This is no loss for you, be satisfied that you did
your best in presenting the truth and rest assured that Allah has imbued these people with a
conscience. When they lie in bed at night they may remember your words and come to the
realisation that their religion is not what they been brainwashed to believe and inshaAllah you have
planted a seed for them to investigate Islam. On the other hand they may stick around out of
politeness or to try and save face, in which case they will surely try to bring the discussion back to
the Bible. Each time they do this, politely point out that we have already established that the Bible is
not 100% the word of God, not 100% inspired by God and not even complete, therefore the Quran is
surely a better source for Gods answers to any question that one might ask and then continue to talk
about Islam.

In summary:
Appendix C Muhammad (pbuh) in the Bible.
"Those unto whom We (Allah) gave the Scripture (Gospel, Torah) recognize (this revelation) as they
recognize their sons. But lo! a party of them knowingly conceal the truth." [Quran 2:146].

This section covers the claims of Muhammad (pbuh) existing in the Bible. I have included the most
common claims put forward by Muslims, and for each I provide the following sub-sections in order to
evaluate the claims:

Arguments for claim the strongest evidence in support of the claim, mainly Muslim
sources.
Arguments against claim the strongest evidence against the claim, mainly Jewish and
Christian sources but also my own (if I happen to disagree with the claim).
Conclusion After weighing up the evidence for and against I provide my personal opinion
about the claim.

I am amazed at how many Muslims conduct themselves when it comes to trying to prove prophet
Muhammad (pbuh) in the Bible. Claims are usually ill-researched, often with purported evidence
having been taken out of context and the verses in question not being weighed up with all related
verses in other parts of the Bible. Ironically these are the very things we often accuse others of doing
when they misrepresent the Quran. Therefore before proceeding allow me to lay down some ground
rules by reiterating my statement from the introduction of this document: in no circumstances
should Biblical quotes be taken out of context or in isolation. Not only does this reflect badly on us in
the eyes of Christians as it makes us appear to be desperate, insincere and unscholarly, but it also
makes us no better than the Christians that purposely distort Quranic ayat.

Verily, Allah has prescribed excellence upon everything... [Sahih Muslim].

C.1 Claim that Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name in the Songs of Solomon.

Arguments for claim

"His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O
daughters of Jerusalem." [Song of Solomon 5:16].

The phrase "he is altogether lovely" reads in the Hebrew as "he is Mahmadim." Because of the
translations from original Hebrew to Greek to Latin to English, some of the words in the Bible
referring to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by name were translated (in this case mahmadim was
translated into "altogether lovely").

Here is the Hebrew word used for Muhammad:

It is Chapter 5, verse 16 of Songs of Solomon:

That happens to be the exact same way that Muhammads name is written in Hebrew. It has four
characters, going from right to left they are (Hebrew is written from right to left):

Now, when writing in Hebrew there is no difference between the word Mahmad and Muhammad.
The only difference is in the vowels used when pronouncing this word. Hebrew is an ancient
language and there are no vowels, it is made up of 22 consonants. In ancient times, the reader
decided on his own which vowels to add in. It was not until the 8th century that vowels were
introduced, in the form of dots and lines. According to Ben Yehudas Hebrew-English dictionary this
word is correctly pronounced as mahamad which is very close to Muhammad. He defines this word
as lovely, coveted one, precious one, praised one. The correct way to say praised one in Arabic is
Muhammad, so this is the same word. As stated before, the name Muhammad and the word
mahmad are spelled exactly the same way in Hebrew. The only reason they are pronounced
differently is because of vowels (dots and lines) introduced in the 8th century:

Moreover, if we examine the rest of the chapter we can see that a person is being described who
matches the descriptions we have of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from the hadith:

My beloved [is] white and ruddy, the chief among ten thousand. [Song of Solomon 5:10]
We know from history that prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was forced to migrate to Medina from
Makkah. He returned to conquer Makkah with 10,000 followers.

The following hadith describes his ruddy/rosy colour:

Narrated Rabia bin Abi Abdur-Rahman: I heard Anas bin Malik describing the Prophet saying, "He
was of medium height amongst the people, neither tall nor short; he had a rosy color, neither
absolutely white nor deep brown; his hair was neither completely curly nor quite lank. Divine
Inspiration was revealed to him when he was forty years old. He stayed ten years in Mecca
receiving the Divine Inspiration, and stayed in Medina for ten more years. When he expired, he
had scarcely twenty white hairs in his head and beard." Rabi'a said, "I saw some of his hairs and it
was red. When I asked about that, I was told that it turned red because of scent. " [Sahih Bukhari]

His head [is as] the most fine gold, his locks [are] bushy, [and] black as a raven. [Song of Solomon
5:11]

The following hadith describes his hair colour:

Narated By Isma'il bin Abi Khalid : I heard Abii Juhaifa saying, "I saw the Prophet, and Al-Hasan bin
'Ali resembled him." I said to Abu- Juhaifa, "Describe him for me." He said, "He was white and his
beard was black with some white hair. He promised to give us 13 young she-camels, but he expired
before we could get them." [Sahih Bukhari]

His cheeks [are] as a bed of spices, [as] sweet flowers: his lips [like] lilies, dropping sweet-smelling
myrrh. [Song of Solomon 5:13]

The following hadith describes his natural scent:

Anas reported: I never smelt ambergris or musk as fragrant as the fragrance of the body of Allahs
Messenger (may peace be upon him) and I never touched brocade or silk and found it as soft as
the body of Allahs Messenger (may peace be upon him). [Sahih Muslim]

His hands [are as] gold rings set with the beryl: his belly [is as] bright ivory overlaid [with]
sapphires. [Song of Solomon 5:14]

The following hadith describes the whiteness of his body:

Narrated Al-Bara' bin 'Azib: The Prophet was carrying earth with us on the day of the battle of Al-
Ahzab (confederates) and I saw that the dust was covering the whiteness of his abdomen, and he
(the Prophet ) was saying, "(O Allah) ! Without You, we would not have been guided, nor would we
have given in charity, nor would we have prayed. So (O Allah!) please send tranquility (Sakina)
upon us as they, (the chiefs of the enemy tribes) have rebelled against us. And if they intend
affliction (i.e. want to frighten us and fight against us) then we would not (flee but withstand
them). And the Prophet used to raise his voice with it. [Sahih Bukhari]

His legs [are as] pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance [is] as Lebanon,
excellent as the cedars. [Song of Solomon 5:14]

The following hadith describes his large hands and feet:

Narrated Anas or Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet had big hands and feet and I have not seen
anybody like him after him. [Sahih Bukhari]

Arguments against claim

The word Mahmadim as it occurs in 5:16 is a numerically plural adjective functioning as a

metaphor and not a name with the majestic -im ending.

In Hebrew any noun (or adjective which follows the noun) with the '-im' ending can mean one of two
things, depending on the context of the sentence:

1. Numerical plural, or
2. Majestic plural (e.g. Elohim)

Now lets take a closer look at the grammar of the verse (going from right to left as Hebrew is like
Arabic):

Therefore according to the rules of the Hebrew language, and not wishful thinking, a more accurate
translation of the verse is as follows:

"His mouth is sweet things, and all of him is pleasantries..."

Another point to consider is the context of the entire chapter, not just a few verses in isolation. It is
very clearly a love song filled with erotic language describing a woman's desire for her lover. Take a
look at the first verse (Songs of Solomon 5:1):

I am come into my garden, my sister, [my] spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have
eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea,
drink abundantly, O beloved.

If this were a reference to prophet Muhammad (pbuh), would we have to accept that he drinks
alcohol? We cant pick and choose which verses apply to him, either we accept them all or
acknowledge that it isnt a reference to him.

Finally, this book is not part of the Torah (Hebrew Tanakh), it is part of a collection of writings called
Ketuvim . This includes the Books of Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations,
Ecclesiastes, Esther, Daniel, Ezra and Nehemiah, I Chronicles, and II Chronicles. The Ketuvim are
believed to have been written by people under the guidance of God but with one level less authority
than that of prophecy. Therefore it is deemed to be inferior to the Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus,
Numbers and Deuteronomy).

Conclusion

I dont think this is a reference to the prophet (pbuh), as unfortunately its not possible to make this
interpretation without taking verse 5:16 out of context and abusing the rules of the Hebrew
language. This makes us appear desperate and insincere with regards to interpreting the Bible,
something best avoided as trust is paramount when it comes to dawah.

C.2 Claim that Muhammad (pbuh) is the Prophet foretold by Moses.

Arguments for claim

Take a look at this remarkable prophesy made by Moses in the Old Testament:

Deuteronomy 18:15-22 - The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of
thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; According to all that thou desiredst
of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of
the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the LORD said
unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from
among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto
them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken
unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. But the prophet, which
shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that
shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if thou say in thine heart,
How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the
name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath
not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
In summary, Moses is relating these key points:

- God will raise a prophet like himself from the brethren of the Jews

- This prophet will have the words of God put in his mouth

- If this prophet speaks falsely in the name of Moses or other gods then the prophet will die

- The Litmus test for this prophet is whether he can tell of things to come in the future without
making any mistakes

Lets now analyse each of these key points to see whether they apply to Muhammad (pbuh):

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee...

