SPILL OR LEAK Generally: In case of emergency/fire CALL BOMBA 994,

CAUSING explain that a chemical accident has occurred. No smoking or
MATERIAL use of fire, stop engine. Cardon of the area, hold back
DAMAGE authorised persons safety distance is 10 meters. Do not stay in
the wind direction.
1. Spill on Floor, Outflowing liquid must be absorbed or diked. Avoid that
Soil, Road etc. outflowing liquid runs into sewer, water streams etc. Avoid
personal danger. The spillage and absorbent must be collected
and disposed of according to current legislation. After
collection of the spillage rinse the area with large amount of
water
2. Spill into Water In case of pollution of sewer, water stream etc. Shoould be
notify the water treatment plants and nearby residential areas.
Spillage in water must be sucked up. The spillage must be
collected and disposed of according to current legislation.
3. Fire Toxic gases may be produced. Cool closed drums with water.
Drums may burst when subjected to heat, causing more fire.
Extinguish fire with water, dry powder, foam or fog. Avoid
extinguishing agents entering sewer, water stream etc.
