General Instructions

- Words and phrases used in this document and defined in the RFP, and/or the Specimen EPA, have the meanings given in the RFP, and/or Specimen
EPA, unless otherwise defined herein.
- This template for the Proponent's Financial Model is designed to provide a guide for Proponents to outline the high-level cash flows associated with
the Project. The template is provided as a guide and the Proponent is permitted to modify the format and add cash flow categories as required.
However, at a minimum, cash flow details for items listed in the Proponent's Financial Model template should be included in the Proponent's
submission.

- All cash flow amounts should be expressed in $Canadian (thousands)


- When completed, name this document Form 6C and save in MS Excel format for inclusion in the electronic copy of your Proposal, and print the
Proponent's Financial Model for inclusion in the hard copy of your Proposal.

Capital Costs
Pre-Construction Development Costs associated with pre-construction development, including feasibility studies, advisory
services, etc.
Property, Plant & Equipment Costs associated with planning and construction of the power plant, interconnection facilities,
etc.
Fuel-Related Property & Tenure Costs associated with the acquisition of property and tenure required for fuel supply.

Fuel-Related Capital (Off Plant Site) Costs associated with development and equipment related to the acquisition of fuel and its
transportation to the power plant. Costs for equipment located at the power plant site should be
included in the Property, Plant and Equipment line item above.
Other Capital Costs Other capital costs not included in the above categories.

Owner's Contingencies Contingencies associated with development and construction of the Project.

Interest During Construction Interest and financing charges accumulated during the development and construction phase of
the Project.

Revenue
Firm Energy Production (MWh) Firm Energy generated and delivered to the POI, net of internal losses. Note that this amount
should be expressed in MWh.
Firm Energy Revenue Projected revenue from the sale of Firm Energy.

Non-Firm Energy Production (MWh) Non-Firm Energy generated and delivered to the POI, net of internal losses.

Non Firm Energy Revenue Projected revenue from the sale of Firm Energy.

Other Revenue Other revenue generated from the project, such as tipping fees, sale of steam or heat by-
products, etc.

Fuel-Related Operating Costs


Fuel Acquisition Costs associated with the acquisition of fuel delivered to the power plant site (excluding
transportation costs), including equipment leasing costs. Any costs associated with processing
or handling fuel at the power plant site should be included in Plant Operating Costs below.

Fuel Transportation Costs of hauling fuel from the field to the power plant site, including equipment leasing costs.

Contingencies Contingencies associated with fuel acquisition and transportation costs.

Other Fuel-Related Operating Costs Other fuel related costs, not captured in the above categories.

Plant Operating Costs


Wages & Benefits Wages and benefits associated with power plant operations.

Maintenance Plant maintenance costs and charges, including equipment leasing costs.

Permits & Licenses On-going permits and licensing fees.

Insurance On-going insurance costs.

Property Taxes Property taxes and levies associated with the power plant site.

Lifecycle Management Reserves for major equipment overhaul and replacement.

Contingencies Contingencies for operating costs.

Other Other operating costs not captured in the above categories, such as corporate overhead charges,
general and administrative costs, etc.

Debt Service
Interest Interest payments on debt related to initial capital investment.

Principal Repayment Principal repayment on initial capital investment.

NOTES & ASSUMPTIONS:


Commercial Operations Date (COD) Indicate the Guaranteed COD date.

Notes and assumptions Space is provided to allow the Proponent to present a summary of other key assumptions
related to the Financial Model.