No two prophets were so alike as Moses and Muhammad (pbuh). Both of them were rulers over
their nations. Both came with a new and comprehensive set of laws for their people. Both led their
followers away from their homes and into exile because of persecution. Both were victorious over
their enemies. Both began their prophetic missions at the age of forty. Both died natural deaths.
There are many additional points that could be mentioned but these will suffice.

Regarding the word brethren, it is translated from the original Hebrew word ach:

This word has the following meanings: brother of same parents, half-brother (same father), relative,
kinship, same tribe, each to the other (reciprocal relationship) or (fig.) of resemblance. This word is
used in many places and many contexts throughout the Old Testament. For the sake of our research
though all were interested in is finding an instance where the word is applied in the context of a
distant relationship, for example between cousins. Here it is:

[Genesis 25:26] And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and
his name was called Jacob: and Isaac [was] threescore years old when she bare them.

This verse tells us that Esau is Jacobs brother from the same father, Isaac. Now look at this verse
which refers to the descendents of Esau:

[Deuteronomy 2:8] And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt
in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Eziongaber, we turned and passed by the
way of the wilderness of Moab.

As you can see, the descendents of Esau have been called the brethren of the descendents of
Jacob (i.e. the Israelites). So, if brethren can be applied to cousins from amongst the sons of Isaac
(Esau and Jacob), then it can also be applied to cousins from amongst the sons of Abraham (Ishmael
and Isaac).

... and will put my words in his mouth

The Qur'an is the book of God in both word and meaning. We can find in the Qur'an more than four
hundred verses of the form "Say (O Muhammad): ...". In other words God Almighty is putting His
words into Muhammad's (pbuh) mouth and commanding him to speak them.

But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded
him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die...

Muhammad (pbuh) spoke not just a single word, but dictated a whole book in God's name. For
twenty three years he spoke exclusively in the name of God Almighty. He was given one hundred and
fourteen chapters, all of which were, and are to this day, recited day after day in God's name.
Chapters in the Qur'an begin with the words "In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful." Yet he
did not die, but lived to fulfill his message completely. He himself even narrated in the name of God a
similar verse in the Qur'an:

"And if he (Muhammad) had invented false sayings in Our (God's) name, We would have taken him
by the right, then We would have severed from him his aorta, and there is none among you who
could have held Us off from him" [69:46]

If the claims of some are true: That Muhammad (pbuh) was an impostor, then did God go to sleep for
twenty three years? Of course not! He knew full well what Muhammad (pbuh) was claiming. If he
was not telling the truth, why did God not kill him? Why did he allow him to perpetrate a lie that
would span fourteen centuries, and eventually come to cover the globe?

How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the
name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath
not spoken...

Muhammad (pbuh) made many detailed prophesies throughout his life, all were revelation from God
and all have come true (excluding major signs of day of judgement which have yet to pass). Therefore
he fulfils the above criteria set by Moses for identifying prophethood.

Finally, lets take a look at some verses from the New Testament which prove that even as late as the
time of Jesus the Jews were still awaiting this prophet foretold by Moses:

John 1:19-21 - And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from
Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not
the Christ. And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that
prophet? And he answered, No.
We notice that there are three distinct prophecies here: 1) Elias, 2) Jesus, 3) That prophet. The Jews
were waiting for three prophecies each relating to a distinct individual. This can be further clarified
by reading the following verse:

John 1:25 - And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that
Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?
This clarifies that "That prophet" can not apply to any prophet before the time of Jesus because at
the time of Jesus the Jews were still waiting for all three.

Arguments against claim

Jesus never said directly "I am the prophet of Deuteronomy 18:18". But He said that He was a
prophet, and probably meant that He was that prophet. Other parts of the N.T. declare Him to be
that prophet:

[John 5:45-47] - But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on
whom your hopes are set. If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.
47But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?

[Acts 3:22-23] - For Moses said, The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from
among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. Anyone who does not listen to
him will be completely cut off from among his people.

[John 6:14] Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a
truth that prophet that should come into the world.

[Acts 7:37] This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord
your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

Conclusion

The OT provides very strong evidence for the prophet (pbuh) in the Bible. Unfortunately the case for
him falls apart when we consider the NT, which we must do if we are to be sincere in our claims as
we cannot cherry pick only those parts of the Bible which suit us. Its all or nothing Im afraid, and
the NT explicitly identifies Jesus as being that prophet prophesied in the OT. Having said that, the NT
paints a very confusing picture because of John 1:25 which seems to indicate implicitly that Jesus and
that prophet are separate individuals, however other chapters of the NT explicitly state that it is
Jesus who is that prophet. Putting the evidence to one side, my personal beliefs are that the OT does
point to Muhammad (pbuh) and that the evidence against this in the NT has been fabricated in order
to draw attention away from him. However, given that the research has been performed under the
banner of Muhammad in the Bible we must be honest and take the Bible as a whole, we cant just
cherry pick what suits us.
C.3 Claim that Muhammad (pbuh) is the Paraclete prophesied by Jesus.

Arguments for claim

There are four verses in the Gospel of John in which Jesus predicts a great event concerning a
"Paraclete" or comforter who will come after him:

John 14:16 - "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may
abide with you forever."

John 15:26 - "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even]
the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me."

John 14:26 - "But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said
unto you."

John 16:7-14 - "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go
not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And
when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin,
because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no
more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto
you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you
into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak:
and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall
shew [it] unto you."

Christians will argue that the identity of this Paraclete is none other than the Holy Ghost, as
mentioned in John 14:26 above. Lets analyse this further:

1. Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit?

It must be pointed out that the original Greek manuscripts speak of a "Holy pneuma." The word
pneuma {pnyoo'-mah} is the Greek root word for "spirit." There is no separate word for "Ghost" in
the Greek manuscripts, of which there are claimed to be over 24,000 today. The translators of the
King James Version of the Bible translate this word as "Ghost" to convey their own personal
understanding of the text. However, a more accurate translation is "Holy Spirit." More faithful and
recent translations of the Bible, such as the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV), do indeed now
translate it as "Holy Spirit." This is significant, and will be expounded upon shortly.

All Bibles in existence today are compiled from "ancient manuscripts," the most ancient of which
being those of the fourth century C.E. Any scholar of the Bible will tell us that no two ancient
manuscripts are exactly identical. All Bibles in our possession today are the result of extensive cutting
and pasting from these various manuscripts with no single one being the definitive reference. What
the translators of the Bible have done when presented with such discrepancies is to do their best to
choose the correct version. In other words, since they cannot know which "ancient manuscript" is
the correct one, they must do a little detective work on the text in order to decide which "version" of
a given verse to accept. John 14:26 is just such an example of these selection techniques.

2. Spirit refers to human prophets in the New Testament

In the famous manuscript the Codex Syriacus, written around the fifth century C.E., and discovered in
1812 on Mount Sinai by Mrs.Agnes S. Lewis (and Mrs. Bensley), the text of John 14:26 reads;
"Paraclete, the Spirit"; and not "Paraclete, the Holy Spirit." Spirit in the New Testament refers to
"Human Prophets" and not Ghost Spirits. Take this example:

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false
prophets are gone out into the world," [1 John 4:1-3].

3. The Holy Ghost was already with them.

"If I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you..."

The comforter cannot be the Holy Ghost because the Holy Ghost (according to the New Testament)
was present long before the coming of Jesus and was even present throughout his ministry:

Luke 1:15 - "For he (John the Baptist) shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither
wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb."

Luke 1:35 - "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee."

Luke 1:41 - "And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe
leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost"

Luke 1:67 - "And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,"

Luke 2:25 - "And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same
man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him."

Luke 2:26 - "And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost (Simeon), that he should not see
death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ."

Luke 3:22 - "And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him (Jesus), and a
voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased."

John 20:21-22 - "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me,
even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive
ye the Holy Ghost."

Did they or did they not already receive the Holy Ghost? Was Jesus not still with them when they
received the Holy Ghost? Was the Holy Ghost not with Simeon, Mary, Elisabeth and Zacharias before
the birth of Jesus? There are many more similar verses to be found in the Bible. In the above verses,
we are told that if Jesus does not depart then the "parakletos" will not come. Thus, the "Holy Ghost"
cannot be the one originally intended since it was already with them. The contradiction is quite
obvious.

4. The Holy Ghost is not a distinct personality.

"He shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear that he shall speak."

Should we presume that the Holy Ghost and God are two distinct entities and that the Holy Ghost
speaks freely of himself and also what he hears from God? The Holy Ghost is the active force of God.
According to the NT it is not a person but is a powerful force that God causes to emanate from
himself to accomplish his holy will (Psalm 104:30; 2 Peter 1:21; Acts 4:31). The Holy Spirit is
described in the New Testament as other than a personality.

