Objective:
At the end of the program, the participants will be able to:
Further understand and exercise their rights as women to avoid future violence and
gender inequality
Freely express their feelings towards the different situations that they encountered
violence against them
Raise awareness about the different groups that will help them fight their advocacies,
and
Increase their self-worth
Content:
This program is a one-day seminar that aims to spread the importance of womens right
and help increase awareness about gender equality. Informative sessions, workshops, open
forum, group discussion and interactive learning will be utilized to help the participants educate
themselves about gender inequality and violence against women. We also took into
consideration the willingness of the participants to join our seminar because as we all know not
all women are open in discussing their experiences with others especially if it involves violence
and because of this we also aim to let the participants to be more open and let them express
what they are truly feeling inside so that they can further understand what they are going
through. The seminar will be held in a room that only the participants and the organizers will be
present so to maintain confidentiality of information and to let the participants feel secure with
themselves and to us organizers.
