A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING HON. GOVERNOR MANUEL N. MAMBA TO

ALLOCATE TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP 200, 000.00) FOR THE AUGMENTATION
OF BARANGAY ROAD AT YELLOW BELL STREET, ZONE 3, NATTANZAN, IGUIG, CAGAYAN.

WHEREAS, one of the priority project of this barangay is the improvement of its
Barangay Road network top enhance the mobility and social interaction of the
residents;

WHEREAS, one of the strategic barangay road identified for concreting

barangay road which approximate length of 200 line meter;

WHEREAS, this road becomes muddy and hardly passable to motorize vehicles
during rainy season thereby causing inconvenience to motorists and residents thereat;

WHEREAS, in order to solve this problem it is a need to concrete barangay road

however with its limited budgetary resources, this barangay is not financially capable to
undertake this urgently needed project;

WHEREAS, this body is aware of the thrusts of the Hon. Governor Manuel N.
Mamba in the concreting of Barangay road;

WHEREFORE, on unanimous motion of the Body;

RESOLVE as it is hereby resolved to earnestly request Hon. Governor Manuel N.

Mamba, Provincial Capitol, Capitol Hills, Tuguegarao City for their most favourable
action.

 MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

KNOWN ALL MEN BY THIS PRESENTS:

This memorandum of agreement made and entered in to this 13th day of December 2016 at
Tuguegarao City, Philippines by and between:

The PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF CAGAYAN with principal office at the Capitol Hills,
Tuguegarao city, Cagayan, herein presented by its Provincial Governor, Hon. Manuel N. Mamba, and
herein referred to as First Party;

--and--

BARANGAY NATTANZAN, IGUIG, CAGAYAN (name of beneficiary) represented herein by its Barangay
Chairman SIMON S. BARIZO and herein after referred to as the Second Party;

WITNESSETH:

WHEREAS, under section 33 of RA 7610 otherwise known as the local government code 0f 1991, local
government units may undertake cooperative undertakings for their common benefits.

Whereas, the provincial government of Cagayan sees the importance of such joint undertaking for
effective local governance and in promoting general welfare;

Whereas, the provincial government of Cagayan is extending a financial assistance to the second party
for the augmentation of the concreting of barangay road.

Whereof, therefore, for and in consideration of the concerns and purposes of the parties, they
voluntarily agree and stipulate the following terms and conditions:

Section 1. The Project. This MOA governs the implementation of the augmentation of the concreting of
barangay road;

Section 2. Release And Use Of Project Fund. This party shall release the second party the fund within 5
days from the signing of the MOA. The second party shall use the fund only for the above mentioned
project;

Section 3. Period Of Implementation. The project has to be implemented within 45 days from the
release of the fund to the second party;

Section 4. Monitoring. The first party shall monitor the implementation of the project in the conformity
with the approved program of work and specification submitted;

Section 5. Return of UnusedFfunds. In the event that funds will not be utilized for the project, the
second party shall balance to the first party within 30 days from the completion of the project;

Section 6. Report and Liquidation. The second party shall provide the first party with the appropriate
report of implementation and liquidate the project funds within 30 days from the completion of the
project. The second party, upon the request of the first party shall make available all papers,documents,
reports and records relating to the project for inspection and examination.

Section 7. Amendment. Any modification or amendment of the terms, conditions and covenants of this
memorandum of agreement in order to be valid and binding must be mutually agreed upon in writing
by the parties.
Section 8. Effectivity. This agreement shall take effect on the date of signing hereof by the parties
concerned and shall be terminated upon the satisfactory fulfillment of all terms and conditions
embodied herein.

IN WITNESS THEREOF, the parties hereto affix their signatures on this instrument in Tuguegarao city,
Philippines this 13th day December 2016.