A careful examination of the following passages in the New Testament proves that the Holy Spirit is
not a distinct person, but the "Paraclete" foretold by Jesus Christ is a distinct person. This
fundamental difference between the two is, therefore, a decisive argument against the hypothesis of
their being one and the same person:

In 1 Cor. 2: 12 this Holy Spirit is described in the neuter gender "the Spirit from God". Paul clearly
states that as the Spirit which is in man makes him know the things that appertain to him so the
Spirit of God makes a man know the things divine (1 Cor. 2:11). Consequently, the Holy Spirit here is
not God but a divine issue, channel, or medium through which God teaches, enlightens, and inspire
those whom He pleases. It is simply an action of God upon human soul and mind.

Again, in 1 Cor. 6:19 we read that the righteous worshipers of God are called "the temple of the Holy
Spirit" which they "received from God." Here again the Spirit of God is not indicated to be a person
or an angel, but His virtue, word, or power and religion. Both the body and the soul of a righteous
believer are compared with a temple dedicated to the worship of the Eternal.

The fact that Jesus points out that the Paraclete shall not speak of himself proves that it must be
an entity that has the potential to speak of itself, much like a human prophet of God. A force of God,
or even a part of God as Trinitarians will argue, would never do such a thing, therefore negating the
need for Jesus to point out the obvious.

5. "Another" Paraclete.

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter...

Notice the words "another Comforter." If the comforter is the Holy Ghost then how many Holy
Ghost's are there? The word "another" is significant. In English, "another" may mean "One more of
the same kind" or "one more of a different kind." If the latter were the one intended then the current
Christian interpretation might bear some merit. However, if "One more of the same kind" was what
was intended then this is positive proof that the coming Paraclete would be just like Jesus, a human
being and a prophet, not a ghost. The actual Greek word used was the word "allon" which is the
masculine accusative form of "allos" {al'-los}: "Another of the SAME kind." The Greek word for
"another of a different kind" is "heteros" {het'-er-os}.

6. Selective translation: Jesus is also a Paraclete.

There appears to be selective translation going on with the word Paraclete in the New Testament.
Jesus is also a Paraclete:

"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an
advocate (parakletos) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." [1 John 2:1].

Notice how the translators have managed to translate this exact same word one way (advocate) in
reference to Jesus and another (comforter) with regard to the coming "parakletos." Why would they
want to do such a thing? The reason is that the translators did not want the Christians, after reading

"we have an advocate (parakletos) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous"

to then read...

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another advocate (parakletos)"

Compare the original Greek texts for yourself, the word used to describe Jesus in 1 John 2:1 and the
coming Paraclete in John 14:16 are identical:

Now the Christian interpretation of the identity of Jesus as a uniquely divine individual unlike any
other brings forward a new problem. Given that Jesus is also a Paraclete, does this now mean that
Jesus is prophesying the coming of another like him? As you can see, the Christians have inflicted one
giant mess on themselves. Its ironic that the only way these problems can be resolved is if you take
the Islamic identity of Jesus as a human prophet of God, because then these verses are basically
saying that Jesus is a prophet of God and that another prophet will be coming after him, Muhammad
(pbuh). Problem solved!
7. Does the Holy Spirit "speak" or "inspire"

The Greek word translated as "hear" in the Biblical verses ("whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he
speak") is the Greek word "akouo" {ak-oo'-o} meaning to perceive sounds. It has, for instance, given
us the word "acoustics," the science of sounds. Similarly the verb "to speak" is the Greek verb "laleo"
{lal-eh'-o} which has the general meaning "to emit sounds" and the specific meaning "to speak." This
verb occurs very frequently in the Greek text of the Gospels. It designates a solemn declaration by
Jesus during his preaching (for example Matthew 9:18). Obviously these verbs require hearing and
speech organs in order to facilitate them. There is a distinct difference between someone "inspiring"
something and him "speaking" something. So the Paraclete will "hear" and "speak," not "inspire."

Muhammad (pbuh) did indeed fulfill this prophesy. Whatsoever he "HEARD" from Gabriel (the
Quran), the same did he physically "SPEAK" to his followers.

8. "He" not "It".

Notice the use of "he" when referring to the Paraclete and not "it." If we read John 16:13, we will
find no less than SEVEN occurrences of the masculine pronoun "He" and "Himself." There is not
another verse in the 66 books of the Protestant Bible or the seventy three books of the Catholic Bible
which contains seven masculine pronouns, or seven feminine pronouns, or even seven neuter
genders. So many masculine pronouns ill befits a ghost, holy or otherwise. The word "Spirit" (Greek,
pneu'ma), is of a neutral gender and is always referred to by the pronoun "it." This must surely be
referring to the coming of a male figure.

9. He will guide you into all truth.

"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the
Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth..."

What does Jesus mean by "ye cannot bear them now"? If we were to read the Bible, we would find
many verses throughout wherein Jesus bemoans the lack of understanding he was constantly
greeted with from his disciples throughout his ministry:

"And he(Jesus) saith unto them(the disciples).....O ye of little faith." [Matthew 8:26].

"...and (Jesus) said unto him(Peter), O thou of little faith." [Matthew 14:31].

"he (Jesus) said unto them(the disciples), O ye of little faith." [Matthew 16:8].

"And he(Jesus) said unto them(the disciples), Where is your faith?" [Luke 8:25].

Notice that these are not common Jews who he is saying these words to, but his own elect disciples.
The Bible vividly illustrates how he is constantly going out of his way to simplify matters for them and
to speak to them as one speaks to little children. However, even at that, they still misunderstand. He
is finally driven to frustration and made to say:
"And Jesus said, Are ye even yet without understanding?" [Matthew 15:16].

"And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and
suffer you?" [Luke 9:41].

Dont forget, his disciples even abandoned him in his hour of need:

Then all the disciples deserted him and fled. [Matthew 26:56].

Jesus had "all truth," but he could not give it to them because they were not fit to receive it.
Therefore, he told them that another would come after him who shall guide them into "all truth"
which they could not receive from him. He tells us that the one who will come will "teach you all
things." This one who will guide them into "all truth" is described as "The spirit of truth." Since the
departure of Jesus, the "Holy Ghost" has not taught mankind a single new truth not revealed by
Jesus himself. As stated in the Quran, it is Muhammad (pbuh) who guided the world to all truth:

"O mankind! The Messenger has now come unto you with the truth from your Lord: believe, then,
for your own good!" [4:170]

10. He shall not speak of himself.

"For he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak..."

It is interesting to read the following verse of the Quran:

"Nor does he (Muhammad) speak of his own desire. It is but an Inspiration that is inspired (unto
him)" [53:3-4].

11. He shall glorify me.

He shall glorify me...

The Quran glorifies the birth of Jesus through the Virgin Mary. The Quran also confirms that Jesus
was a Messiah; a Messenger of God; the Spirit from God; the Word of God and the Righteous
Prophet.

12. He will show you things to come.

... and he will shew you things to come.

There were many fulfilled prophesies made in the Quran and in the Sunnah (traditions) of the
prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Arguments against claim

After the resurrection of Jesus the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost for a new work. He descended upon
all those gathered and not to just a few specially-selected individuals:

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the
blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All
of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit
enabled them. Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under
heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one
heard their own language being spoken. 7 Utterly amazed, they asked: Arent all these who are
speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? Parthians,
Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia
and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome (both Jews and
converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabswe hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own
tongues! Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, What does this mean? [Acts 2:1-12]

What this means is that the Holy Spirit created a new organic Spirit-baptized entity, the New
Covenant Ekklesia (meaning a called out group of people). The church had previously been
established and was in existence but after Pentecost it was transformed and was now a living,
growing group of people.

Conclusion

I believe that is a prophesy about Muhammad (pbuh). The only candidate that the Christians can put
forward is the Holy Ghost, but in order for the Holy Ghost to fulfil this prophesy it must be shown
that it meets all of the criteria set out by Jesus. I agree that from a purely timeline point of view that
this new covenant Ekklesia fulfills part of the prophesy as it only appeared after the resurrection of
Jesus. However, other parts of the prophesy which describe the Paraclete as being a distinct
personality separate from God with the potential to speak of its own desire make it impossible for
the Holy Ghost to be the Paraclete, as this goes against the teachings of the nature of the Holy ghost
in other parts of the Bible.

In Summary

So, after all this analysis it turns out that only 1 out of 3 of the most common claims of Muhammad
(pbuh) in the Bible are valid. Should we be disheartened by this, and does it hamper our dawah
efforts? Absolutely not! The best way to convey his prophethood is to explain his life, teachings and
achievements, all of which were only possible by the grace of Allah. The fact that the Bible does
prophesise him is additional evidence to an existing mountain of evidence. My advice would be to
not rely solely on the Bible for proving his prophethood, but rather Islamic sources instead (Quran,
Hadith and Seerah). Any truth seeking and sincere Christian will recognise these signs.

"Those unto whom We (Allah) gave the Scripture (Gospel, Torah) recognize (this revelation) as they
recognize their sons. But lo! a party of them knowingly conceal the truth." [Quran 2:146].
George Bernard Shaw said THE MOST DANGEROUS BOOK ON EARTH (the Bible),
KEEP IT UNDER LOCK AND KEY. Keep the Bible out of your childrens reach. Why
did George Bernard Shaw called the Bible the most dangerous book on the
Earth !!!?

