Dear Siti Hajar,

I hope you and your family are in good health. I am just good here. I apologize for not being
able to reply to your letter soon, as I was busy with my June mid-term exam. Thus, I am now free to
reply your letter. However, this time my letter is not like any other letters that I have always written
about. Instead, this letter is a bit different. This letter is about me wanting to share to you how much I
enjoyed an English camp that I had recently participated in, which my school had just organized.

On June 1st 2017, my school, SMK Saujana had recently organized an English Camp. The camp was held
at the school field. The target participants were students from my own school. The number of
participants that were involved in thin is camp was 100 students. There were varieties of activities held
for the target participants during this camp. Such activities were language games, drama, public
speaking and film viewing.

For language games, it was the kind of activities that involved language held for students during this
English camp. The types of games that were done by the participants were Scrabbles, Spelling Bee,
Crossword Puzzles, Poetry Recitation, Grammar Quizzes and many more. The value that I gained after
these activities was that I gained experience to be confident. Moreover, the other activity that I had
participated in was drama. Drama was an activity that involved theatrical skills for students to present or
perform in front of a crowd of people. The reason for us to be involved in the drama activity was to
improve our knowledge on English language proficiency. From this activity, it made us became more
capable in ourselves.

Furthermore, I also participated in public speaking. It was

one of the most interesting activities that had been held
in the camp. Public speaking was an activity that you
need to speak in English in front of the public. Joining this
activity will make you be valiant to speak in English with
the people around you. Besides, the English camp also
gave me a chance to participate in film viewing. There
were two sessions for film viewing, during the morning
and at night. In the morning, we watched the movie,
Kong the skull island. At night, we viewed the movie, The
Ring. It was a petrifying movie to watch. The films were
to attract the participants to view and take the value
from it.

However, the camp also had problem such as

punctuality, participation and fatigue. It happened when
the participants didnt appreciate their time. The camp
started at 8.00 a.m, unfortunately do you know what
happened? The participants were being late for no
reason. I felt bad about this. This thing showed that there
was no punctuality among the participants.
Then, another problem was about the participation from
the other participants. In my opinion, there was a lack of
participation in this camp. It will be more fun if more
students can join this camp. This camp also had a lot of
benefit that can help all of the students to improve their
English.
Next, fatigue was also a big problem to the participants.
It was caused by their weakness of physical and mental
ability. Many participants felt very exhausted after this
camp, because they joined many activities. They poured
all their energy into the activities. It made us sleep like a
log. even though it made us tired, it was very good for
those who joined it.

It was an extremely enjoyable camp for me ,because I

had learnt to think all about English and expanded my
vocab .Besides,we got more experience from this camp
such as speaking english in public,able to be stage poise
and was able speak out fearlessly.
In a nutshell, I think you also should join this camp if your
school also organized it.Thats all I can share with you.I
have to pen off now.Send my regards to your
