DEFINITION Nursing clinical supervision is a professional process
undertaken by the head of the chamber through a process
of guidance, counseling and evaluation to nursing staff on
a continuous basis to improve the nursing staff's ability to
perform its work in order to achieve professional service
quality and patient safety protection.

PROCEDURE A. Assessment
a. Assess scheduled nursing clinical supervision
schedule
b. Assess the supervision schedule to be carried out
if it is known to all nursing staff
c. Assess the area to be supervised
d. Assess goals, forms and ways of supervision
e. Assess the readiness of head space on the material
in the area to be supervised
f. Assess the readiness of nurse staff to be supervised

B. Plan
1. Preparation of participant :
a. Arrange the contract time and conduct
scheduled nursing clinical supervision

identification of nurse staff personality styles to
be supervised by the Chief of Space
2. Preparation of the tools
a. Prepare activity supervision sheet based on
measuring instrument or prepared instrument

C. Implementation
1. Open the clinical supervision activities of nursing
with greetings and prayers led by the Chief of space
2. Create a comfortable environment when nursing
clinical supervision activities take place

4. Provide encouragement to supervised nursing staff
to provide independent assessment of staff

problem directly / not directly from the activities to
be supervised by the Chief of space.
