Activities :
a. Introduction:
1. Recap previous lesson getting the pupils to name the seven days of the week.
Class
Year 1 b. Presentation:
1. Display the chant chart. (refer to TB page 98)
2. Recite the chant.
3. Pupils listen and follow.
4. Guide the linus pupils during this activity.
TIME 5. Guide the pupils to recite the recite the chant using correct pronunciation, rhythm
and intonation.

(60 minutes) c. Practise:


1. Divide the pupils into two groups.
2. Each group recites two stanzas.
3. Pupils practise chanting in groups.
4. Each group takes turn to chant.
