Diagnostic mode
Access
To enter the diagnostic mode, press START/

PAUSE and one option button simultaneously,
and turn programme selector to the first
position clockwise, until LEDs start flashing
(position of pushbuttons is configurable, and
may vary).

To enter the diagnostic mode, press the upper

two pushbuttons on the left-hand side simul-
taneously (irrespective of their function), and
turn programme selector to the first position
clockwise, until LEDs start flashing.

Diagnostic mode
Reading the last alarm code
If an alarm code is stored in the
EEPROM, this will be shown in
hexadecimal code by 2 flashing LEDs:
CYCLE END and START/PAUSE

Diagnostic mode
If an alarm code is stored in the
EEPROM, this will be shown by
2 flashing LEDs:
CYCLE END and START/PAUSE

Diagnostic mode
CYCLE END shows the first digit of the

alarm code (alarm family)
START /PAUSE shows the second digit
the digits will be shown by a sequence of
flashes (0.4 secs on, 0.4 secs off)

Quick reading of alarm codes
The last alarm can be read even if the

machine is not in the diagnostic mode:
Press START/PAUSE and
any option pushbutton
simultaneously for at least
2 seconds
All LEDs extinguish an then
show the full alarm code
The sequence will be repeated as long as
the 2 pushbuttons are kept depressed

Alarm code family 1:
Water fill
E11: water fill problems in wash cycle
(time-out expired)
E13: water leakage

Draining
E21: drain problems (time-out expired)
E23: drain pump triac failure
E24: drain pump triac sensing failure

Pressure switch
E33: incongruency between antiboil and
1st level switches (longer than 3 secs)
E35: water overfill (antiflood level switch
open for more than 15 seconds)
E36: antiboil sensing (AB_S) failure
E37: 1st level sensing (L1_S) failure
E39: antiflood sensing (HV1_S) failure

Door lock
E41: door open (time-out expired)
E42: door lock failure
E43: door lock triac failure
E44: closed door sensing failure
E45: door lock triac sensing failure

Motor circuit
E51: motor triac short circuit
E52: no tachometer signal from motor
E53: motor triac sensing failure
E54: motor (reversing) relay contact always
closed

Heating circuit
E61: insufficient heating in wash cycle
(time-out expired)
NOT SHOWN IN USER MODE !
E62: overheating during wash cycle (temp.
on NTC > 88C for more than 5 min.)
E66: heating relay failure

E71: NTC sensor failure (value out of limits)

J7 is the external serial interface:

It may be used to connect the circuit board to a
computer, and run configuration or diagnostic
programmes from there