//If he called them gods to whom the word of God cameand Scripture cannot be broken//

He said If He calls them "gods";then why they are accusing him for blashphamy ? after all God sent him...

//36 : why do you call it blasphemy when I say, 'I am the Son of God'? After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into
the world.//

Is NOT THIS ENOUGH THAT JESUS DIDN;T DID ANY BLASPHEMY AND DIDN;T CLAIMED HE IS GOD ,INFACT HE REJECTED
THAT "he is not GOD"

Bible Translators celebratory translated god with small "g" in to "GOD" with big "G".

Jesus Declared he is not GOD...He is "god",just like they are....

Why prophet Muhammad[pbuh] married 12 wives?

Was it lust? was he sex addict?

When Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) was twenty-five years old he married for the first time. His wife,
Khadijah, was fifteen years older than him. She remained the only wife of the prophet for the next
twenty-five years, until she died (may Allah be pleased with her).

Only after her death did the prophet marry other women. Now, it is obvious that if the prophet was
after physical pleasure he did not have to wait until he was more than fifty years old to start marrying
more wives. He lived in a society in which it was quite acceptable to have many wives. But the
prophet remained devoted to his only wife for twenty-five years. When she died she was sixty-five
years old.

His later marriages were for various reasons. Some marriages were with the view to help the
women whose husbands had been killed while they were defending their faith. Others were with a
view to cement relationships with devoted followers like Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him. Yet
others were to build bridges with various tribes who were otherwise at war with the Muslims. When
the prophet became their relative through marriage, their hostilities calmed down, and much
bloodshed was averted.
Notes

Prophet Muhammad was not married to 12 wives at the same time as many may think... but he
married 12 times, he never had 12 wives at the same time.

Prophet Muhammad never married while his first wife was alive, who died when he was 50 years
old, when all lust and desire have faded.

Multiple wives of prophets was not new or invented by prophet Muhammad

the Prophets of God had more than one wife are as mentioned in Bible and Torah:

Abraham - 3 wives [Gen. 25:1-6]

Jacob - 4 wives [Gen. 29 & 30]
David - 9 wives [2 Samuel 12:7-9] [2 Samuel 5:13] [1 Sam.18:27] [2 Sam. 3:2-3] [1 Samuel 25:43]
[1 Chronicles 3:1-9]
Solomon - 700 wives and 300 slaves [1 Kings 11:3]
Gideon - [Judges 8:30]
Jehoiada the priest - [2 Chronicles 24:2-3]
Moses - 4 wives [Ex. 2:16-21] and [Num. 12:1]

[Deuteronomy 21:15-17] shows polygamy accepted as a valid practice and gives rules governing
the inheritance for children of polygamous wives.

Closer Look on the prophet's wives

1. Khadeeja bint Khwailed:

His first wife.

was a widow.
was 40 and he was 25 when they got married.
was 65 and he was 50 when she died.
lived together for 25 years.
Never married again when she was alive.
The year she died called the Sorrow year ... because he loved her so much.

2. Sawda bint Zam'aa:

Was a widow.
Was 55 and he was 50 when they got married.
She and her late husband ran away from their Folks after they became Muslims
after her husband died she couldn't go back to them and she had no one to support her after him.
People used to look down at widow women at these days... so he married her to break the rule.

3. Aaisha bint Abu Bakkr:

Was 9 or 11 when he married her.

Her father was his best friend Abu-Bakkr and best friends at these days was like brothers so one
doesn't marry his best friend's daughter as if he is her uncle so he married her to break the rule too
People at these days used to marry girls at this age so it was not weird or strange to marry her in
this age besides she was considered ready to get married an adult by this age
Before she was married to Muhammad, Aaishah had been engaged to an infidel, Jubair ibn Mus'ab
ibn Ady. Her fiance broke the engagement on the basis of religious difference. So her father, Abu
Bakr, agreed to give her hand in marriage to the Prophet.
He loved her the most.
Was the only one who was virgin when they got married.
Was alive for 48 years after the death of the prophet.
Was the main reference for everyone in all religion's matters after the death of the prophet...
including her father and the prophet's companions.

4. Hafsah bint Omar:

Her father was Omar-bin-AlKahttab the prophet's best friend after Abu-Bakkr
Was a widow.
he married her because of her father who gave a lot to Islam to honor him.

5. Zienab bint Khouzaymah:

Was 60 and he was 55 when they got married.

Was a widow... and she used to help the wounded.
When her husband died she had no one to help her or support her ... so the prophet married
her to give her shelter.
Died two years after marrying the prophet.

6. Om-Salamh:

Was 55 and he was over 50 when they got married.

Was a widow with 4 orphans... 2 boys and 2 girls.
When the prophet knew about her he sent to her asking her to marry him ... she refused and she
said "I'm old and I'm a mother of orphans" ... so he send to her telling her "I don't care for your age
and your children are mine"... so she accepted and they got married...
He loved her children more than their true father.

7. Zienab bint Gahsh:

Was the prophet's cousin ... grew up in his house till he married her to Zayd (his manumitted
slave).
Before adoption was forbidden the prophet adopted one of his slaves whom he freed and called
him "Zayd bin(son of) Muhammad" ... but when adoption was prevented by verses that was sent to
the prophet ... people still consider Zayd the son of Muhammad ... and the father doesn't marry a
woman who one day was the wife of his son and vice versa ...
So when Zayd married Zienab ... she used to look down to him and tell him rough words because
he used to be a slave ... and he wanted to divorce her but the prophet asked him not to ... but one
day she talked very rough to him that he divorced her...
So God sent some verses in the Quran telling prophet Muhammad that he must marry her to make
people believe that he is not Zayd's father [ Quran 33:37]
"And (remember) when you said to him (zayd bin Harithah ; the freed-slave of the Prophet) on whom
Allah has bestowed Grace (by guiding him to Islam) and you (O Muhammad too) have done favour
(by manumitting him) "Keep your wife to yourself, and fear Allah." But you did hide in yourself (i.e.
what Allah has already made known to you that He will give her to you in marriage) that which Allah
will make manifest, you did fear the people (i.e., Muhammad married the divorced wife of his
manumitted slave) whereas Allah had a better right that you should fear Him. So when Zaid had
accomplished his desire from her (i.e. divorced her), We gave her to you in marriage, so that (in
future) there may be no difficulty to the believers in respect of (the marriage of) the wives of their
adopted sons when the latter have no desire to keep them (i.e. they have divorced them). And Allah's
Command must be fulfilled."

8. Juwayriah bint Al-Harith,

Her first husband's name was Masafeah Ibn Safuan. Juayreah became a prisoner after the Muslims
won the Battle of Al Mostalaq.
Juayreah's father came to the Prophet and offered a payment for her return. The Prophet asked
her father to give her a choice. When she was given a choice she said she accepted Islam and
Prophet Muhammad as the last God's Messenger. The Prophet then married her. Her tribe of Beni
Almostalag accepted Islam.

9. Umm Habibah

Her first husband was Aubed Allah Jahish.

He was the son of the aunt of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Aubed Allah died in Ethiopia. The king of Ethiopia arranged the marriage of Ramelah to Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh).

10. Safiyah bint Huyay ibn Akhtab (Jewish)

She was from the tribe of Beni Nadir, who were from the children of Levi (Israel).
She was married twice before, then she married Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Her first husband Salam Ibn Moshkem, and her second husband was Kenanah Ibn Al Rabeeah.

11. Maymunah bint Al-Harith

She was 26 years old when she married Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Her first husband was Abu Rahma Ibn Abed Alzey. When the Prophet opened Makkah in 630 AD ,
she came to the Prophet, accepted Islam and proposed to marry him.
Her actions encouraged Many Makkahans to accept Islam and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

12. Maria the Coptic (Christian)

she was a slave owned by Egypt's Christian governor, who offered her and her sister Serine among
other presents as a gift of good will to the Prophet in reply to his envoys inviting him to Islam.
On her way from Egypt to Madinah, she was curious to learn about her new master and listened to
his Companions talk about him. As a result, she became Muslim before meeting Muhammad.
Prophet Muhammad set her free and married her and they had and she had a son from the
Prophet. His name was Abraham.

Lady AAisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him)
never preferred one wife over another and he used to see all of them in their homes everyday even
though he spent the night with one only.
He was constant in his equitable treatment of his wives despite the changes in his conditions. He
remained the same whether he was traveling or present at home. When he had to travel he would
choose without personal preference - (by drawing straws) which wife would accompany him.
He used to spend one day and one night with each wife except when Lady Sauda Bint Zam'a reached
old age and no longer had sexual desire. She dedicated her day and night to Lady A'isha (may Allah
be pleased with them). In this way, Lady Sauda was also seeking to please the Prophet (peace be
upon him).

Before the Qur'an was revealed, there was no upper limit for polygamy, and many men had more
than four wives. Islam put an upper limit of four wives, permitting a man to marry more than once,
only on the condition that he deal justly with all of them.

