POSITION Project Coordinator

REPORTING TO Manager - Projects

Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning each project from pre-commencement to
completion, by working closely with sales, project and management staff.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare /arrange site report to provide project updates


- Prepare and amend project plan as required
- Assist with special projects and reports as needed
- Communicate with clients for project updates
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers/Site Foreman to ensure a full
understanding of site activities
- Plan and coordinate projects in advance to ensure continuous operation working with Site
Management and ensuring complete communication between sites and office.
- Coordinate project site requirements following company procedures (MRF etc)
- Collect data and compose reports to provide a job progress summary to management
- Weather monitoring and send reporting to site
- Track progress of all current projects against targets and project plans
- Arrange delivery of goods via communication with Purchase and Logistics coordinator
- Provide monthly project reports
- Monitor project to ensure quality, cost efficiency and timely completion
- Report delays to management and discuss action to remedy

- Sending DFO as per the requirement from UDMC yard to required sites.
- Manage the approval and submission of overtime requests in line with company
requirements
- Verification of incoming materials to site.
- Manage the daily submission of overtime request to HR
- Act as liaison between Project Manager and Manager-Projects ensuring all project
issues are addressed
- Ensure project files are maintained and stored in an orderly fashion
- Assist in development /implementation of policies and procedures to support the
companys ISO accreditation.

Minimum Requirement:

- English language competency, fluency in other languages may be beneficial


- Engineering qualification

Abilities Required:

- Telephone skills
- Good communication ability
- Computer skills with competency in Microsoft Office, Primavera Peachtree and Auto
CAD
- Coordination skills
- Fast learner
- Ability to grasp project concepts
- Understanding of basic project management principles
