Hastelloy C22 Round Bar is an alloy of nickel, chromium and molybdenum. It is highly
corrosion resistant and has great metallurgical stability. It is not sensitive towards
heating and welding. It has great resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, as well as
stress corrosion cracking. Chromium provides resistance to oxidizing media, while
tungsten and molybdenum resist corrosion resistance. It also exhibits excellent
resistance towards wet chlorine and oxidizing acids with chlorine ions.
