OBJECTIVE Seeking management position with the Med Star medical offices to share
my leadership experience and encourage a positive environment.

EXPERIENCE REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT, JOHNS HOPKINS WOMENS

HEALTH CENTER
JUNE 1, 2015 TO PRESENT
I started each job at entry level and managed to work my way up to
leadership roles. While working for Johns Hopkins, Ive demonstrated my
professionalism and willingness to learn and teach. I took it upon myself
to join committees and I trained all the Medical Assistances there
currently, except for one. This was the same for my role at the American
Red Cross. I started as a phlebotomist and thirteen years later I was a
strong leader and supervisor of blood mobiles and donor centers.
Throughout my work experiences, I followed FDA and HIPAA (health
insurance portability and accountability act) guidelines and regulations, in
which I took the liberty to enroll myself in class to become a HIPAA
Officer for my current office. Because of my tenacity and willingness to
go above and beyond of whats required of me, I was requested to work
alongside one of the doctors at Hopkins that was involved with the
development and implementation of the HPV (human papillomavirus)
vaccine.

EDUCATION COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF BALTIMORE COUNTY, BALTIMORE, MD

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
I am currently in my third semester of college yet this is a changed career
pathway. I initially started school to become a Registered Nurse yet I feel
strong towards the business management side of things. I want to try an
ensure that each patient enters has the knowledge of their provider and
rights. My current GPA is a 4.0.

FORTIS INSTITUTE, TOWSON, MD

REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

This was a ten-month program and I was very nervous about it to start. I
was previously a housewife for two years and felt I was too far gone to
learn. Well I managed to maintain a 3.89 GPA which was not easy. The
coursework included spelling and defining, learning about the different
systems of the body and its functions. There were seven modules within
the ten months and I was awarded a Honors certificates each module.
COMMUNICATION I strive to do my best and give my all at everything I do. My past
accomplishments can reflect on that. I allowed my professionalism and
maturity show through my work ethics and that something that gets me
noticed by those that matter. I go to work to perform a job and not make
friends and that has kept me in the right lane. My father was a boss and
my mother was boss like. They provided for me the perfect example of
hard work and dedication.

LEADERSHIP I oversaw my churchs newsletter and my current jobs newsletter. This

has taken off for me and it has shown me the abilities I never knew I had.
From my humble beginnings as a young mother, working at Kentucky
Fried Chicken, I was promoted to supervisor and every job after that I
earned my way up.