"Marry women of your choice, two, or three, or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal
justly (with them), then only one." (Quran 4:3)

Polygamy in Islam is not recommended; it is only permitted under certain guidelines. Permission to
practice polygamy is not associated with mere satisfaction of passion. It is, rather, associated with
compassion toward widows and orphans.

Prophet Muhammad last words were "Be kind to women"

Murder in the Bible

The act of murder is rampant in the Bible. In much of the Bible, especially the Christian bible there
are laws that command that people be killed for absurd reasons such as working on the Sabbath,
being gay, cursing your parents, or not being a virgin on your wedding night. In addition to these
crazy and immoral laws, there are plenty of examples of Christian religion
irrationality by his
direct killing of many people for reasons that defy any rational explanation such as killing children
who make fun of bald people, and the killing of a man who tried to keep the ark of God from falling
during transport. There are also countless examples of mass murders commanded by Christian bible
including the murder of women, infants, and children.

The following passages are a very small percentage of the total passages approving of murder in the
Bible. They are divided here into three parts: 1) Capital Punishment Crimes,

Murders for Stupid Reasons, 3

Murdering Children, and 4)

Miscellaneous Murders. This list is long, but it barely scratches the surface of all the murders
approved in the their Bible.

1) Capital Punishment Crimes:

Kill People Who Don't Listen to Priests

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD
your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)

Kill Witches
You should not let a sorceress live. (Exodus 22:17 NAB)

Kill Homosexuals
"If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable
deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)

Kill Fortunetellers
A man or a woman who acts as a medium or fortuneteller shall be put to death by stoning; they have
no one but themselves to blame for their death. (Leviticus 20:27 NAB)

Death for Hitting Dad

Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. (Exodus 21:15 NAB)

Death for Cursing Parents

1) If one curses his father or mother, his lamp will go out at the coming of darkness. (Proverbs 20:20
NAB)
2) All who curse their father or mother must be put to death. They are guilty of a capital offense.
(Leviticus 20:9 NLT)

Death for Adultery

If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the man and the woman must be put to
death. (Leviticus 20:10 NLT)

Death for Fornication

A priest's daughter who loses her honor by committing fornication and thereby dishonors her father
also, shall be burned to death. (Leviticus 21:9 NAB)

Death to Followers of Other Religions

Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed. (Exodus 22:19 NAB)

Kill Nonbelievers
They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul;
and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small
or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

Kill False Prophets

If a man still prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall say to him, "You shall not live, because
you have spoken a lie in the name of the Lord." When he prophesies, his parents, father and mother,
shall thrust him through. (Zechariah 13:3 NAB)

Kill the Entire Town if One Person Worships Another God

Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble
among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such
cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable
act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as
well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put
the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin
forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction.
Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on
you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God
will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is
pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)

Kill Women Who Are Not Virgins On Their Wedding Night

But if this charge is true (that she wasn't a virgin on her wedding night), and evidence of the girls
virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her fathers house and there her
townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against Israel by her
unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy
22:20-21 NAB)

Kill Followers of Other Religions.

1) If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or you intimate friend,
entices you secretly to serve other gods, whom you and your fathers have not known, gods of any
other nations, near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other: do not yield to him
or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but kill him. Your hand shall be
the first raised to slay him; the rest of the people shall join in with you. You shall stone him to death,
because he sought to lead you astray from the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of
Egypt, that place of slavery. And all Israel, hearing of this, shall fear and never do such evil as this in
your midst. (Deuteronomy 13:7-12 NAB)

2) Suppose a man or woman among you, in one of your towns that the LORD your God is giving you,
has done evil in the sight of the LORD your God and has violated the covenant by serving other gods
or by worshiping the sun, the moon, or any of the forces of heaven, which I have strictly forbidden.
When you hear about it, investigate the matter thoroughly. If it is true that this detestable thing has
been done in Israel, then that man or woman must be taken to the gates of the town and stoned to
death. (Deuteronomy 17:2-5 NLT)

Death for Blasphemy

One day a man who had an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father got into a fight with one of the
Israelite men. During the fight, this son of an Israelite woman blasphemed the LORD's name. So the
man was brought to Moses for judgment. His mother's name was Shelomith. She was the daughter of
Dibri of the tribe of Dan. They put the man in custody until the LORD's will in the matter should
become clear. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Take the blasphemer outside the camp, and tell all
those who heard him to lay their hands on his head. Then let the entire community stone him to
death. Say to the people of Israel: Those who blaspheme God will suffer the consequences of their
guilt and be punished. Anyone who blasphemes the LORD's name must be stoned to death by the
whole community of Israel. Any Israelite or foreigner among you who blasphemes the LORD's name
will surely die. (Leviticus 24:10-16 NLT)

Kill False Prophets

1) Suppose there are prophets among you, or those who have dreams about the future, and they
promise you signs or miracles, and the predicted signs or miracles take place. If the prophets then
say, 'Come, let us worship the gods of foreign nations,' do not listen to them. The LORD your God is
testing you to see if you love him with all your heart and soul. Serve only the LORD your God and
fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him. The false prophets or
dreamers who try to lead you astray must be put to death, for they encourage rebellion against the
LORD your God, who brought you out of slavery in the land of Egypt. Since they try to keep you from
following the LORD your God, you must execute them to remove the evil from among you.
(Deuteronomy 13:1-5 NLT)

2) But any prophet who claims to give a message from another god or who falsely claims to speak for
me must die.' You may wonder, 'How will we know whether the prophecy is from the LORD or not?' If
the prophet predicts something in the LORD's name and it does not happen, the LORD did not give
the message. That prophet has spoken on his own and need not be feared. (Deuteronomy 18:20-22
NLT)

Infidels and Gays Should Die

So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did
vile and degrading things with each other's bodies. Instead of believing what they knew was the truth
about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not
the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their
shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged
in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women,
burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered
within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved. When they refused to acknowledge God, he
abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives
became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception,
malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful.
They are forever inventing new ways of sinning and are disobedient to their parents. They refuse to
understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving. They are fully aware of God's
death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And,
worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. (Romans 1:24-32 NLT)

Kill Anyone who Approaches the Tabernacle

For the LORD had said to Moses, 'Exempt the tribe of Levi from the census; do not include them
when you count the rest of the Israelites. You must put the Levites in charge of the Tabernacle of the
Covenant, along with its furnishings and equipment. They must carry the Tabernacle and its
equipment as you travel, and they must care for it and camp around it. Whenever the Tabernacle is
moved, the Levites will take it down and set it up again. Anyone else who goes too near the
Tabernacle will be executed.' (Numbers 1:48-51 NLT)

Kill People for Working on the Sabbath

The LORD then gave these further instructions to Moses: 'Tell the people of Israel to keep my
Sabbath day, for the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant between me and you forever. It helps you to
remember that I am the LORD, who makes you holy. Yes, keep the Sabbath day, for it is holy.
Anyone who desecrates it must die; anyone who works on that day will be cut off from the
community. Work six days only, but the seventh day must be a day of total rest. I repeat: Because
the LORD considers it a holy day, anyone who works on the Sabbath must be put to death.' (Exodus
31:12-15 NLT)

2) God's Murders for Stupid Reasons:

Kill Brats
From there Elisha went up to Bethel. While he was on his way, some small boys came out of the city
and jeered at him. "Go up baldhead," they shouted, "go up baldhead!" The prophet turned and saw
them, and he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two shebears came out of the woods and
tore forty two of the children to pieces. (2 Kings 2:23-24 NAB)

God Kills the Curious

And he smote of the men of Beth-shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of Jehovah, he
smote of the people seventy men, `and' fifty thousand men; and the people mourned, because
Jehovah had smitten the people with a great slaughter. And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is
able to stand before Jehovah, this holy God? and to whom shall he go up from us? (1Samuel 6:19-20
ASV)

Killed by a Lion
Meanwhile, the LORD instructed one of the group of prophets to say to another man, "Strike me!" But
the man refused to strike the prophet. Then the prophet told him, "Because you have not obeyed the
voice of the LORD, a lion will kill you as soon as you leave me." And sure enough, when he had gone,
a lion attacked and killed him. (1 Kings 20:35-36 NLT)

Killing the Good Samaritan

The ark of God was placed on a new cart and taken away from the house of Abinadab on the hill.
Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab guided the cart, with Ahio walking before it, while David and all the
Israelites made merry before the Lord with all their strength, with singing and with citharas, harps,
tambourines, sistrums, and cymbals.
When they came to the threshing floor of Nodan, Uzzah reached out his hand to the ark of God to
steady it, for the oxen were making it tip. But the Lord was angry with Uzzah; God struck him on that
spot, and he died there before God. (2 Samuel 6:3-7 NAB)

3) Murdering Children

Kill Sons of Sinners

Make ready to slaughter his sons for the guilt of their fathers; Lest they rise and posses the earth,
and fill the breadth of the world with tyrants. (Isaiah 14:21 NAB)

