portfolio benchmarks to the property industry. It is a successful multinational company operating in
the UK and twenty other countries and its client base ranges from leading investment banks to fund
managers and property companies across Europe.

The purpose of the job

The Central Eastern European (CEE) Team is a small division within the overall IPD Service
Delivery. It is focussed on helping institutional property investors and property companies
understand the driving factors behind the investment returns achieved by their portfolios. This is
achieved through the timely delivery of a range of standard products, presentations to clients, plus
ad-hoc analysis, dependent on the clients’ individual needs.

Working within a team of other analysts, the role will initially involve co-ordinating and performing
data collection, validating information, delivering a range of analysis reports as well as presenting
the performance results to a group of clients. The performance analyst will be responsible for
ensuring effective communication with their designated clients, and be expected to be fully briefed
at all times on changes within those client organisations and to understand how these changes
affect the requirements of IPD.

In addition, with the help of a member of the Client Management department where appropriate, the
analyst is responsible for ensuring that the clients make the most of existing IPD products and
services.

The quality of our products depends upon attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness of
approach whilst working to deadlines.

Key responsibilities

The role will initially involve the following activities across a range of PAS services and clients:
• Co-ordinating data provision and assembly in accordance with timetable
• Validation and loading of data into the IPD database
• Producing analysis reports and assisting in the preparation of client presentations
• Presenting performance results to a group of clients (mostly CEE investors)
• Answering ad hoc enquiries from clients and sending out written material and data where
appropriate.
• Contributing to specific projects as required.

Qualifications/Technical Knowledge

1. Requires an advanced qualification or equivalent work experience

2. Strong numerical skills
3. IT literate
4. Some experience in Microsoft Office applications
5. Show an aptitude to deal with data, and show a close attention to detail
6. Requires fluency in written and spoken German
