1.

Warm-up activity: asking personal questions as a whole class, individually and then in
pairs. (15 min)
2. Speaking part 2: simulated situations (see the file called photos speaking b1: test 1,
part 2)
First of all, ask them what this part is about (given situations, work in pairs,
communicative interaction, language functions (opinions, agreeing and
disagreeing, suggestions, advice, recommendations, come to a conclusin, etc)
(5/8min)
Then, put into practice. They will work in pairs and when they finish youll choose
two pairs to perform their conversations in front of their classmates.
Feedback from their classmates and finally from the teacher. (25min)
3. Speaking part 3: photo description (the same way of starting as speaking part 2) (what
it is about, how long it lasts, what they need to describe, etc) (5/8min)
Practice: part 3 (in pairs: give them out a set of pictures for each one) (see file
photos speaking b1: test 2, part 3) (10 min).
4. Speaking part 4: converstation about two questions related part 3. (15min)
Ask them what it is about also.
Practice: in pairs and the as a whole class to see their results and give them
feedback.
5. Vocabulary :worksheets (health, people and personality) (10/15min)
6. Vocabulary game (give a detailed description of some words and then the rest of the
class has to guess what Word is) (5 min)