God Will Kill Children

The glory of Israel will fly away like a bird, for your children will die at birth or perish in the womb or
never even be conceived. Even if your children do survive to grow up, I will take them from you. It
will be a terrible day when I turn away and leave you alone. I have watched Israel become as
beautiful and pleasant as Tyre. But now Israel will bring out her children to be slaughtered." O LORD,
what should I request for your people? I will ask for wombs that don't give birth and breasts that give
no milk. The LORD says, "All their wickedness began at Gilgal; there I began to hate them. I will drive
them from my land because of their evil actions. I will love them no more because all their leaders
are rebels. The people of Israel are stricken. Their roots are dried up; they will bear no more fruit.
And if they give birth, I will slaughter their beloved children." (Hosea 9:11-16 NLT)

Kill Men, Women, and Children

"Then I heard the LORD say to the other men, "Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose
forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity! Kill them all old and young, girls and women
and little children. But do not touch anyone with the mark. Begin your task right here at the Temple."
So they began by killing the seventy leaders. "Defile the Temple!" the LORD commanded. "Fill its
courtyards with the bodies of those you kill! Go!" So they went throughout the city and did as they
were told." (Ezekiel 9:5-7 NLT)

God Kills all the First Born of Egypt

And at midnight the LORD killed all the firstborn sons in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn son of
Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn son of the captive in the dungeon. Even the firstborn
of their livestock were killed. Pharaoh and his officials and all the people of Egypt woke up during the
night, and loud wailing was heard throughout the land of Egypt. There was not a single house where
someone had not died. (Exodus 12:29-30 NLT)
Kill Old Men and Young Women
"You are my battle-ax and sword," says the LORD. "With you I will shatter nations and destroy many
kingdoms. With you I will shatter armies, destroying the horse and rider, the chariot and charioteer.
With you I will shatter men and women, old people and children, young men and maidens. With you I
will shatter shepherds and flocks, farmers and oxen, captains and rulers. "As you watch, I will repay
Babylon and the people of Babylonia for all the wrong they have done to my people in Jerusalem,"
says the LORD. "Look, O mighty mountain, destroyer of the earth! I am your enemy," says the LORD.
"I will raise my fist against you, to roll you down from the heights. When I am finished, you will be
nothing but a heap of rubble. You will be desolate forever. Even your stones will never again be used
for building. You will be completely wiped out," says the LORD. (Jeremiah 51:20-26)
(Note that after God promises the Israelites a victory against Babylon, the Israelites actually get their
butts kicked by them in the next chapter. So much for an all-knowing and all-powerful God.)

God Will Kill the Children of Sinners

If even then you remain hostile toward me and refuse to obey, I will inflict you with seven more
disasters for your sins. I will release wild animals that will kill your children and destroy your cattle, so
your numbers will dwindle and your roads will be deserted. (Leviticus 26:21-22 NLT)

More Rape and Baby Killing

Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death
right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For
I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The
attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless
babies and will show no compassion for the children. (Isaiah 13:15-18 NLT)

4) Miscellaneous Murders

More of Samson's Murders

(The Lord saves Sampson from standing trial for 30 murders and arson by allowing him to kill 1000
more men.) When he reached Lehi, and the Philistines came shouting to meet him, the spirit of the
Lord came upon him: the ropes around his arms become as flax that is consumed by fire and the
bonds melted away from his hands. Near him was the fresh jawbone of an ass; he reached out,
grasped it, and with it killed a thousand men. (Judges 15:14-15 NAB)

Peter Kills Two People

There was also a man named Ananias who, with his wife, Sapphira, sold some property. He brought
part of the money to the apostles, but he claimed it was the full amount. His wife had agreed to this
deception. Then Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit, and
you kept some of the money for yourself. The property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished.
And after selling it, the money was yours to give away. How could you do a thing like this? You
weren't lying to us but to God." As soon as Ananias heard these words, he fell to the floor and died.
Everyone who heard about it was terrified. Then some young men wrapped him in a sheet and took
him out and buried him. About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.
Peter asked her, "Was this the price you and your husband received for your land?" "Yes," she
replied, "that was the price." And Peter said, "How could the two of you even think of doing a thing
like this conspiring together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Just outside that door are the young men
who buried your husband, and they will carry you out, too." Instantly, she fell to the floor and died.
When the young men came in and saw that she was dead, they carried her out and buried her beside
her husband. Great fear gripped the entire church and all others who heard what had happened.
(Acts 5:1-11 NLT)

Mass Murder
This is what the Lord of hosts has to say: 'I will punish what Amalek did to Israel when he barred his
way as he was coming up from Egypt. Go, now, attack Amalek, and deal with him and all that he has
under the ban. Do not spare him, but kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep,
camels and asses.' (1 Samuel 15:2-3 NAB)

You Have to Kill

Cursed be he who does the Lords work remissly, cursed he who holds back his sword from blood.
(Jeremiah 48:10 NAB)

The Danites Kill the Next Town

But the territory of the Danites was too small for them; so the Danites marched up and attacked
Leshem, which they captured and put to the sword. Once they had taken possession of Lesham, they
renamed the settlement after their ancestor Dan. (Joshua 19:47 NAB)

God Kills Some More

Then the LORD said to me, "Even if Moses and Samuel stood before me pleading for these people, I
wouldn't help them. Away with them! Get them out of my sight! And if they say to you, 'But where
can we go?' tell them, 'This is what the LORD says: Those who are destined for death, to death;
those who are destined for war, to war; those who are destined for famine, to famine; those who are
destined for captivity, to captivity.' "I will send four kinds of destroyers against them," says the LORD.
"I will send the sword to kill, the dogs to drag away, the vultures to devour, and the wild animals to
finish up what is left. Because of the wicked things Manasseh son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, did in
Jerusalem, I will make my people an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth." (Jeremiah
15:1-4 NLT)

God Promises More Killing

I will make Mount Seir utterly desolate, killing off all who try to escape and any who return. I will fill
your mountains with the dead. Your hills, your valleys, and your streams will be filled with people
slaughtered by the sword. I will make you desolate forever. Your cities will never be rebuilt. Then you
will know that I am the LORD. (Ezekiel 35:7-9 NLT)

The Angel of Death

My angel will go before you and bring you to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites,
and Jebusites; and I will wipe them out. (Exodus 23:23 NAB)

Destruction of Ai
Then the LORD said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid or discouraged. Take the entire army and attack Ai,
for I have given to you the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land. You will destroy them as you
destroyed Jericho and its king. But this time you may keep the captured goods and the cattle for
yourselves. Set an ambush behind the city." So Joshua and the army of Israel set out to attack Ai.
Joshua chose thirty thousand fighting men and sent them out at night with these orders: "Hide in
ambush close behind the city and be ready for action. When our main army attacks, the men of Ai
will come out to fight as they did before, and we will run away from them. We will let them chase us
until they have all left the city. For they will say, 'The Israelites are running away from us as they did
before.' Then you will jump up from your ambush and take possession of the city, for the LORD your
God will give it to you. Set the city on fire, as the LORD has commanded. You have your orders." So
they left that night and lay in ambush between Bethel and the west side of Ai. But Joshua remained
among the people in the camp that night.
Early the next morning Joshua roused his men and started toward Ai, accompanied by the leaders of
Israel. They camped on the north side of Ai, with a valley between them and the city. That night
Joshua sent five thousand men to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city.
So they stationed the main army north of the city and the ambush west of the city. Joshua himself
spent that night in the valley. When the king of Ai saw the Israelites across the valley, he and all his
army hurriedly went out early the next morning and attacked the Israelites at a place overlooking the
Jordan Valley. But he didn't realize there was an ambush behind the city. Joshua and the Israelite
army fled toward the wilderness as though they were badly beaten, and all the men in the city were
called out to chase after them. In this way, they were lured away from the city. There was not a man
left in Ai or Bethel who did not chase after the Israelites, and the city was left wide open.
Then the LORD said to Joshua, "Point your spear toward Ai, for I will give you the city." Joshua did as
he was commanded. As soon as Joshua gave the signal, the men in ambush jumped up and poured
into the city. They quickly captured it and set it on fire. When the men of Ai looked behind them,
smoke from the city was filling the sky, and they had nowhere to go. For the Israelites who had fled
in the direction of the wilderness now turned on their pursuers. When Joshua and the other Israelites
saw that the ambush had succeeded and that smoke was rising from the city, they turned and
attacked the men of Ai. Then the Israelites who were inside the city came out and started killing the
enemy from the rear. So the men of Ai were caught in a trap, and all of them died. Not a single
person survived or escaped. Only the king of Ai was taken alive and brought to Joshua.
When the Israelite army finished killing all the men outside the city, they went back and finished off
everyone inside. So the entire population of Ai was wiped out that day twelve thousand in all. For
Joshua kept holding out his spear until everyone who had lived in Ai was completely destroyed. Only
the cattle and the treasures of the city were not destroyed, for the Israelites kept these for
themselves, as the LORD had commanded Joshua. So Ai became a permanent mound of ruins,
desolate to this very day. Joshua hung the king of Ai on a tree and left him there until evening. At
sunset the Israelites took down the body and threw it in front of the city gate. They piled a great
heap of stones over him that can still be seen today. (Joshua 8:1-29 NLT)

