A TASTE OF MEXICO

Ella Canta is to open on

15 September. The Mexican
restaurant from renowned
chef Martha Ortiz, is bringing
a much-needed addition to the
area. Drawing inspiration from
her world-renowned restaurant
in Mexico City, Dulce Patria,
Ortizs London menu will
feature several of the famed
dishes that have made her one
of Latin Americas most exciting
chefs, while also incorporating
produce available from across
the British Isles. Ella Canta
will join Theo Randall at the
InterContinental London
Park Lane, bringing two
renowned chefs under
one roof and creating
one of Londons
greatest culinary
destinations.

Creative cocktails
Sample Zumas summer cocktail menu before
it ends at the end of September. Designed by
bar manager Pawel Rolka, the menu features a
selection of light and refreshing drinks.
The Journal recommends the Ishigaki Cooler
which makes a refreshing accompaniment to the
food on offer. The flavour is both sweet and sour,
thanks to the mango soda and home-spiced
rum, while the lemongrass and fresh ginger gives
it an inspiring finishing kick.
