How are these amazing animations made ?? Tonight we will get up close and personal with Paul Topolos as he takes us backstage to wander in the world of matte painting and green screens . In the after cafe will be using computer simulations and coding to explore the physics and math being used at the Pixar studios.

Curious how suspension bridges work as an engineered system ?? Tonight we explore this historical feat and the dynamic cast of characters including Emily Warren Roebling- a distinguished engineer in her own right. Our own students will perform the Demonstration of the Firth of Fourth in the after cafe ! APRIL 12 Keys to Innovation : Dr. Ransom Stephens- The route from problem to solution is a swirling path with Aha! moments lighting the way. In this presentation, we examine the neural processes that percolate insights into consciousness: the physics of lateral thought, the power of perspective, the value of novelty, and how your brain selects and rejects ideas before youre even aware of them.