Killing at Jericho
When the people heard the sound of the horns, they shouted as loud as they could. Suddenly, the
walls of Jericho collapsed, and the Israelites charged straight into the city from every side and
captured it. They completely destroyed everything in it men and women, young and old, cattle,
sheep, donkeys everything. (Joshua 6:20-21 NLT)

God Kills an Extended Family

"You have done more evil than all who lived before you. You have made other gods and have made
me furious with your gold calves. And since you have turned your back on me, I will bring disaster on
your dynasty and kill all your sons, slave or free alike. I will burn up your royal dynasty as one burns
up trash until it is all gone. I, the LORD, vow that the members of your family who die in the city will
be eaten by dogs, and those who die in the field will be eaten by vultures.'" Then Ahijah said to
Jeroboam's wife, "Go on home, and when you enter the city, the child will die. All Israel will mourn
for him and bury him. He is the only member of your family who will have a proper burial, for this
child is the only good thing that the LORD, the God of Israel, sees in the entire family of Jeroboam.
And the LORD will raise up a king over Israel who will destroy the family of Jeroboam. This will
happen today, even now! Then the LORD will shake Israel like a reed whipped about in a stream. He
will uproot the people of Israel from this good land that he gave their ancestors and will scatter them
beyond the Euphrates River, for they have angered the LORD by worshiping Asherah poles. He will
abandon Israel because Jeroboam sinned and made all of Israel sin along with him." (1 Kings 14:9-16
NLT)
Mass Murder
The men of Israel withdrew through the territory of the Benjaminites, putting to the sword the
inhabitants of the city, the livestock, and all they chanced upon. Moreover they destroyed by fire all
the cities they came upon. (Judges 20:48 NAB)

The Angel of Death

That night the angel of the Lord went forth and struck down one hundred and eighty five thousand
men in the Assyrian camp. Early the next morning, there they were, all the corpuses of the dead. (2
Kings 19:35 NAB)

Kill Your Neighbors

(Moses) stood at the entrance to the camp and shouted, "All of you who are on the LORD's side,
come over here and join me." And all the Levites came. He told them, "This is what the LORD, the
God of Israel, says: Strap on your swords! Go back and forth from one end of the camp to the other,
killing even your brothers, friends, and neighbors." The Levites obeyed Moses, and about three
thousand people died that day. Then Moses told the Levites, "Today you have been ordained for the
service of the LORD, for you obeyed him even though it meant killing your own sons and brothers.
Because of this, he will now give you a great blessing." (Exodus 32:26-29 NLT)

Kill the Family of Sinners

And Joshua said to Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make
confession to him; and tell me now what thou hast done, hide it not from me. And Achan answered
Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I
done. When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver,
and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them, and behold, they
are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it." [Note that the sin is not looting,
but failing to give the loot to the treasury of the Lord.] "So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to
the tent, and behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it. And they took them from the midst
of the tent, and brought them to Joshua, and to all the children of Israel, and laid them out before
the LORD. And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the
garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and
his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them to the valley of Achor. And
Joshua said, why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned
him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones. And they raised
over him a great heap of stones to this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of his anger:
wherefore the name of that place was called the valley of Achor to this day. (Joshua 7:19-26
Webster's Bible)

Kill Followers of Other Religions

While the Israelites were camped at Acacia, some of the men defiled themselves by sleeping with the
local Moabite women. These women invited them to attend sacrifices to their gods, and soon the
Israelites were feasting with them and worshiping the gods of Moab. Before long Israel was joining in
the worship of Baal of Peor, causing the LORD's anger to blaze against his people. The LORD issued
the following command to Moses: "Seize all the ringleaders and execute them before the LORD in
broad daylight, so his fierce anger will turn away from the people of Israel." So Moses ordered Israel's
judges to execute everyone who had joined in worshiping Baal of Peor. Just then one of the Israelite
men brought a Midianite woman into the camp, right before the eyes of Moses and all the people, as
they were weeping at the entrance of the Tabernacle. When Phinehas son of Eleazar and grandson of
Aaron the priest saw this, he jumped up and left the assembly. Then he took a spear and rushed
after the man into his tent. Phinehas thrust the spear all the way through the man's body and into
the woman's stomach. So the plague against the Israelites was stopped, but not before 24,000
people had died. (Numbers 25:1-9 NLT)

Murder
At the customary time for offering the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet walked up to the altar and
prayed, "O LORD, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, prove today that you are God in Israel and that
I am your servant. Prove that I have done all this at your command. O LORD, answer me! Answer me
so these people will know that you, O LORD, are God and that you have brought them back to
yourself." Immediately the fire of the LORD flashed down from heaven and burned up the young bull,
the wood, the stones, and the dust. It even licked up all the water in the ditch! And when the people
saw it, they fell on their faces and cried out, "The LORD is God! The LORD is God!" Then Elijah
commanded, "Seize all the prophets of Baal. Don't let a single one escape!" So the people seized
them all, and Elijah took them down to the Kishon Valley and killed them there. (1 Kings 18:36-40
NLT)

Kill All of Babylon

"Go up, my warriors, against the land of Merathaim and against the people of Pekod. Yes, march
against Babylon, the land of rebels, a land that I will judge! Pursue, kill, and completely destroy them,
as I have commanded you," says the LORD. "Let the battle cry be heard in the land, a shout of great
destruction". (Jeremiah 50:21-22 NLT)

Micah Kills a Whole Town

Then, with Micah's idols and his priest, the men of Dan came to the town of Laish, whose people
were peaceful and secure. They attacked and killed all the people and burned the town to the
ground. There was no one to rescue the residents of the town, for they lived a great distance from
Sidon and had no allies nearby. This happened in the valley near Beth-rehob.Then the people of the
tribe of Dan rebuilt the town and lived there. They renamed the town Dan after their ancestor,
Israel's son, but it had originally been called Laish. (Judges 18:27-29 NLT) (Note that God approves
of this slaughter in verse 6.)

Young girls were married off to much older men in bible

Aside from the point that the Hadiths (Sayings of Prophet Muhammad) were literally written 100s of
years after the death of Prophet Muhammad, his companions and all of the people during his days,
which clearly by itself proves that the narrations that Sam Shamoun provided above are all doubtful
and may very well be out of context or straight lies, but I will go ahead and assume that they are
Truthful.

Prophet Muhammad committed no adultery or fornication with Aisha. She was his wife even before
they consummated! The culture back then and still today in many parts of the world as we'll see
shortly did allow for such marriage to take place.

The Bible too allowed for little girls being married off as well:
Exodus 21:7-11
7. "If a man sells his daughter as a female slave, she is not to go free as the male slaves do. 8. "If
she is displeasing in the eyes of her master who designated her for himself, then he shall let her be
redeemed. He does not have authority to sell her to a foreign people because of his unfairness to her.
9. "If he designates her for his son [Note: "his son" means that the master is either her father's age
or even much older!], he shall deal with her according to the custom of daughters.
10. "If he takes to himself another woman, he may not reduce her food, her clothing, or her conjugal
rights.
11. "If he will not do these three things for her, then she shall go out for nothing, without payment of
money. First of all, did the daughter have any choice to be sold off by her father, married off by her
master to either himself or his son? No!
Also, the fact that the master can either marry her or marry her off to his son, means that MOST
LIKELY, SHE IS HIS DAUGHTER'S AGE and younger than his son!! So he's probably at least 30+ years
older than her. Yet, he himself (her father's age or even MUCH older) can marry her.

Strange things: Fathers sticking their fingers into their daughters' vaginas before marriage in the
Bible.
Let us look at the following Verses in the Bible: "If a man takes a wife and, after laying with her,
dislikes her and slanders her and gives her a bad name, saying, 'I married this woman but when I
approached her, I did not find proof of her virginity,' then the girl's father and mother shall bring
proof [how do you think they would do that?] that she was a virgin to the town elders at the gate.
The girl's father will say to the elders, 'I gave my daughter in marriage to this man, but he dislikes
her. Now he has slandered her and said, 'I did not find your daughter to be a virgin.' But here is the
proof of my daughter's virginity.' Then her parents shall display the cloth [the father would literally
stick his two fingers covered with a piece of cloth into his daughter's vagina before she gets married
and keep that bloody cloth for as long as his daughter is married] with before the elders of the town,
and the elders shall take the man and punish him. (From the NIV Bible, Deuteronomy 22:13-18)"

Here is a more clear translation from Hebrew Resources: "The girl's father and mother shall produce
the evidence of the girl's virginity before the elders of the town at the gate. And the girl's father shall
say to the elders, "I gave this man my daughter to wife, but he had taken an aversion to her; so he
has made up charges, saying, 'I did not find your daughter a virgin.' But here is the evidence of my
daughter's virginity!" And they shall spread out the cloth before the elders of the town. (From the
New JPS translation, Deuteronomy 22:15-17)"
The New JPS translation of Deuteronomy 22:15-17 makes it even more clear about having the
parents of the girl displaying the bloody piece of cloth before the elders of the town.

