TESTIMONIALS
Dr B. Alexandre. "A revolutionary approach, which adds a new element to occlusion,
allowing us to solve problems that we didn't know how to before."
Dr A. Florence "I finally have answers to be able to treat my patients with a comprehensive
approach, functional and aesthetic."
Dr C. Sandrine "This course helped me grow, I am now a mouth architect! It opened doors
for me that I would never have thought to open. I can now treat patients that I never would
have been able to treat before. It's a new exercise and I can take pleasure in the process
despite the complexity. I've really grown! A real connection with Cyril and Christophe, they
lift us up, they help us evolve!
Dr G. Hloise "A different approach to dentistry, it's comprehensive. We are technicians not
just doctors - the classes with video material are great!
Dr B. Francine "This training course makes us think, makes us work while keeping in
mind our treatment plans with more intelligence, logic, and critical thinking."
Dr R. Bertrand "I have always been faced with the same problem: dissatisfaction with the
aesthetic results of my work. Not always having predictable results from an occlusal point
of view, I didn't have the tools or the protocol. There was a correlation between what Cyril did
and what he was saying.
Dr L. Agnes "I got lots of answers for my complex cases that I can now easily handle."
Dr M Philipe "I found Cyril astute and clever, he knows his profession well."
The Education Center for Periodontology and Implant Dentistry was founded by Professor Peter Windisch (Chair of the
Department of Periodontology, Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary) and Assistant Professor Dr. Balint Molnar.
The ECPID organises courses in the eld of Implant Dentistry and Periodontology in English language. reconstruction of
lost hard- and soft tissues around teeth and dental implants is our main research interest. We would like to share our
knowledge and expertise with colleagues from all over the world during our continuing education program. We oer
lectures and seminars as well as Master Courses based on live surgeries and hands-on courses. You are invited to visit our
homepage and facebook prole, browse our treatment strategies and education programs. It would be a pleasure to
welcome you in the future at one of our courses in Budapest, the beautiful capital of Hungary.

The history of Budapest began with Aquincum, originally a Celtic settlement that became the
Roman capital of Lower Pannonia. Hungarians arrived in the territory in the 9th century.
Following the Battle of Mohcs and nearly 150 years of Ottoman rule, the region entered a
new age of prosperity in the 18th and 19th centuries, and Budapest became a global city
after its unication in 1873. It also became the second capital of the Austro-Hungarian
Empire. Budapest was the focal point of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848, the Hungarian
Republic of Councils in 1919, the Battle of Budapest in 1945, and the Revolution of 1956.
Cited as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Budapest's extensive World Heritage Site
includes the banks of the Danube, the Buda Castle Quarter, Andrssy Avenue, Heroes'
Square and the Millennium Underground Railway, the second-oldest metro line in the world. It
has around 80 geothermal springs, the world's largest thermal water cave system, second
largest synagogue, and third largest Parliament building.
The city attracts about 4.4 million tourists a year, making it the 25th most popular city in the
world, and the 6th in Europe, according to Euromonitor. Budapest is home to the
headquarters of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, eighteen universities
are situated in Budapest, including the Central European University, Semmelweis University,
Etvs Lornd University and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Abstract:
In the last few years, we have heard a lot about Minimally Invasive Dentistry. The common point is
tissue preservation, preferably by preserving disease from occurring and intercepting its progress,
but also removing and replacing with as little tissue loss as possible.
This concept can embrace all aspects and elds of our profession. Today all three main phases of
modern Endodontics (access opening, shaping and obturation) can be managed minimally
invasive.
Although on these issues there is often disagreement and their application turn out to be empirical
and subjective.
The authors will explain the rational behind their choices and will give a predictable and
reproducible protocol to reach the goal of being eective at the same time, minimally invasive in all
steps of endodontics: access opening, shaping and obturation.
Abstract Ferraris:
The ever-increasing demand for functional and aesthetic materials is leading companies to
continuous evolution and research.
Indications about full ceramic or composite restoration are becoming ever less absolute:
considering many clinical aspects you can opt for a material rather than the other.
The versatility of the composite resin, its possibility of layering intraorally, the ease of repair and
the fairly good prognosis in the medium and long period, making it a reliable material and the
tendency of new materials to improve the wear resistance and the stability of the surface
candidates it in many cases as a worthy substitute of ceramic materials.
By contrast, ceramic materials, often considered the gold standards for colour characteristics and
mechanical and physical properties, see an increase in the ability to produce restorations with
minimum thickness while maintaining dimensional stability, prognosis and aesthetics.
The choice, therefore, to use ceramic or composite materials is always less obvious, but, on the
contrary, oers to the dentists greater possibility of diversication in restorative.
Finally many aspects could be discussed as: indications, mechanical characteristics, aesthetic
appearance, predictability and durability.
