Joshua comes to possess land the LORD has given (1:2-3, 11) Jesus in His Second Coming - as Conquering King, to possess
His inheritance - the kingdoms of this world (Rev 11:15)

Iniquity of the inhabitants of Canaan complete (Gen 15:16) Sins of world system have reached to heaven, and God has
remembered her iniquities (Rev 18:5)

Two men of Israel sent in to search out the country (2:2); #2 = witness; Jews who bear witness to imminent return of the
messengers (6:17) King during Tribulation (Mt 24:14, Rev 11:3, 14:4-5)

Rahab hides the men of Israel from king of Jericho (2:3-7) Compassionate Gentiles will shelter Jews from the man of sin
during Tribulation (Rev 12:13-14, Eze 20:35).

Rahab professes faith in the LORD (2:11), asks for kindness Believing Gentiles on earth who survive Tribulation seek
toward her and household - to spare them, based on her mercy from Jesus as King (Ps 2:12, Ps 67)
kindness to the men of Israel (2:12-13)

Scarlet cord marks Rahabs house; mercy extended to her Believing Gentiles redeemed; preserved from judgment on
household (2:18-19) basis of the blood of Christ (Mt 25:46, 1 Cor 5:7); retributive
kindness of Jesus extended toward all compassionate Gentiles;
invites them into His earthly kingdom (Mt 25:34-40)

The two men of Israel bring Rahab out, and all who are with Heavenly voice gives final witness, warning people to get out
her (6:22) of the world system, lest they share in her judgment (Rev 18:4)

bride of Salmon and the mother of Boaz (Mt 1:5) people of God (Ps 2:6-8); King marries the people and the
land (Is 62:4-5); through faith, Christ is born to Gentile
nations; Christ becomes their own (Ps 2:10-12, Is 66:18, Rev
7:15-17)