According to the Talmud, the cloth should be "A cloth of less than 3 square finger-breadths. (From
the Talmud, Eruvin 29b-30a and Succah 16a)", and before it is being used, it should be "soft, woolen
and clean. (From the Talmud, Niddah 17a)"

Also, the fact that there is no AGE LIMIT to how girls in the Bible were sold off and married off to
other men, WITHOUT ANY CHOICE, who were much much older than them as also the case with the
Biblical Prophets who married 100s of wives clearly proves the hypocrisy of some Christians who
attack Islam through Aisha's very young age, while they clearly ignore the same fact in their own
Bible. Here is a sample of the 100s of wives of the Biblical Prophets:

In Exodus 21:10, a man can marry an infinite amount of women without any limits to how many he
can marry.
In 2 Samuel 5:13; 1 Chronicles 3:1-9, 14:3, King David had six wives and numerous concubines.

In 1 Kings 11:3, King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines.
In 2 Chronicles 11:21, King Solomon's son Rehoboam had 18 wives and 60 concubines.

Even today, girls in many third-world countries are married off at the same or similar age. Also, it is
believed by many Jews and Roman Catholics that Mary was 12 - 14 when she had Jesus. Also as I
said, the Biblical Prophets who had 100s of wives each most probably married young girls as well.

Also, what about Aisha's PARENTS (MOM AND DAD)? Didn't they see it right and fit to marry their
daughter at that age and at that time? Who are we to judge?

Fathers can sell their daughters as slave girls to other men in the Bible Fathers can sell their
daughters as slave girls to other men in the Bible

Exodus 21:7-11
7. "If a man sells his daughter as a female slave, she is not to go free as the male slaves do.
8. "If she is displeasing in the eyes of her master who designated her for himself, then he shall let her
be redeemed. He does not have authority to sell her to a foreign people because of his unfairness to
her.

Fathers have full control over their daughters

The thing that we all must know is that the father in the Bible has full control over his daughters. Let
us look at few quotes from Talmudic and Biblical resources:

The father has the right to force their daughters into marriage: "The father has the obligation to
marry off his daughters. (From the Talmud, Kiddushin 29a, 30b)", and "Marrying off one's daughter
as soon after she reaches adulthood as possible, even to one's Slave. (From the Talmud, Pesachim
113a)"

The father even has the right to sell his daughter as a servant (slave girl) to other men: "If a man
sells his daughter as a servant, she is not to go free as menservants do. If she does not please the
master who has selected her for himself, he must let her be redeemed. He has no right to sell her to
foreigners, because he has broken faith with her. (From the NIV Bible, Exodus 21:7-8)"

There is even pre-arranged marriage before the child is even born!

People before they are even born are arranged for marriage: "A Divine Voice announces who a soon-
to-be-born boy and girl will marry when they grow up. (From the Talmud, Moed Katan 18b, Sotah 2a,
Moed Katan 18b and Moed Katan 18b)"

A The woman's virginity can be taken through a person's hands, a father's finger inside his daughter.
As I showed above, "digital defloration" means inserting a finger or thumb into the woman's vagina.

I had some Christians raise high objections to this point, and some had even criticized me of being a
"liar". Well, beside from the above references that clearly prove my point, if you still do not believe
me then go and seek it among OLD MIDDLE EASTERN Jews for yourself. Also, using your own
personal common sense, explain to me what the Bible means by "her parents shall display the cloth"
and its relationship to the girl's virginity? If the husband is the one to take his wife's virginity through
sexual intercourse, then what would having the girl's parents displaying "the cloth" have anything to
do with it?

You might then think, then how would the husband be able to know whether his wife was ever
touched by another man if her father took her virginity away from her before marriage?

The answer to this question is that some men can tell by instinct whether their wives had previous
relationships before when they sleep with their wives. This however is very difficult and doesn't apply
to all men, especially when their wives are good in faking it. In the old Jewish culture fathers were to
take their daughters' virginity and must keep the bloody cloth for as long as their daughters were
married as a solid proof.

That is why the Bible mentions "the cloth" and orders the parents to use it as a proof. Using your own
common sense, the cloth would not be a clean one like anyone you have at home. It has to be a
bloody one.

These laws however are not GOD Almighty's Laws, even though they are considered as such. These
are old Jewish Laws that had corrupted the Bible:

"`How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the
lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?' (From the NIV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

The Revised Standard Version makes it even clearer: "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of
the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie. (From the RSV
Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

In either translation, we clearly see that the Jews had so much corrupted the Bible with their man-
made cultural laws, that they had turned the Bible into a lie!

Why would fathers do that?

Back in the old Biblical days, if a girl commits fornication, she would bring a big shame to the family.
The family would lose their reputation and respect in the town. That is why you see Biblical verses
such as the following:

"And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her
father: she shall be burnt with fire. (From the NIV Bible, Leviticus 21:9)"

"...and the birth of ANY daughter is a loss. (From the New Jerusalem Bible, Ecclesiasticus 22:3)"
"Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a MALE child:
then she shall be unclean SEVEN DAYS; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall
she be unclean. And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. And she shall
then continue in the blood of her purifying THIRTY THREE days; she shall touch no hallowed thing,
nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. But if she bear a FEMALE
child, then she shall be unclean TWO WEEKS, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the
blood of her purifying SIXTY SIX days. (From the NIV Bible, Leviticus 12:2-5)"

The entire Bible is corrupted anyway according to its Theologians!

The Bible itself admits that it has been tampered with and corrupted by man's alterations and
corruptions:

"`How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the
lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?' (From the NIV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

The Revised Standard Version makes it even clearer: "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of
the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie. (From the RSV
Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

And regarding who wrote the books and gospels of the Bible, well here is a sample of what the NIV
Bible's theologians and historians wrote:

"Serious doubts exists as to whether these verses belong to the Gospel of Mark. They are absent
from important early manuscripts and display certain peculiarities of vocabulary, style and theological
content that are unlike the rest of Mark. His Gospel probably ended at 16:8, or its original ending has
been lost. (From the NIV Bible Foot Notes, page 1528)"

"Although the author does not name himself, evidence outside the Scriptures and inferences from the
book itself lead to the conclusion that the author was Luke. (From the NIV Bible Commentary, page
1643)"

"The writer of this letter does not identify himself, but he was obviously well known to the original
recipients. (From the NIV Bible Commentary, page 1856)"

"The letter is difficult to date with precision....(From the NIV Bible Commentary, page 1905)"

"It seems safe to conclude that the book, at least in its early form, dates from the beginning of the
monarchy. Some think that Samuel may have had a hand in shaping or compiling the materials of the
book, but in fact we are unsure who the final author or editor was. (From the NIV Bible Commentary,
page 286)"

"Although, according to tradition, Samuel wrote the book, authorship is actually uncertain. (From the
NIV Bible Commentary, page 322)"

"The date of the composition is also unknown, but it was undoubtedly during the monarchy. (From
the NIV Bible Commentary, page 322)"

"The author is unknown. Jewish tradition points to Samuel, but it is unlikely that he is the author
because the mention of David (4:17,22) implies a later date. (From the NIV Bible Commentary, page
360)"

"Who the author was cannot be known with certainty since the book itself gives no indication of his
identity. (From the NIV Bible Commentary, page 368)"

"There is little conclusive evidence as to the identity of the author of 1,2 Kings. (From the NIV Bible
Commentary, page 459)"

"Whoever the author was, it is clear that he was familiar with the book of Deuteronomy. (From the
NIV Bible Commentary, page 459)"

"According to ancient Jewish tradition, Ezra wrote Chronicles, Ezra and Nehemiah (see Introduction to
Ezra: Literary Form and Authorship), but this cannot be established with certainty. (From the NIV
Bible Commentary, page 569)"

"Although we do not know who wrote the book of Esther, from internal evidence it is possible to
make some inferences about the author and the date of composition. (From the NIV Bible
Commentary, page 707)"

"The unknown author probably had access to oral and/or written sources....(From the NIV Bible
commentary, page 722)"

"Regarding authorship, opinions are even more divided....(From the NIV Bible Commentary, page
773)"

etc...

How can you justify "digital defloration" to your sister or daughter?

As we've seen above, it was part of the old Jewish culture to do digital defloration (inserting a finger
into the vagina) to women. Mary, the mother of Jesus, even got digitally deflowered herself! I'd like
to ask all Jews and Christians this simple question:

How can you justify to your daughter or sister that it is Biblically and religiously OK to insert a
(middle) finger (whether by male or female; it doesn't matter) into her vagina to take away her
virginity?

I mean, beside the woman's husband, who should really have the authority to touch her in her
private like that?

And also, could Jeremiah in Jeremiah 8:8 meant exactly this when he said that the Jews had so badly
corrupted the Bible and turned it into a "lie"?

"How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of
the scribes has made it into a lie. (From the RSV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"

As we've seen above, Deuteronomy 22:13-18 absolutely could not have referred to the husband
covering his penis with the cloth and inserting it into his wife's vagina. The verse clearly talked about
the cloth being in the parents' possession, and it clearly referred to having the evidence right before
the wedding night.

So, could this digital defloration by the bride's relative (whether it is her father, mother, brother,
sister, or what have you) be nothing but a ridiculous LIE that was put in GOD Almighty's Holy Mouth
as a Revelation sent from Him as Jeremiah 8:8 above clearly suggests?
